Yep. I bet you thought I was dead, didn't you?


Well actually, you'd be right. I just got through four weeks of midterms... with what looks like three more to come. Working three to four hours overtime every day for the past two weeks. And I did it all..... without my computer.

Yes, that's right, my laptop committed suicide.

Being the poor college student that I am there was no new laptop to be had. Luckily a family member had an old one... so here I am. Alive again.

That doesn't excuse the fact that I didn't notify anyone, I know.. I'm sorry... but I get paranoid about what I do on the monitored school computers.


So yeah. Here's the DL, I'm not going to be amazing active. Like no five threads a week. But, one or two, yes, that's manageable. And I probably don't know a bunch of you now. So hi, I'm Kate. UGH. So, I'm super, super sorry for being MIA lately.

Long Story Short: I did the whole moving thing, then I got appendicitis and had to get my appendix out, then school started...

Short Story Long: School is kicking my ASS. Hardcore. I'm taking Arabic and it's like four or five hours of studying in a day, FOR ONE CLASS. So yeah, I'm crazy busy.


How this Pertains to You: I'm going to take a hiatus for another week, that's a long estimate I may jump in sooner. I'm going to get my schedule ironed out and find me some free time. Then I'm going to app another character get my character up to par.

For those of you who are new or who don't have any idea who I am because I've been missing for so long, I'm Kate, I love you. This is Terence, he's ok with you.

I just don't have time to reply to intros, so if you want something with Terence Higgs, sex preferred, then please drop a note here and I'll get to it over the weekend. He's Oliver Wood's age, is protective of Scarlett Capper and Marrietta though they rarely need it, BFFs with Marcus Flint and an all around boozer. Also, he may or may not be a vampire, you never know. Also, he is Slytherin but he's not as .. uh, unfriendly as Marcus. He's generally a live and let live guy, but he is very sarcastic. Also, he used to be a pretty big quidditch star and played with Oliver. Also... no that's it.

Howdy! I'm Kate(aim:wontkissyoukate), and I'm neeew. I'm an anthropology/comparative literature double major (aka; poor-ass-student). And um.. I like movies with Paul Giamatti in them. The end.

Also new, Terence Higgs.

Some basic facts about Terence:

&Slytherin, class of '94
&Seeker for the Slytherin team until 92' (Draco Malfoy took over after him, money talks) (last two years he continued to practice with the team)
&played for Puddlemere United from 94-97 as Seeker, in 97 he took a Bludger fell a couple hundred feet and broke both legs, his pelvis and his spine (this was due to general distraction and havoc caused by a Dark Mark in the sky)
&no longer plays, still walks with a slight limp
&Purist, sort-of. He doesn't like muggles and pities muggleborns, but he wasn't a Death Eater and is a little repulsed by all of the senseless violence they committed. Purebloods would consider him as one of those who had been aligned with Voldemort, but unless he was proclaiming loyalty to keep himself alive he didn't and still doesn't like politics, so it's possible he's friends with people who don't agree with those views. (He's also kind of changing his views now, since the war.. but it's slow going.)
&On that note, his father's in jail, his father was a Death Eater but worked more as a Ministry patsy than as a big torturer/murderer.
&his mother runs Higgs Hearts a charity for foster families, there will probably be galas in the future and other fundraisers.. because there's more orphans now
&Obliviator, from 97 until present, it's unclear whether he'll be fired or not due to his father being a Death Eater and therefore being rather suspicious, so kind of looking for a new job
&personality-wise, he's a good friend, fun to be around, his humor's more on the sarcastic side and he often comes across as rude to those who don't know him well, but he can be very charming if he wants to, generally he doesn't
&guy's guy, he likes quidditch, beer and chips, and sex

So yeah, old teammates (Slytherin or Puddlemere), old fans, old classmates, pureblood associates(also known as friends), old flings, other friends, enemies, fellow Ministry employees.. all are welcome, all are welcome. Also I'm open to him having a flatmate, he lives in London.
