(Alterna) Lara & Stone Parking Lot Then Follethorne Apartment So they got the news and left the doctor's office and climbed back into Stone's car. Then it was time to just sit there. They were both pretty sure that Lara was pregnant before they went to the doctor, but now they were completely sure. And it was weird. Lara hadn't put her seat belt on yet, but that was fine because they still hadn't started the car. Instead she turned her head down and lifted the bottom of her two shirts. She looked at her stomach, which seemed as normal as ever, except there was something human growing behind it. She dropped the shirts again and looked over at Stone, letting out a slow breath.
"Wow," was the only thing she could think of to say.
Stone, at the moment while sitting in the car, couldn't really remember walking to and getting into the car. He was staring at the little horn symbol on the steering wheel, his mouth open a little in shock. maybe they'd been pretty sure, but last time he'd thought she was pretty sure and the doctor had told her she wasn't pregnant so maybe part of Stone had been expecting the same thing. But to be sitting there and thinking about the fact that she really was pregnant and there really was going to be a baby and holy shit they were going to be parents - he was really going to be a father. Stone's face fell a little, definitely worried now. This was bad. It wasn't entirely bad...because he did love Lara and...no it was bad. She didn't want kids either so this was going to be bad for her too, probably more so than him. He frowned a little more at the steering wheel and wondered if she was going to be worried that he was going to do the things Gibson and Patience did to him and to Poe.
He blinked and jumped a little when she finally spoke since he'd been startled after zoning out. He didn't look at her though just yet. He just nodded. "Yeah," He agreed quietly.
Lara just breathed again because she couldn't think of anything else helpful to do at the moment besides not dying. This baby thing was big. Huge. The most massively scary thing that could ever happen to her. To both of them. And it wasn't something that was going to go away. It was permanent. This was a forever sort of thing. Lara swallowed and then took another slow breath. How was she going to take care of a baby when she could barely remember to feed the cat? "...can we do this?" she asked after a few more moments of breathing and staring at Stone who wasn't looking at her.
Stone was still staring at the steering wheel, contemplating how monumentally different everything was going to be now. What if all they did with each other now was fight? Worse, what if all he did after the kid was born was...Stone wished he had an off button for his brain. When Lara spoke he turned to look at her, mouth open and ready to say 'Hell no we can't, are you crazy?' or something along those lines, but then he stopped since she was staring at him. His eyes landed briefly on her stomach before he closed his mouth and swallowed and then looked at her again. Saying something stupid wouldn't benefit them in any way that Stone knew of. Then again, he didn't want to go lying to her.
"I don't know..." He told her initially. But that wasn't very helpful was it? So instead he reached out for her hand and pulled it over to kiss the back of it. "Well...that's not entirely true," He leaned over and kissed her shoulder. "We do have a lot of people who will smack us around if we start fucking up," He reasoned.
When Stone looked down at her stomach, Lara swallowed and instinctively crossed her arms over herself. She looked down and then back up at him again answering the question in her head with a resounding 'hell no' of her own. She frowned a little when he said he didn't know, even though she wasn't expecting some magical make-it-all-better answer. When he reached over for her hand, she let him take it but kept one arm around her middle. She raised her eyebrows at what he said next, but then just nodded a little. "Yeah, but still. Capable people won't always be around to babysit us while we're babysitting the...baby." Lara blinked and looked down, her eyes getting kind of watery.
Stone was getting really annoyed with the center console being in his way. "I know..." He frowned at Lara getting logical after a very dumb attempt at humor. And then she started getting watery eyed and he was annoyed that they were in the car since it was hindering his ability to at least attempt to make her feel better. "Don't move," he told her before he opened his door and climbed out. He shut it as he headed around the car and tugged hers open. Still uncomfortable and inconvenient, yep, but better than having a stupid console in the way. He leaned over and pulled Lara to him, turning his head to kiss the side of hers. He frowned a little more as he thought about how much she'd been crying the night before and saying how much she really didn't want to have a baby. He was right there with her, but more of this was going to be happening to her for the next stretch of months. "Hey...I told you last night, we'd be okay. And we will. What's the matter? One doctor visit and you don't believe me anymore?" Bad time to joke yeah, but it was Stone. The more nervous he got the worse his joking was.
Lara looked up in surprise when he told her not to move. She nodded a little and watched with a slight frown as he walked around the car. And then he opened up the door and pulled her over and she finally took her arm off her stomach so she could hug him around the middle. "I know," she said after a few moments. "I'm just..." Scared? Yes. She shook her head and then pulled back to look at him. "I'm sorry. I'm not really helping you feel better here."
Stone shook his head. "You don't have to. I'm trying to make you feel better," He told her after she pulled back. He moved his hand along her cheek and then through her hair. "On the bright side...we do get to test out that pro you were talking about." He nodded. "And I also get to be on the other side of the pudge poking fence." He smiled a little. He leaned forward to kiss her forehead and then leaned his against hers. "You know...we have a pretty good blueprint of what not to do," he reasoned. He paused a moment and then kissed her. "And by the way, I love you."
Lara nodded again, even though she wanted the feel-better-making to be on both sides. There was more nodding and she closed her eyes when he kissed her forehead. "I love you," she said after returning his kiss. And then she felt a little frantic so she pulled back some more so she could hold on to his hands and squeeze them. "I love you," she repeated with some more force. "And I don't want this to..." Screw it up?
Stone arched his eyebrows when Lara got uppity. "Hey, relax," He shook his head. "Nothing's going to mess us up," He told her with a shake of his head as he squeezed her hands back. He lifted them both up and kissed the back of each of them. "We have a...system. And it's reliable." He nodded. "We'll...figure it all out and we have time to...y'know do that," he shrugged. Except for that part where he was pretty terrified right now.
Yeah, he could say that nothing was going to mess them up, but having a baby in their lives was going to be a complete change, and who knew if they'd have time for the system anymore since they'd be too busy rearing a resentful child whilst resenting each other. Or something. Lara wasn't thinking rationally at the moment, but she was pretty sure her parents' marriage was going fine until she happened. So the same thing could happen to them. Maybe. But they weren't their parents, she had to remember this. And hopefully their kid (oh God, their kid) wouldn't be like them in terms of disliking their parents. She didn't want the kid to hate her. That would suck. Lara nodded and looked at their hands before looking back up at Stone. She was going to remind him that if she started spazzing out on him, it was probably just hormones, but instead she squeezed his hands again and said, "I'm really scared." But so was he, so it wasn't like they were completely alone. And on top of that, they had a small network of helpful people. And J was even kind of around to maybe give Lara help from time to time. So it was scary, yeah, but not as scary as it could be. Only a little less, though.
Scared was an understatement, but Stone definitely didn’t need to say that. He just watched Lara so he could try and figure out what he had to do and say next to make her feel better. He squeezed her hands back and then kissed them once more before letting them go so he could hug her again. “I know. I am too,” He told her before he kissed the side of her head again. “But we’re going to be fine…I mean c’mon look how awesome we made that whole marriage thing.” He told her. “We’ll just…have a kid who’s…really paranoid…really cold and covered in layers all the time and…obsessed with saying ‘cucumber’.” He nodded. “And who knows that Kenny Loggins is totally The Man.” He smirked and kissed her shoulder.
Lara went back into hug mode and nodded some more as Stone talked. When he finished, she laughed a little bit. "Wow...our kid is going to be a freak," she said before turning her head down into his shoulder and squeezing him some more.
Stone snickered a little and kissed the top of her head. “Hey that’s infinitely more fun than a ‘normie’ you know,” He said as he moved his hand over her hair and down her back.
Lara snorted and shook her head before lifting it up again to look at Stone. "This is so weird..." She sniffled a little even though she hadn't really gotten to the crying part of crying and looked out past Stone's shoulder. "It's kind of cold," she said and then looked at him again. "Are you doing all right?" Well, she knew he was scared just like she was, but she still felt the need to ask.
Stone was kind of relieved that he had her snorting bits of laughter. See it wouldn’t be so bad. For now. He nodded at her comment and turned his head to kiss the side of hers. “Sorry,” he said as he looked at the open door since she was cold thanks to another one of those crazy summertime cold fronts. What the fuck was up with that? “I was getting pissed off at the center console.” He told her as he moved his arm to slide it up and down her arm and turned a little to try and block her from any wind coming in the open door. “I’m all right.” He told her, which wasn’t exactly true but for her he’d be all right. Ew that was really sappy. “I’m worried,” He added since he didn’t want to go lying or anything. “And scared.”
"S'okay," Lara said, hugging him under his jacket where things were warmer. She was glad he came around the car. She tilted her head back to see his answer to her question. She frowned a little when he said he was all right because if he was all right (which she knew he wasn't, but still) that would be completely unfair. But he was the opposite of all right, just like she was, and hearing that was something that would be completely welcome. So she looked at him for a few moments after he amended his answer and then moved forward to lean her head against his chest. "Me too," she said, and it came out muffled. That was okay though, since he already knew that.
Stone just nodded and moved his hands over her hair and along her back. "So it's established, there's fear." He stated for lack of anything useful to say. So he kissed the side of her head. "Want to go home and continue with the hugging, paranoia and repeated declarations of fear?" He asked.
There was other stuff they could do at home, too. Lara definitely hadn't forgotten about that. Even so, she was still too hyped up on that paranoia and fear at the moment to be all about the pro. She turned her head to kiss his chest and then pulled back to nod. "That plan works for me." She squeezed him one last time and then let go so he could move back around the car.
Damn right there was other stuff they could do...once the shock stuff wore off at least a little bit. He nodded and kissed the top of her head. "Okay." He nodded again. "Good." He leaned over and kissed her properly before stepping back to shut her door for her and head around to the other side.
Lara returned his kiss and then turned forward again so he could shut the door. She put her seatbelt on and leaned her elbow on the window frame to hold up her head with a small sigh. She was pregnant. She was going to have a baby. She and Stone were going to be parents. Forever. Holy shit.
Stone climbed in, put on his seat belt and started the car. He looked over at Lara and frowned a little. Then he reached pulled out of the parking spot and headed for the parking lot exist. He reached over and moved his hand down her arm and to her hand so he could lace his fingers in with hers. Holy shit was right.
Lara bent her fingers around Stone's when he took her hand. After a few moments she lifted her head off her hand and leaned her head back against the seat to turn and look at him, her head spinning with so many baby thoughts.
Stone glanced over at Lara when she moved, but he was driving so he had to look back out the windshield. He was trying to distract himself by thinking about what everyone’s reactions were going to be. Their friends, well that was obvious since they were still getting picked on about that whole denial of dating thing. Not that Stone cared, because he really didn’t but it was at least something else to think about as he drove them home.
Lara was trying not to think about everyone's reactions because that would entail telling her mother she was pregnant and that was going to be scary. Instead she was thinking about how different their lives were most definitely going to be because apparently she liked depressing herself. She stayed quiet for the rest of the trip back. Thankfully they didn't run into anyone they knew (or who would have heard about the outburst at Upstairs) on their way up to the apartment.
Once in the apartment, Stone set his keys down on the table by the door and shut the door behind them before pulling his coat off to hang it up. He wasn’t sure if there should be talking or if he should just let Lara deal with what she needed to on her own. He headed for the kitchen, his throat was definitely dry. “Do you want anything to drink?” He asked as he pulled out a glass to fill with water for himself.
Lara leaned on the door frame looking into the kitchen and shook her head. She didn't feel like ingesting much of anything at the moment, food or drink. By this point her brain had worked up to figuring out how much time she was going to have to take off work and who would left in charge of stuff now certain competent people like Danielle were no longer at the store. She should go figure this out right now. She tapped her fingers on the door frame and said, "I'm going to be in the bedroom." She took a few steps back and then walked to through the apartment, taking her jacket off on the way. When she passed the guest room, she paused and looked into it. So this was probably going to be the baby's room. Lara swallowed and suddenly felt kind of nauseous. She wasn't sure if it was a baby-thing or a freak out thing, but she had to quickly turn around and high-tail it across the hall to the bathroom because it was apparently time to throw up. Well, there wasn't a lot to throw up considering she hadn't eaten much in the past two days (way to take care of that baby) so it was mostly painful dry-heaving. Awesome. Lara was pretty sure it was more of a freak out thing than a baby-nausea thing. But then again, how the fuck did she know? She hoped Stone wasn't going to come into the bathroom (which was why she shut the door on her way in) because she didn't want him to have to worry about her more than he already was.
Yeah like that wasn’t going to happen. Stone, in fact, had nodded to Lara, chugged down the entire glass of water, set the glass in the sink and wiped his mouth before heading out of the kitchen and toward the hall when Lara had booked it into the bathroom. He grimaced but, of course because he was Stone and a paranoid worrier, he headed right for the bathroom. He stopped at the door and listened before he knocked on it, since it was closed and all. “Hey c’mon…we can’t recreate Halloween if you shut the door,” He called through it to her although yeah he was really worried and he would remain so probably or the rest of forever now…as if he didn’t have enough paranoia just dealing with Lara walking places in the City by herself, now she wasn’t technically by herself and also, she was so not allowed into convenience stores.
Lara shut her eyes tight and reached out to flush the toilet. She sat back and took a moment to grimace and swallow before she turned to the door. It was pretty ridiculous to think Stone wouldn't realize she was puking. Come on. "We can't recreate Halloween if I'm sober," she called weakly before she scrunched her eyes closed again. "Y'can come in," she added as she slowly moved to her feet.
Stone smirked a little at that but he was still pretty damned worried. But, the puking thing was normal right? He didn’t like that at all. When she said he could go in he turned the door and pushed it open. “Y’okay?” He asked as he watched her start moving to her feet. He held his hands out to help her but he doubted she’d let him help.
Damn right she could stand up on her own. At this point. She wondered how long it would take before she turned into some kind of huge, round weeble wobble. "Yeah," she nodded once she was standing up. She gave Stone a small smile and then walked over to the sink to clean up. She was halfway through brushing her teeth when she looked at Stone's reflection in the mirror. It was so weird that there was now someone incubating who was already more important than the two of them. Lara hadn't been counting on anyone being more important than them. In her mind, anyway.
"I feel gross," she said around the toothbrush. "Wanna take a shower?" And then go lie down and mope around the apartment. This was highly necessary.
Stone was leaning in the doorway and watching Lara. This was all very bizarre and there was so, so much that he didn’t want to think about involving his parents. In fact just thinking about how he didn’t want to think about it was making him fight off cringing. That was pretty pathetic. He arched his eyebrows at her toothbrush infused question. He definitely hadn’t expected that.
“It’s kind of cute that you think I would ever turn down a joint shower.” He replied with a nod.
Lara finished up and spit out the toothpaste. "I need to stock up on all the cuteness I can before the disgustingness of pregnancy starts." She really didn't even want to think about it. She heard about it enough from J and now she actually had to live it. When she was done at the sink she moved over to the tub to turn the shower on. "This shower is purely utilitarian, by the way," she said as she pulled her shirts off. "So don't get any ideas." They were so not going to try out the pro for the first time in the shower. That would no doubt end in disaster. She dropped her hands to her sides with her arms still in the sleeves and looked at her stomach in the mirror.
“But you’ll have pudge, so it will balance out.” Stone told her with a firm nod before he tugged his shirt over his head. He was undoing his belt when she informed him that this was no sexcapade shower. He put his hands up in surrender. “Consider me idealess.” He nodded before he went back to work on ditching his clothes.
Lara looked up from her stomach's reflection and nodded. "Good," she said as she pulled her arms the rest of the way out of her sleeves. "And pudge simply doesn't compare to the rest of gross pregnancy stuff, trust me. No one can enjoy pudge that much. Well, except me." She pulled off her jeans and tossed them through the door that led into their room before checking the water temperature. Nice and warm. Her undergarments were ditched and then it was shower time. Which pretty much just consisted of her standing under the water and with her head turned up to the showerhead and her eyes closed.
"I think you underestimate my ability to love pudge as much as you do." Stone reasoned as he finished tugging his pants and boxers off and tossed them in the same general direction as their other clothes. Stone was grateful that Lara was closing her eyes a lot during the shower since he was having trouble not looking at her stomach since there were no barriers over it at the moment. There were a lot of things going through his mind and none if it...no actually some of it wasn't so bad. He tilted his head and looked up at Lara's face with her eyes all closed and...look he was only human. He could not be held accountable for his actions, which included that extra step forward and leaning over (but ha not as far since her head was all tilted already) to kiss her before sliding one arm around her waist to pull her toward him and placing the other hand on the side of her face. Of course she was so little that his fingers reached her wet hair.
Lara doubted that. She really loved herself some pudge. And that sounded kind bizarre. The sentiment was sweet, honest. She still hadn't really moved much by the time she heard Stone come in the shower. For some reason letting the water smack the hell out of her face helped her do the opposite of thinking. And...so did Stone pulling her over and kissing her. She returned the kiss and managed to slide her arms around him because hey, she was only human, too. "Hey," she said, opening her eyes again once she felt him put his hand on her face. She took a deep breath and managed to smile a little. Actually, it wasn't so hard to do. "I'm telling you, if we try and have sex in here, one of us is going to end up dead, and I'm not raising this baby alone." Oh man, now that joke made her sad.
Stone arched his eyebrows and moved his thumb along her cheek when she started talking. He grinned a little bit since she was smiling, even if it was a little one. He managed to force himself not to frown or cringe at the idea of one of them ending up dead and raising their kid alone. Ew, it was weird thinking something with the phrase 'their kid' included. "I said I'd behave...but there's only so much resistance I can tolerate when standing with you in a shower," He stated innocently before he leaned over to kiss her again. "There will be no shower sexcapade in order to avoid serious injury," He nodded and then kissed her again.
Lara kissed him back and added in a couple more because she just vetoed shower sexcapades, but not shower makeoutcapades. And when they were making out it was really hard to think or talk about baby-having. "Post-shower sexcapades, though," she said before reaching up and kissing him again, "I can be okay with those." Because there was so only so long they can put off the pro. And besides, reaping the benefits of the pro was a much better idea than sitting around and moping.
Whatever the case of –capade, this is kind of what had gotten them into this mess. Stone was banking on the pro being pretty fucking awesome. There was little…nah there was no doubt that it would be but he did doubt that Lara understood just how incredibly awesome the prospect of not suffocating his most valued appendage in latex truly was. So he just nodded after returning all those kisses. “Sounds like a very good plan,” he nodded before he leaned over farther to leave few well placed kisses along her neck.
Worry not, Lara understood the awesome. Well, maybe not completely the boy-side of the awesome, because duh. And...actually, she didn't know about the awesome from personal experience, but that was part of the reason why anticipation was at an all time high. There was definitely no doubt it would be awesome, because, c'mon. Logic. Lara moved her arms back so she could rest her hands on his sides and went all head-tilty when he started kissing down her neck. She started thinking about the baby thing again. Uncool. "Wanna...get to that post-shower stuff now?" Hey, she got water on her. That was enough to make her feel less post-puking gross.
Stone was made his way from the crook of her neck up to the underside and then the back of her jaw before she made the suggestion. He lifted his head to kiss her properly, and went in for a barely touching hip graze as he did so. “If you’re done with the nonsexcapade showering, sure,” He nodded before he kissed her a couple more times.
Lara reached over and turned off the water to make her point. Except that made everything cold, so it was a brilliant plan. She kept returning his kisses, though, especially since hip grazes worked so much better when there wasn't water showering down all over the place. Around the time Lara started getting goosebumpy, she turned them around so she could make it over to the side were the towels were hanging.
Stone grinned when Lara turned off the water. “Oh now where’s the fun in warming up that way?” he asked as he reached past her for one of the towels and stepped out of the tub, wet floor be damned. He held his hands out for her since, hey, slippery was dangerous and all. He much preferred however to think about the prospects of the pro and not the reason for the pro.
Yeah, really. It was much better for both of them (all of them?) to think about it that way. She grinned a little and took her hands as she left the tub. Luckily no one slipped and after some super-quick drying, Lara grabbed onto Stone's wrists and started leading him to the door that led into the bedroom. And yeah, maybe she slid a little when she did that because she was super-anxious and forgot about the water on the ground. There was no falling involved, though. Thankfully.
Whoops. Stone put his arms out right away when Lara went slipping because yeah falling would be bad. He smirked a little and followed her to their room kicking some stray clothes inside the door on his way. And then he leaned over and kissed the back of her shoulder and the crook of her neck a couple of times on their way.
Lara grinned once she regained her balance and started into the room. She took Stone's arms to wrap them around her middle - middle with baby inside, but she wasn't going to think about it, no sir - and headed for the bed. Once they got there, she turned around and pulled him down on the mattress next to her. For kissing, of course. Other stuff, too. And Lara may have actually been a tiny little bit nervous about this whole pro thing, if only because it was a first time thing for her and she hadn't had a first time thing in a long time, much less with Stone involved. But the excitement was definitely outweighing the nervousness, especially since dude, they'd had sex so many times before so it wasn't like this was anything to be worried about.
She leaned over and kissed him a few times and then pulled back a little with a laugh. "I almost went to get a condom out of the drawer," she said before kissing him some more times and moving her hand down from his chest to his stomach. "I'm so focused." And more kissing.
Stone was all for kissing and other stuff on the bed. He was actually kind of worried that doing anything would be bad for a baby, but he was positive that they'd had sex while she was already pregnant because...well they were them and it wasn't like she'd conceived last night so. Logic and all that. Stone was still a paranoid person though, duh. It was most certainly a first for him that was for sure. It was definitely weird having a first with Lara although if one thought about it, they had a good number of firsts: First long official relationship, first (and only cause duh, they were awesome) marriage, and hey, first (and only, please God) kid. There were more, Stone was sure but he was too preoccupied to think of them.
He returned her kisses and then smirked. "No worries...I would have set you straight..." He said as he moved his hand down her side and just barely over her hip. He leaned over and kissed her a few more times, shifting a little and letting out a jagged little sigh when her hands moved to his stomach. Distractions were fun, kids.
Yes, kids. The reason for the distraction in the first place. Or kid, rather. Because there would definitely only be one, if Lara could help it. It was good that Stone was on that same page. Lara was in the middle of grinning at his stomach-touch induced sigh when she had to let out one of her own when he grazed over her hip. She kept one hand moving across his stomach and put the other on the side of his face to pull him closer for more of that kissing action. Lara was definitely out of breath when she eventually pulled back and said, "Confession time," as she slid her hand to his side and then around to his back. "I've never," kissing break, "not used," another break, "a condom." This confession wasn't exactly startling, considering he knew she'd never used the pill or anything, but still. She was just putting it out there.
Stone grinned. There were a lot of kisses in there to return and he was a good amount of breathless what with all of them. "Oh?" He asked when she said it was confession time. He dragged his fingertips lightly over her hip as he kissed her back. "I have a confession too," He nodded and then kissed her a few more times. "Me either." He grinned and kissed her again and hey he threw in another light hip attack too.
Lara's eyebrows shot up and then her face went kind of funny for a moment or two after he grazed her hip. "Really?" she asked, still catching her breath. She hadn't expected that one, to be honest. She grinned and went kiss happy again before pulling back to say, "Well, this just got a whole lot more awesome." Well, wasn't that just sweet. They got to have first-sex-times with each other.
Stone's eyebrows arched. "Really," He nodded, smirking a little. "You think I'd trust a floozy with my naked parts?" He returned all those kisses. He enjoyed a kiss-happy Lara very much so. He nodded. "It certainly did!" He agreed before he wrapped his arms around her and rolled onto his back. Hey, he was still paranoid about the crushing possibilities, give the guy a break. Once situated, he went back to that hip grazing and tilted his head to add a neck attack too.
"I'm the only floozy you trust with your naked parts," Lara said with a smile that might have verged on dopey as he repositioned them. She put one hand down next to his head and used the other to help hold him up as he went to kiss her. This so wasn't going to last long with all that hip grazing.
Stone grinned (shhh, it was a little dopey too), "Damn right..." He nodded as he reached the spot between her collarbones. Wasn't going to last long? Ha! Always with the underestimating. He started to making his way up the front of her neck and toward the underside of her chin. And what the heck, he went on with some more hip grazing.
Lara grinned and laughed when he started in on the hip grazing and she had to lower herself down to her elbow because yeah, her hand wasn't supporting her anymore. "'Member the first time I touched your stomach...and you like...almost crushed me?" she asked with a smirk, moving her hand from behind his head because she was low enough at this point that she didn't need to hold it up anymore.
Stone had just finished trekking his way down the front of her neck to her collarbones when Lara started laughing and lowered herself down. He grinned a little and leaned back to look at her as she spoke, moving his fingertips along her hips again for good measure. He smirked a little at her comment. "Maybe..." He drew the word out. "My memory's a little hazy about that, I do remember what happened the first time I did this," He lifted his head up and kissed his way toward the spot at the back of her jaw just behind her ear and then dragged his fingers across both hips just barely enough to actually be considered grazing.
Lara let out a shaky breath and had to move her arm and do some crushing herself. Or as much crushing as someone like her could possibly do on someone like Stone. She closed her eyes and took a moment to smile a little and attempt to breathe normally again before saying, "You can't do that and expect me to continue holding myself up." She turned her head down and kissed the top of his shoulder. "C'mon."
Stone grinned when Lara went all crush happy. He kissed the spot at the back of her jaw again. He dragged his thumbs barely over her hips since with the crushing there was only so much space between skin. And even though he was thinking about the crushing because there was technically a baby between them...he was kind of okay with that. Must've been the prospect of no-condom-age. Definitely. "I expect nothing." He grinned and leaned back to kiss the side of her head and then kissed her properly. And then he rolled them over since she was having such trouble with the holding up stuff. Of course that just moved them farther apart since he was afraid to squish her, so he settled on turned them again onto their sides for now.
Lara grinned after catching her breath again once he kissed the good spot once more, and then it was time to roll over again and then some more. "Hi," she said before leaning in to kiss him as she ran her hand down his side and moved one of her legs between his. This was really an excellent baby distraction. There needed to be a lot of this over the next nine months.
Condomless sex? Of course there would be a lot of it. Duh. They were Stone and Lara. It was what they did. Well, not the condomless part though. He was definitely going to have to make sure that all the injury parts happened to him too. That was important. Stone did not need to be thinking about baby thing when they were about to sex it up without the latex prison...not that Stone didn't thoroughly enjoy all of that...but c'mon. Yeah, he stopped thinking about the baby stuff when their legs went all tangled and instead let out a little sigh and kissed her. "Hi," he grinned and let his fingers traipse across her hips and the sides of her hips. He leaned over and kissed her. "Hey, so...I love you." Important these words were...not as important as the neck attack he launched though. Or maybe coinciding.
"That's..." Something, all right. Yup. Lara tilted her head instead of finishing the sentence right away, and moved her hand up into his hair. "...good," she continued at some foggy point. She almost made a comment along the lines of 'I'd hate to have to go through this baby stuff if you didn't,' but it was far more important to tangle their legs some more so she could move closer to him. So instead of talking, there was some sighing. This pro was going to be way awesome, she just knew it.
