[The ghosts aren't a problem. He can shoo them away, tell them to shut it. They give him dirty looks, but they have to listen. He sent one ahead to look for a way out, but it never came back. No, the ghosts aren't a problem.

It's that there's a thumping - it's not a heartbeat, it's not. And the light is too dim to really tell what's ahead, but walls look pinkish, and they feel soft. He tries not touch them, but the floor shifts sometimes, and his heart flies into his throat, and he needs to hold onto something for balance, and he swears the walls move. But it's not flesh, it's just wallpaper. That's all it is.]

I'm okay, I'm okay, I'm okay...

[Are there sounds up ahead? He pulls his sword free and gets ready to strike whatever monster is lurking here.]
