[The view from the communicator shows a dimly lit bedroom, as far as anyone can tell. The camera seems to be angled toward the foot of a futon, one buried beneath several layers of thick blankets. The sole source of light appears to be a window against one wall. A harsh cough interrupts the quiet of the room. The communicator must be resting on the futon, because it starts shaking in time with the coughs. It's hard to tell if the occupant of the room meant to begin a transmission and was forced to abandon it because of the coughing fit, or if he somehow struck the communicator during an earlier fit and turned it on. A curtain of white hair swings forward, obscuring the camera's view as the coughing becomes worse.]

You are misunderstanding my point. Perhaps whatever it is that you have is effecting more than your lungs. I am Raistlin Majere, the Master of Present and Past in my world, at least, if not in all realms. I am a very powerful wizard, forced to live in a crippled body because they feared me so. This imprisonment by Acumen is nothing. Yet, my foolish brother found it necessary to lend me his strength, to care for me, even when I no longer required his assistance and tried to tell him so.

Your business is your own. I am not going to pry into your life, nor do I have any interest. I find it hard to believe that anyone can live without the care of another if even I had someone following after me. I trust that you...[here, his voice almost sneered] probably have a dear friend looking after you in concern.

	My ... condition ... has been seen to by healers more than qualified to assess its severity and the appropriate treatments. [At home, at least, and Ukitake long ago accepted that there is little that can be done for him, save to treat the attacks as they come.] (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
