Oh does he ever remember a lot from his future self's life. Of course that doesn't tell him what exactly went down after that self died and burnt to ash. ]

[ He doesn't want people seeing him look all droopy, and well also like death warmed over. Voice mode it is. He's about to speak but ends up just coughing for a minute. ]

... shit. [ Stupid cough. Stupid dying. All of it getting in the way of speaking. ]

Hey, if it wasn't obvious already, I don't think I'll be going on that special field trip after all. Unless coughing all over someone really can take them out. [ He needed more time. It took just that little bit too long to find the bomb. And he had been so ready for the fight too. Sigh. ]

But I- I know you guys can do it. [ At least he hopes so, and it's been a long time since he truly hoped for something. ] I believe in you.

[ It's just after dark when the video feed starts. The view is of a nice looking park ... nice except for the creepy fog rolling in and the dark beings coming up out of the ground and wandering around. ]

Hey guys. Those are the Heartless. [ It's like a nature documentary up in here. ] They're from the universe I'm from. [ Yes, he sounds legitimately angry and upset about it. It's obviously his fault they're around. He's the only keyblade wielder in the city. They're drawn to it, and to him. So that means he's put an entire city's worth of people in danger just because he was transported here just a week ago. ]

There's a bunch of different types but so far it looks like just these ones are around. They can take your heart so watch out. But you can fight them. You can.

They're not going to take this world too.

[ Not if he can help it. And speaking of fighting- the video shakes slightly as he tightens his grip. Some of the Shadows have spotted him, their bright yellow eyes staring. Now he was already going to wipe them out after his video but now? No. These are going to be an example for everyone. He quickly sets the phone onto a lightpost base before stepping forward, his right hand held out to his side. There's a flash of light as his keyblade materializes.

With an angry yell he rushes forward, blade slashing at several in a row with practiced precision. All the Heartless in the area head toward him, a swarm of darkness dotted with bright yellow. It's a fairly big swarm for one person. But he's not phased one bit, never faltering as he cuts them down. He even brings out a bit of magic, yelling 'FIRE' as he summons a ring of fire that circles around him for several moments. The weaker Shadows don't stand a chance and with a final sweeping slash he gets rid of the last one.

There. For now this park is safe again. He rests the keyblade on his shoulder as he walks back to his phone. ]

I'm gonna go around the city and get rid of as many as I can. If you need help just find somewhere safe and call me! I ... don't know where everything is still but I'll find you. I promise. [ He nods before cutting the feed. ]

[ A brand new Honored Guest Edition phone turns on, though the view isn't anything to write home about. Extreme close up of a gloved palm! ]

Upset? I'm not upset! [ Well, the needles were a bit much but he's had worse injuries. The new Honored Guest goes quiet for a minute, only the sounds of his and the escort's footsteps can be heard in what sounds like sand. ]

If this is where I'm needed most right now then it's all right. Did you bring my friends here too? I was with them. Their names are Riku and Kairi.

... oh. Okay. [ His voice sounds sad for just that moment before- ] They'll be fine without me. We'll win this war and I'll be back before they can miss m- hey! [ The escort's footsteps stop abruptly as the robed figure catches sight of a vehicle approaching on the nearby road. It seems like it'll just keep on driving by but the escort isn't about to wait and find out. ] This is as far as I shall take you. Get down. Do not let the Cult see you!

The Cult? Wait, what's the Cul- whoa! [ The escort gives him a hard shove before dashing away. Unfortunately that hard shove is a bit too much for the unprepared teen and instead of falling down behind a bit of cover by a cluster of palm trees, he stumbles right past them, the phone flying out of his hand. It lands at a funky angle partially in the sand, but the view now isn't half bad. Sky and palm tree tops. It'd be fairly peaceful if not for the loud splash.

By the way, the ocean is quite cool this time of year. ]
