THREE BOOKS | video/action
[ There had been the sound of a gun shot a split second before a burning, agonizing pain engulfed her shoulder.
When she had reached out to Rumpelstiltskin, her expression a twisted combination of shock and pain, Belle found that her hands were grasping at air. The world seemed to spin around her as her knees buckled beneath her. One moment she was standing across from her True Love with the town line of Storybrooke between them. The next, she was hitting the ground, hard, of another city entirely. ]
--Miss? Miss! Are you alright?
[ She had hit the sidewalk on her wounded shoulder and had used every ounce of restraint she could muster not to cry out. Briefly she felt disoriented. Her good hand was gripping the shoulder wound as she rolled onto her other side and off it, whimpering with eyes tightly shut. From the pocket of her jacket the phone had fallen out and fell with a clatter beside her. It had switched on the video function by accident and now, though only showing half of her face that wasn't hidden under the mess of russet colored hair.
There was someone hovering over her-- or was it two? Belle could hear their voices but she did not look up. Her mind was too focused on stopping the bleeding. She felt the warmth of her own blood against the palm of her hand as she applied all the pressure she could muster. ]
She's bleeding! I think she's been shot!
She needs to get to the hospital, hurry!
[ It was difficult given that it was the arm the majority of her weight was now on, but somehow Belle had managed to reach out and take hold of the arm closest to her. She grimaced as she opened one eye to look up at the stranger, lifting her head some. ]
Please... just... take me to Mr. Gold's... or Ruby's Diner... This is Mandalus, isn't it? I have to--
You shouldn't go anywhere but the hospital first! You're injured and bleeding.
[ But she refused, shaking her head stubbornly before her head came to rest on the sidewalk again. It was then that someone noticed her phone and the blinking light that signaled it was recording. Whoever it was never showed on the view but the view did shake for a few seconds, the phone being picked up, before the feed was cut off promptly. ]
