[Just as evening starts to fall, one of the parks in Sector 4 has been festooned with streamers, bright lights in a variety of colors, a big upraised dais, tables of refreshments, and music. It looks like a perfectly normal party from the outside. Optional masks are provided in little bins beside the dais, but you're responsible for your own costumes...!

[Now you know you would have gotten some major crap from Kairi had you just stood around all evening, Axel. At least from the usual Kairi. Of course, the moment she stepped into the park wearing this little number, things were a little different.

Her footsteps were light and docile, walking with a timid yet purpose firm with calm. Something that fell away when she noticed someone stumbling around, mumbling something or other. She approached him until they were at arm's length. Reaching out vaguely. Not touching his shoulder but coming close.]
