DAY 347 : Haunted Hotel Mingle

[You have a lot of baggage for your stay. Not the kind you stuff free robes and toiletries into. No, the kind of baggage that helps drive the sort of scenarios you experience. Your fears and your hang ups. Or maybe not everything is about you after all and you have a perfectly random, horrific time. Either way, the adventure starts now. Ring the bell for service.]

Of course. There are people who don't? [There's a facetiousness to it that suggests, well, of course she knows some people don't like it. She snickers and folds her hands casually behind her neck and shifting her weight to swing her hips out a bit.]

That's not all I enjoy doing, of course.

[Awkwardly and inappropriately flirting gives her something to do other than stand around looking at pretend corpses.]

[The weird spot is supposed to be a door, but it appears to have hinges on both sides. This renders it very ineffective at being a door.]

Oh?

Are you suggesting we try?

[You know... among the dead bodies. Duo tapped at the hinges for a moment, seeing them on both sides, then started working at one of the pins. If he could get them out of one side, then it would swing open on the other... theoretically.]

I could be.

[Among the dead bodies. Not that it's exactly an exciting thought, but it would definitely be a distraction.]

[She bumps into him and is forced to open her eyes. She looks down at what he's doing—picking at the pin looks like he's removing a bone from someone's body—and she looks away before she loses the contents of her stomach.]

What are you doing?

This door has hinges on both sides, so I'm trying to pull the pins on one side and, theoretically, that should let us open the door.

One would hope... but you never know around here.

It's pretty stuck in there, though.

[He tried twisting and pulling, hoping to work it free.]
