I'll make this short... [ Since, of all the things Touma does not like airing out over the network, sadness is one of them. Not that he's particularly obvious about it, but those who have known him for longer can probably tell that something is amiss even before he opens his mouth again. ] I don't know how many friends Misaka had here in Marina, but... she's gone now.

[ And even though it's hard not to blame his bad luck, that has to be part of it, right? Right. ] Sorry.

Enjoy the snow, or whatever. [ And Touma just hangs up there, to return to drowning his sorrow moodiness in food at the ramen shop. ]

[At first, it may be difficult to make out the pale figure against the backdrop of snow, but as one draws closer, important details fall into place: the pointed, erect ears; the lean body covered in sleek, silver fur; the gleaming red eyes; and four tails snaking through the air as though they have a life of their own. With the restraints gone, Kurama has chosen to test what abilities are now available to him, and can be found in one of the parks in Sector Four in his native form, that of a four-tailed fox. Perhaps someone will put two-and-two together and realize that he is in fact the red-haired youth who arrived the day before; perhaps he will instead be assumed to be another individual entirely. Either way, he's warm enough with his thick coat of fur, and keen to learn what limitations may have been placed on this form by Acumen.]

[ooc: Kurama only told one person he was a youko, so Naoya should be the only character who could figure out right away that the fox is Kurama, I think. Anyone else would have to go on hints given today, if he bothers to give them at all.]

[somehow, Flynn ended up promising a certain Xerxes Break flowers and a cake. so this morning he meanders over to the park and surveys the gardens leisurely, walking through them and ducking down conscientiously to pick some of the flowers every now and again, slowly arranging a generous bouquet]

[once he has his flowers picked out, he heads to the shelter kitchen and finds a nice cup to put them in with a little water. then he gets out all the ingredients to start baking a cake from scratch. he decides there's no need for the cookbook. he knows how cakes are made, after all]

[he'll just... modify the recipe a little...]

[and when he's done, it'll be time to go find Break and present him with his rewards!]

Right. So, I've been meaning to ask something. Just... it's a bit weird.

You know how loads of people here have powers that are restricted, yeah? I was sort of wondering if mine might be, now that chain things off.

See, back home... when people touch me, they want to shag me. And I really don't want to have to be avoiding everyone if it turns out I don't have to.

[The view from the communicator shows a dimly lit bedroom, as far as anyone can tell. The camera seems to be angled toward the foot of a futon, one buried beneath several layers of thick blankets. The sole source of light appears to be a window against one wall. A harsh cough interrupts the quiet of the room. The communicator must be resting on the futon, because it starts shaking in time with the coughs. It's hard to tell if the occupant of the room meant to begin a transmission and was forced to abandon it because of the coughing fit, or if he somehow struck the communicator during an earlier fit and turned it on. A curtain of white hair swings forward, obscuring the camera's view as the coughing becomes worse.]
