	[As you round a corner a ghostly figure leaps out at you! A ghostly figure that, upon closer inspection looks suspiciously like a bed sheet with eye holes cut in it, one of which is glowing red. [Kitty's been on high alert from the moment she woke up. She's moving through the hall looking for other inmates and cautious of whatever else she might find. She turns a corner when suddenly a figure is leaping toward her.]

(1) [Kitty's first instinct is to phase, moving through him—and to her surprise—automatically disrupting the electronic elements of his body. It wasn't a sensation she was expecting and her eyes widen.] Ton?

(2) [And that's when he gets a gut full of being kicked! Oops? She can always smack him later.]

(3) [Kitty's body tenses, ready for battle and or phasing at his appearance, but there is a certain Ton-ness that gives him away.] There is something deeply wrong with you.

(OOC: Choose one! I couldn't decide which direction to go with or how far it would be okay to take it, so I figured I'd do this and let you decide.)

[There's something that feels a little eerie here, a weird sense of deja vu or an odd sensation of being in more than one place at the same time. Or maybe it's just the general creepy atmosphere of his place because surely that can't be happening.]

(1) [He staggers, every electronic component in his body making a sound that is decidedly Not Good. A few sparks even flicker beneath the bed sheet along with a sharp whine of static. He ends up slumped on the ground against the wall, still trapped under the sheet, momentarily stunned and certainly not able to come up with a snappy retort.]

(2) [Luckily he was anticipating the possibility of violence here and manages to hop back a bit. She still makes contact but it's not enough to do any real damage, just get a sort of "oof" noise and a breathless laugh.]

Why would you even think kicking a ghost would work?

(3) [He looks a little disappointed as he pulls he sheet off.] Yes, hello, Ton Phanan. I thought we'd met.

(1) [She drops down beside him, quickly pulling the sheet up, without her phasing in case she's right and it is him. Don't be Ton, don't be Ton, don't be... It's him. She reaches up—solidly—to touch his face.] Come on, talk to me.

(2) What makes you think I didn't know it was you? [There's a little smirk, but no, she hadn't been sure who it was, but she was relatively sure it wasn't a ghost.]

(3) Mmhmm. That's a good way to get yourself short-circuited or kicked you know. [Almost like she could sense it had happened once upon a time somehow.]

[He's still breathing under the sheet it otherwise pretty out of it, as if most of the hardware in his brain is doing a momentary reboot. He's had worse shocks and pretty recently, too but it's still going to take a minute before he shudders violently a few times hand going up to clutch at his head like he's got a bad headache. He regrets it immediately as some sort of feedback signal between the two causes his artificial hand to twitch painfully and he switches it out for the organic one.]

(2) Because you would never deliberately hurt me. You'd feel terrible about it. [The sort of guilt that would leave her crouched in the hallway over his semi-conscious body, trying to help him.] Save the kicking for the real ghosts.

(3) Neitherlf those things would ever happen to me. [He waves the sheet cheerfully.] I'm a wraith, remember? You can't hurt a wraith.

(1) [She's helped computers and other advanced tech along after giving it a good fry in the past—even alien tech, but this is part of her friend and without knowing more or having any tools on her she doesn't really want to risk it. Instead, she just stays close, taking in every movement and twitch.] It should just be temporary. [Then again, it can cause parts to burn out completely depending on age and construction, but she very firmly wants to believe in temporary right now.]

(2) Oh, is that how it works? [Yeah, that's probably how it works.] I'll keep that in mind next time I kick you. Now, are you ready to be part of the solution and not part of the problem?

(3) You're just a person who is part of a team called wraiths. I do a much better wraith impersonation. In fact, my codename was Sprite for about two seconds back in the day. [She'd explain, "not the soda" but she doesn't expect him to be aware of it anyway.]
