Lara woke up by herself, which wasn't all that unusual as of late. But then she cracked her eyes open and remembered that she wasn't alone in her bedroom. She was alone in Stone's bedroom. And he didn't hate her anymore. That was good. But he still wasn't there. Lara could vaguely remember him getting up at some point, but that could have also been a dream. She wasn't sure.

She picked up her head to check the clock for the time. It was almost 6:30. She'd been asleep for a while. Leaning up like that was exhausting, so Lara dropped her head back onto the pillow and stared up at the ceiling.

Jethro was hyper, and loud. This wasn't conducive to letting Penny take her nap since he kept waking her up. So Phin had taken him down to the garden in an effort to tire him out. Jeth was currently alternating between toddling through the grass in an effort to run and falling down to crawl around instead. Phin had brought a few toys with them too, so those were sometimes included but at the moment, Jeth was getting a kick out of having Phin chase him around - which did include some kiss monster attacks whenever he stopped pretending he was too slow to keep up and caught Jeth. There was much giggling going on on Jeth's part and some laughing on Phin's. It was probably a fairly cheesy sight to see.

( So Lara is officially pregnant! After some crying, the freaked out couple return to the Manor before things follow a strange order, Lara pukes, there's a short normal shower, and then a first in the sex department for both Follethornes, isn't that just cute? )

Lara had two very important things to do today. She was dreading going through both of them, but they had to be done. So, sitting cross-legged in the middle of her bed, she dialed Stone's number and waited for him to pick up.

Something that wasn't ironic: Ray-ee-ain on your wedding day. Something that was ironic: Figuring out you're probably pregnant the day before the scheduled doctor's appointment you'd made in order to discuss birth control pill options. Lara was sure that had to be some pretty heavy irony there.

( Nonsensical rambling, but the bottom line is that the doctor confirms that Lara's totally knocked up. )

((I'm spamming the comm today, apparently.))

( Taking some special tests. )

Lightly dressed in this heat, Charlie was window shopping. He had two bags - one from a children's clothing store and one from a soft furnishers and the window he was currently checking out as a toy shop.

Any observer might be able to guess that he wasn't shopping for Deacon, but that didn't explain the woebegone look on his face.

Lara and Stone had been in Lara's bedroom for a while when they heard Mark come home. That was a total letdown, since Lara had thought he'd be out all night. But nope, he was in, and from the sounds of it, he was camped out on the couch in the living room watching Battlestar Galactica.

So Lara and Stone had to be quieter. Or at least turn on some music and be a little quieter.

( Stone gets confused about what reality he's in and says somethin' special by accident (or is it?) and then things are awkward. )

Okay people, how many bands do you have, how many would you like to involve in STS, and do you have any preferences for sets? I will take all your answers into consideration for my planning.

Hey, you guys! We're doing the STS music festival deal again this year, in the baseball diamond in the Square. The event will be from September 5-7th, and I was wondering what you'd be interested in playing a set. The event's gone off really well in the past and would be a great way to expose Arcane to a larger audience.

The three-day music festival in the Square will be back from September 5th through September 7th!

Volunteers are both needed and appreciated!

What we are looking for:

- set-up crews
- security crews
- advertising/street teams
- ticket sellers/takers
- merchandising
- fooding
- businesses with vendor booths
- anything else you are willing to offer!

Ricky was in the laundry room, washing an almost infinite number of almost identical blue jeans. He hadn't washed anything since his ex-roomie's girlfriend had kicked him out of his ex-room.

And things did pile up.


He'd heard rumours about a gym and a games room down here, and might check them out later; but at the moment, he was content to have a smoke and placidly watch the machines going round and round.-

The band playing tonight was decent, but not fantastic, which pretty much meant one thing -- time for a little makeout session in the coat room's alcove. Sure the Follethornes could have gone downstairs to Lara's office or, say, back to the Manor, but the alcove was so much more fun.

Lara was in an extraordinarily good mood on Wednesday. She (and Stone) had slept in way late and eventually parted ways in the afternoon. There was work and stuff that had to be done, unfortunately. But even that didn't seem so bad since Lara was feeling so super awesome. The previous night had been pretty great, with the date-like stuff and the apartment all to themselves, so she was going to be riding on the fumes from that for a while.

As she stood in the Mocha line, Lara bounced a little on her feet. Not because the line was long (even though it was), but because of all the awesomeness.

Stone had started out the day with the last little remnants of a sinus infection that had finally basically diminished minus his stuffy nose, the day before. This had been the reason he'd only gone to work for two hours to open and then had gone home. By lunchtime, he was feeling better so he'd decided to do some useful stuff around the apartment since he'd been out of commission for a couple days. After completing the laundry, cleaning the apartment - that's right, he'd shoved things away where he thought they were supposed to go anyway and had done the whole dust-and-vacuum thing - he went into the kitchen to inspect their food status. That's when he'd decided he felt like cooking.

( Stone makes dinner, he and Lara watch Star Wars, then they do it. )

Stone was feeling strange today. Maybe it could be described as 'sappy'. He couldn't decided. Regardless, he'd sent Lara a text to see if she was busy tonight and when she said she wasn't, he told her they were having dinner on his roof. Yep, that's right. He felt like barbecuing and yes he was aware that Lara did not eat meat and therefore barbecuing was a little harder to accomplish. Whatever, it was a roof, there was a grill and there was a fridge that contained alcohol. This was fun summertime stuff damnit. Plus it was warm out and that was even better since Lara was all cold all the time.

( Stone surprises Lara with an actual date, he and Lara watch Star Wars, then they do it. )

Tristan was casually kicked back at a table, watching people. He has his iphone out, scouting through the competition of other clubs and making notes to visit a few as Disturbed pooled in his ears. Well the left one anyway. He never did listen to anything with both ears.

The sling was decidedly not cool. And it made work a whole helluva lot harder since there was a new shipment in back and Lara couldn't help unload it. So instead she supervised until she got bored and then headed back to the front of the store.

Brody was working the register, so Lara wandered through the aisles to see if anything needed to be cleaned up. There were some Radiohead albums stuck in the Coldplay section, which made Lara wrinkle her nose. Some hipster's idea of a joke, no doubt. She picked up them up and headed toward the C's.
