You know how Gilly Madsen lived in awe-inspiring fear of the zombie apocalypse? Mark Renard felt the same way about the robot apocalypse, an event which was far more likely to occur. Mark had been fascinated and repulsed and terrified by robots for as long as he could remember. So when Lara proposed they rent some horror movies to celebrate the Halloweeniness of October, Mark was drawn straight to the 'Robots, Robots, Robots' section of the video store.

There were tons of choices, each one more terrifyingly awesome than the next. The problem was picking just one, and Mark had never been that great at making decisions.
