[Tieria raised his makeshift club to defend, but he knew he wasn't going to get in a blow on it. It was supernaturally fast, which was highly disturbing, but he never felt the blow.

Slowly, he opened his eyes, not really remembering when it was he actually closed them during the moment, and looked around. It was gone.

Maybe... He noticed he could see his breath suddenly.]

What was that?

[Tieria wasn't sure he wanted to keep moving forward. But they weren't at a junction here, and there were only two options. He shivered a little at a very unnatural chill that just raced up his spine. This wasn't a normal cold. That he could tolerate, thanks to being designed for outerspace living. This was something completely different. Moving away from it, even if it was forward, seemed like a good idea. He swallowed hard against the nausea and shakily nodded his head.]

Very well.

[It was hard to make himself move, but he did, taking a few tentative steps forward.]

[It wasn't that Lyle was really looking forward to continuing down the hall way, but he had the strangest feeling that something was staring at him from behind. There was a a chill running up his spine and a strangely heavy feeling only feet away]

[Tieria wouldn't think of Lyle having done it, not after whatever that was that happened before. He shivered again, feeling goosebumps across his skin, and rubbed a little at the stinging still present on his side.

But, he was a little curious and worried. He untucked his shirt and lifted it up a little.]

Is something there?

[He couldn't see it himself from this angle, but Lyle might be able to see something. There was definitely a scratch... a few in fact, like a cat had attacked him with claws.]
