[Action: Open – Sector 2 Library]

[If you're in the library, #10032 has found herself a table in the corner and somehow amassed a pile of gaudy teen magazines around her. Yes, teen magazines – those pop culture-laden pieces of paper directed toward the raging hormones of the adolescent. She was busy talking to some newcomers yesterday and didn't really get a chance to listen/join in on anyone's prom talks, so she decided to take the task upon herself to find something out at the library.

Naturally, most of the magazines strewn about are open to articles on just about anything one would want to know about prom – how to get a date, what to wear, how to initiate the perfect post-prom makeout session- ...yeah. Stuff like that.

Anyway, she's flipping through yet another one right now, reading whatever she happened to find.]

[Audio: Filtered to Touma Kamijou]

[So that's why everyone kept talking about asking people and going with others to prom yesterday. And here she thought it was just people preferring to travel in groups.]

'Touma Kamijou.' MISAKA would like to ask something.

[To his credit; he did not panic as much as would be expected by people that knew him.

However, this is not mean he didn't panic at all. Rather, instead of a pitiful fit of whining; unfortunate listeners were treated to a scream of rage as he pulled at the chain on the sturdy iron ball that was shackled to his foot.

The only reason the video had even been turned on was he thought some kind of error had occurred; he'd been in mid conversation only to find himself with the feed turned off, and out of reflex had tried reconnecting before he'd even noticed the addition to his wardrobe, as well as his giftbasket mysteriously returned to where it had been, and unopened.

Grunting and panting in near-manic frustration, as the ball inconvenienced him greatly, and was even more so ugly, he jabbed the video and audio buttons to end the feed.

[ It's not like he hasn't gotten acclimated. That is, if getting acclimated is avoiding contact with anyone and everyone. From the moment the welcome letter had flashed before his eyes, he knew he was hopelessly and utterly lost. AR had searched various corners of the facility over the past couple of hours, and while he had found nothing he deemed of importance, it made him feel a little better for some reason. The key words being, of course, a little..]

[But now he was finally meandering out of his comfort zone, trying to figure out plenty of things and exactly why this was happening. The entire situation was strange and unpleasant.]

[After a while - a long while - he decides to finally flip on the communicator.]

It has come to my attention that this is indeed a prison.

[There's a pause]

Seeing that, I request that anyone who can give me more information about this ridiculous situation should do so as soon as possible.

[ There's a good bit of hesitation in his voice and any sort of confidence seems forced and unnatural. The dersite is uncomfortable. It shows. ]

[ when the camera switches on, it peers out to the view of a table and several pieces of wood. they're varying colors and sizes, and to add to the variety, there's a few different kinds of blades, tools for carving wood. two hands are in front of the feed, carving something into what seems to be cork. by the position of the camera, which seems to be looking out in view of knees and arms, the communicator is probably dangling from a lanyard on his neck.

he has a little bit of trouble carving out one part of the rounded star design he's making--the design is on the table. he sighs finally, giving it a look over. when he finally does round off one of the tips, it goes soaring and ricohets off of the table and into the trash can. ]

... point. [ he smirks, though unseen. he takes the communicator from its position, probably to check the time or entries, and eyes the blinking red light.

Riku doesn't look to be well, either--he looks a little green, a little sick, under the weather. maybe that's why he's inside? ]

Anyone know if there's someone who can fix these? Mine keeps switching on whenever it wants since yesterday. [ when he, uh, dropped it. ]

[If you happen to be out and about this fine day, you might happen to see a rather odd sight: one (1) small red dragon, about a foot tall, a set of oversized binoculars clutched in his small claws. He might be lying on a tree branch, or lurking on that street corner, or perhaps even peering out at you from behind those bushes.

His mission?

Be Howard Link Find and locate one (1) Allen Walker, and proceed to follow his movements for the rest of the day, possibly even the rest of the week. Why? Because Cross bullied harassed blackmailed told him to.

Feel free to catch him as he roams across the dome. Mushu's never been a very good spy, and his bright coloring makes him stand out rather obviously.]

((ooc: he'll be at this all day, so feel free to bump into him at any time of the day and any location!))

[once the line is open she hesitates, like so many times before she finally had the courage to click the button. Anew quickly double-checks the filter, takes a deep breath,]

Does anyone mind answering a question for me? I know it's a little personal -- [just say it]

Is it a hard thing for you to stand up for yourself?

[While #10032 showed up around the same time as the other new inmates, she hasn't made much of an effort to get to know or contact anyone at the asylum. Why? She's been too fascinated by what the city-like prison has to offer. She read the brochure, so she's vaguely aware that this is a place she shouldn't want to be in, but at the same time, she doesn't want to object her placement here just yet.

Even among her shared memories, this is her first time outside of Academy City. Her first time experiencing a place outside of what she's used to. Despite how it's still similar to her home with the numerous bots and the high technological influence, it's still a new environment. So she's spent the last day toting around her welcoming basket (and still toting it around), curiously observing everything she comes by, albeit, with a straight face.

But what's catching her attention right now is sector 2's pet cafe -- so many animals in one place, she doesn't know where to start! She keeps her distance, kneeling by the edge of the animals' roaming area, trying to call them over. Unfortunately, any animal that comes within a reachable range stares at the girl's hand fearfully, then runs back towards where it comes from.]

[[ooc: Feel free to approach her, whether it's about the animals, the welcome basket, or anything else your character feels like noticing! Since she's been wandering, you're welcome to be creative and run into her anywhere else -- just state it in the subject!]]
