Hey guys! Um, okay, so this has been a long time coming - many apologies. The last two weeks have been too busy for me.

So my name is Lucy, and this is Draco Malfoy. His (hideously long) profile is in his journal, but to keep it short: he's on probation, his father is in jail, and he's redoing his seventh year at Hogwarts. He's a bullying asshole, but he's also a pretty amusing friend to have. He grew up a lot in the last year, and he's more subdued than he used to be, but he's still full of ridiculous plans, can be hideous to people he doesn't like, and stupidly melodramatic, although he doesn't mean that quite as much as he used to.

any/all storylines/interaction would be amazing! my aim is flamesplummet; I may not be on there for the next couple of weeks, but I'll do my best :) again, very sorry to have not been around, but I am VERY EXCITED to be here now.

HI EVERYONE. I'm sorry I'm so late with my introduction, but I was in Seattle over the weekend celebrating my grandmother's 75th birthday, so the internet was not a priority. Anyway, hello! My name is Megan and I will be bringing you the oh-so-exuberant Geoffrey Hooper!

Geoffrey is a 7th year Gyrffindor, reserve keeper for his house team and a Very Silly Boy. Life is too short to take it so seriously all of the time, so if something is funny, he's going to laugh and if he can get someone who's feeling down to smile, you know he's going to do it. You can read more about Geoffrey HERE, but the basics are that he's very cheerful, likes to poke at Slytherins/people who take themselves too seriously, and he figured out he wants to be a Healer/Mediwitch after the battle.

Wheee! I'm super-excited to play this character and I hope you will all love (to hate) her too. I'm Alison (Dean, Wayne, Sally) and this is Jade - you can call her Jade or J or JD (pronounced Jadey) or, if you hate her, Jadist. She used to be a nice enough, quietish, Ravenclaw girl, but she was essentially turned to the Dark Side of the Force by the Carrows. If you were at school last year, she probably tortured you and loved it. She's kind of sickened by herself, but she misses it a hell of a lot too. She'll be making nice this year, or trying to, but she'll get defensive real quickly. Her bio is here if you want to read it, but if you can't be bothered (and to be honest I usually can't), just assume she was mean to your character and now they hate her, kay? Unless you're also a Voldemort-sympathiser.

someone to have dragged her away from the battle to the Ravenclaw common room, for whatever reason
someone to have petrificus totallused her to stop her sneaking back
other prefects to look down on her

Oh, and it would be super-awesome if someone picked up Hilary Rice. Jade used to be a prefect, but was understandably stripped of the title this year and HATES the girl who has it instead of her, especially if she's muggle-born.

Ahem. Yeah, so he's not the most popular guy in the fandom, but hey.

Weasleys! Step up! Percy's a bit traumatised by the fact that he popped in to the final battle long enough to get his brother killed, so he's trying to pull a disappearing act again.

Penelope! We shall continue our conversation in character, young lady. In some form or another.

Ministry people...best steer clear, he's in a foul mood lately. This includes the Minister and his 'probations' and his clear fondness for stabbing the most loyal employees in the back. *glare*

Otherwise, I don't expect much of a response for poor unliked Percy, but if anyone has any notions towards befriending the boy, or particularly hating him, or any of those other things, tell me!

Hello again! Time for me (Heather) to introduce to you my second character, Jason Samuels. ravenclawjase if you want to look at him in detail. He's the seventh year Ravenclaw male prefect, and year-mates who are in group 7B for History of Magic, Charms, Transfiguration, Arithmancy or Ancient Runes will see him pretty often. You won't find him on a broom, though, because he's notoriously a terrible flier.

On a personal note he's a pretty cheerful and friendly sort of person who is approachable about most things. He's half South African - mum is a witch who attended a girls' academy in Cape Town, now a model, who appears in mostly magical ad campaigns (but sometimes works for Muggles) and has three siblings - an older brother and sister, and a younger sister, Larissa, going into fourth year. The family are pureblooded and have been in Ravenclaw going WAY back. They're from a part of Lancashire none-too-far away from Pendle which is almost like a British Salem, so in a way they're pretty brave!

Reagarding the war, although he wasn't in the DA he supported their aims and helped to cause a lot of trouble for the Carrows - being of mixed nationality the idea of someone being demeaned for having mixed blood REALLY riles him. He has a couple of scars from those detentions, but no biggie. The final battle was pretty bad for him though - his dad was one of the parents who entered the castle to fight, and being of age at the time, Jason stayed to fight with him. An unidentified/masked Death Eater got his father with a killing curse right before his eyes, and he's still pretty shaken about that because he idolised his dad.

Anyway, plotty-wise, what I'm looking for is:

General acquaintances - friends, enemies, all that kind of thing. If you can think of a connection then let me at it!

A DA connection - someone who would have let him know about things like sabotaging the Carrows' punishments, writing messages on walls etc. Filling in the missing info about who killed his father might also be a good bit of knowledge to have, so ideas/suggestions on that front would be great!

Romantic interest/s - he's not as clueless with girls as Kevin is so an ex being around might be interesting!

Counsellor - Hayley, if Penelope has free client space, I have Jason plotted down as seeing a counsellor so perhaps she may be his?

Okay! So Bee here with her fourth and final character: Melinda Bobbin.
Mel’s a 7th year Slytherin and well as bit on the ambivalent side about the war. Mostly she’s just happy to save her own arse, though she does believe in the purity of blood. Melinda’s step-father, Alastair Bobbin owns the chains of apothecaries in both Diagon and Hogsmeade, so even if people don’t know her, they may know her family. Her history’s spelt out here, but basically Mel’s family has ties to the DEs, and she’s the daughter of Wilkes who was killed in the first war, though her step father had no real involvement in the war (one Galleon’s as gold as the next).

Melinda’s not overly studious, and a bit of a gossip, though she’ll be friendly one moment and more than happy to stab the person in the back the next! She’s actually pretty friendly for a Slytherin, and fairly bouncy so she may just talk to everyone. Melinda’s also got a sister who’s a 7th year Hufflepuff, so she may know some of the 7th years who aren’t Slytherin.
I’m also hoping that Melinda’s a part of the more ‘popular’ crowd, at least in Slytherin, as she was one of Pansy’s little group of girls. I know she was played before, so I’m more than happy to work out friendships, though her personality’s fairly different. She’s still cousins with Amanda Burke (and good friends with her!)

I also thought I’d give the storylines thing a shot, as not having them has made it harder for my other kids. Anyway, they’re here and are probably rubbish, so I’m honestly open for anything. I'd love to work out any backstories past/future friendships/enemies/flings/relationships whatever. Oh! and Melinda's bisexual, so I'd really love to be able to work out something with that.

I have to say, that this has been my most curious start into a game since...forever. I get accepted (and go YAY!) and a moment later real life goes crazy – hence the loooong time until I actually get to introduce myself here.

Hello everyone!

I'm a newbie to this game, but I know at least two or three of you - my name's Heather and I was in Hogwarts Blogs on LJ with Hayley and Alison, and Euterpe's Corner (also LJ) with Hayley and possibly more of you... there's certainly some familiar names!

I'm 25 and I'm a primary school teacher in Cumbria in the north west of England, and I've been reading Harry Potter since the year before Order of the Phoenix came out. I'm currently doing supply/absence cover work so I'm available weekends, weekday evenings and certain weekdays, depending on when I'm called in to work. I am bringing to you Kevin Whitby, a Hufflepuff going into his fifth year at Hogwarts. He's a Yorkshire boy from a pureblood family, and has a younger sister, Maya, who is in her second year (also Puff) and a younger brother called Liam, who will attend Hogwarts next year. His optional subjects are COMC and Muggle Studies, and he has always wanted to try out for the Quidditch team, but has never had the guts to.

With regards to the war, he is still struggling somewhat with a bad injury to his non-wand arm, and is rather bitter that his father, whom he adores, suffered injuries in the Battle of Hogwarts whilst protecting younger students who'd snuck back into the castle to fight. Andrew Summerby - puffseeker Andy is a 1998 Hufflepuff and was seeker for the Puff Quidditch team after Cedric died. He'll be returning to Hogwarts this term to finish up his classes/NEWTs, because last year definitely didn't prepare him to take them. He really just wants to trial for one of the pro teams, but pressure from family + some of his friends going back = back to school. Andy is friendly and energetic and he has this quirky little love affair with numbers. He's also a bit of a flirt, though he's more of a serial monogamist when it comes to actually doing more than just flirting. Andy needs friends, past/current/future dating possibilities, cousins, enemies, etc, so hit me up for whatever. I'm open to anything!

Chelsea Montgomery - littlechels Chelsea is a fifth year Ravenclaw and TOMORROW is actually her 15th birthday :o! Exciting, right? Ryan Stebbins is her older half-brother and she would LOVELOVELOVE if someone were to app for her older sister. Just saying. Anyway, Chels is a people watcher. She's fascinated by muggle psychology and how things and people work. She's a little on the quiet/responsible side, but that doesn't mean she doesn't know how to have fun or get into trouble. She just tends to keep her "trouble" well hidden, because she's a bit of a people pleaser when it comes to her parents, so she likes to come across as the good girl. She HATES werewolves after what happened to her little brother, but she was a lot quieter about her werewolf/Voldy hate while the Carrows and Snape were in charge, because she didn't want anything to happen to what was LEFT of her family. Chelsea needs just about everything -- her sister, friends, enemies, frenemies, romantic potential both past/current/future -- anything you want to throw at her.

He's that Muggle-medicine crazed trainee Healer from OotP and has become a full-fledged Healer some time ago. hi all! i'm maya and right now i'm too tired to be buggered with a long intro so i'll be quick about this and edit it in the morning. i'm from the west coast, i like harry potter, i'm an english major, and i just graduated from university so basically i have no life. hooray? :P anyway, i present to you the most esteemed and awkward DYLAN SUMMERS.

i know, i know, you're thinking to yourself, 'who is this chap? i've never heard of him before...' and right you are. dylan mostly kept to himself at hogwarts, aside from his brother and other hufflepuffs, and is extremely passionate about photography. he takes pictures for the daily prophet and is currently trying to find a flat to share with his brother liam. uhm...he's quiet, awkward with small talk, super funny when he opens up, and unafraid to do what's right. if you want a more in-depth description of him you can always check this out (please do!! i spent forever writing it). right now i'm looking to fill the role of his brosef (liam summers - 23 years old), some co-workers from the prophet, friends from back in the dizzle at hogwarts, and a girl that he can pine after and be awkward around.

Howdy!

I'm Lena and I'm bringing in Ron Weasley and Katie Bell. :D

I see a few familiar faces, but for those of you who don't know me, I'm 36, I live in Florida, I work for Apple and have awesomely weird retail hours, so most of my best logging tends to be on my days off and I have an adorable siamese cat named Narcissa. I'm also slightly addicted to RP and don't be surprised if I end up at the character max at some point, because I can't resist new shiny headvoices.

As for Ron and Katie, this is my first time playing Ron and I'm really looking forward to him. I'm happy to keep any old plot and start up new stuff, so just poke at me and I'm sure we can work something out.

I'm open to the same with Katie, so if there's any old plot or new plot that needs making/keeping, hit me up. I'm generally open to anything when it comes to plot and my Katie is pretty friendly until you've crossed her, so I'd say there's lots of potential for interaction as long as you never played Quidditch for Slytherin.

Ash/Errin here with my 3rd character! Wow so many girls. I usually have all boys. Wtf. Her name is Leanne Ryan and she was in the same Year (and same House!) as Katie Bell. In fact, they were buddies of a sort (Katie player, you are welcome to IM me @ eden0renewed anytime you wish).

Here is what you might like to know about Leanne:

-> She comes from an Irish family.

-> Her mother is a Pureblood and her father is a Muggleborn.

-> Her mother's family abandoned them because of her father's bloodline.

-> Leanne loves to read/write and watch Quidditch. (She would love to play, but she wasn't blessed with "the talent".)

-> She was in Gryffindor during her School term and she was apart of the DA.

-> She was right beside Katie when she was cursed by the necklace.

-> She did fight in the last battle and she did suffer some memory loss (which caused her to spend some time in St. Mungo's).

-> Leanne is currently working on becoming a full Auror.

-> She lives in Cambridge and has a cat named Merlin.

Hi all!

So here's my third character (and first boy, yay!) Miles Bletchley.

• Slytherin, finished Hogwarts in 1997 so he wasn't around for the whole battle or anything
• Mostly because his Mum has this (what Miles calls her delusions of grandeur) idea of him being Minister or something like it, despite Miles' repeated nay-saying.... which apparently at the time mean 'go and make nice with the big bad death eaters'... Cause apparently the Flourishes [flourishs?] are Pro Purists without actually publicly supporting Voldemort...
• Which is the complete opposite to the Bletchley's, since with the company they'd be stupid to only rely on properly magical folk for the work. Thus making for an absolutely looooovely homelife for Miles... only you know, not.
• He has two siblings, fraternal twins, Gwendolen Mair and Jolyon Amadeus... soon to be Slytherin 6th Years.
• Currently the Reserve Keeper for the Caerphilly Catapults... and I'm sure you're thinking '...wait, he's not welsh!' The way I figured it is that his 'hometown' of Ludlow is only about 10-15 miles from the Welsh border... so yeah. Though obviously if ever comes the day of playing in the world cup obviously he'd be playing for England. Well, that and I kind of had the feeling that he has some Welsh ancestry, hence the naming practices...
• Has his own flat.... even if it is too big just for him alone with no roommate.
• ... Oh yeah he was the Chaser* Keeper for Slytherin from 1991-1997... except obviously when the triwizard tournament was on. lol

Alison here, with character number three. This is Salome Breeze Harmony Spinks - call her Sal or Sally please. Eldest child of hippies, Sal is the antithesis of her parents - uptight, materialistic, obsessive-compulsive and driven by anxiety. She's actually a nice girl, if shes not lecturing you on how to do something or freaking out. She's Slytherin, year above the trio, but talks to anyone. No-one ever matches up to her standards so she won't hold it against you, whether you're messy, mudblood, stupid - whatever, you know. No-one's perfect - but boy, does Sally want to be! Those of you who've played with me before may recognise her as my Patricia, except black and with a new brother.

In fabulously bad timing I have to go get a trans-atlantic flight now, lol, so I'll be back to reply in a day or so. Check out her bio for more info if you want. She needs friends, enemies, ex-boyfriends, crushes etc. etc.

it's mckenzie again. :D this time with hufflepuff's resident ray of sunshine. you know, zacharias smith. the guy who was last seen gently maneuvering himself through the mass of underage witches and wizards to save himself. that guy.

he's at a really weird, irrational place in his mind right now. ernie's gone, and he's not sure if he's about to lose the 'friends' he had for skipping out on the battle. so he's trying to be at least mildly pleasant (as nice as he CAN be, anyway). unless your name is justin finch-fletchley. because logically, it's your fault he's dead (OBVIOUSLY). he would've gone to ernie's funeral, but that's the most he's gone out since the battle. anything else important would be here.

zacharias needs lots of enemies. a few friends too, but. mostly enemies. emotionally abused ex-girlfriends (only pure-bloods need apply). people that he made cry as children. stuff like that.

i'm still laughing octopi on aim if anyone wants to talk plot! i haven't come up with any specific ideas yet but i'm definitely working on it.

ALSO MIKELL: just to avoid confusion, would zacharias be allowed to read entries charmed private to the da? or does his desertion exclude him? he might actually come to a meeting at this point. not because he's an advocate for wizard's rights, but because ernie's dead, and he's feeling pretty vengeful.

Bee here (Theo and Mandy's player) with her third kid, Sophia Roper. She's a Hufflepuff, class of 1998 though she's not leaving school like most of her year. It'll probably be easier to do a bullet-point list so here goes:

* Muggleborn; spent the last year abroad studying for her A-levels and generally trying not to panic. Sophia was abroad so she would likely not have found out about the end of the war unless someone told her.

* Posh; she's actually styled Lady Sophia Emmeline Roper - her dad's an earl and outside of the wizarding world, she's got just about everything she could ever want. With that comes a general snobbish attitude, which I imagine has been toned down A LOT since being sorted in Hufflpeuff. Still I imagine she'd get teased quite a bit for her accent and pronunciation.

* Studious but not smart; Sophia wants to make her family proud so she works hard in her courses, she's just not very smart.

* Naive; Sophia's still very trusting, mostly because of her sheltered home life. She's very pliable and can easily manipulated; if anyone wants to that'd be brilliant!

* Friendly; Amazingly friendly and super up-beat, Sophia will be nice to just about anyone. She may be slightly more cautious after she hears what happened, but she'll still babble to anyone.

* Fashion/Shopping nut; Sophia's a little obsessed really, and plans to open her own line one day once she convinces her mum and dad that it's better than business.

• Nine siblings. They put the Weasley's to shame. Out of ten children, Morag and her older brother Torrey are the only ones to attend Hogwarts.
• Animal lover and agricultural enthusiast.
• Raised to be self-sufficient. The MacDougals live in a family-operated commune that relies on subsistence farming and fishing.
• Stubborn tomboy with no designs on an arranged marriage or becoming the next MacDougal breeding machine.
• Hebridean Blacks are ♥.
