[ So it has been extremely on the bund for these past few months. Settling in to a new world, let alone a new city, is very trying on a queen. Especially when it involves matters such as assuming authority over vampires that are not originally of her line. Which means over-writing the genetic code of the leaders agreeing to her terms to remain on the bund so that she can assume full authority over the inhabitants.

And while it has taken this long and has left her to keep quiet on the network for the most part, she was finally able to make a second announcement. With matters more or less under control, the issue of securing steady funding for the bund was now at hand. So what is a queen to do?

Good evening, Mandalus.

I realize we have new guests among us, so allow me to introduce myself: I am Mina Tepes, Queen of all Vampires in my world. And here I have also taken vampires of this world under my care as well, those willing to follow my rules along with the laws of my bund should they choose to live there. If there are any vampires that are new arrivals and would like to take refuge in my home, I welcome you with open arms.

The bund is a safe haven for vampires but now that business has been settled, I would like to open the doors to those who wish to visit my bund to see what it is like. You will see how we tend to my kind and show that it is entirely possible for our races to live peacefully with one another. For those interested, please contact me so that arrangements can be made.

[ During the evening a new addition had been added to the City of Mandalus, just off the south east coast in the ocean. Anyone trying to access the landfill, be it by boat or air, is directed away. No communication comes from it for several hours. It isn't until the evening begins to set in does a public video start to play over the network.

A public broadcast depicting the seemingly young girl in pigtails seated in a chair with a high back appeared in the feed. Normally on either side of her would have been Beowulf soldiers, but when she had discovered her home and returned to it, she had been informed that they were not anywhere on the bund. And they were not the only ones missing. So, for now, standing on either side of her were two vampires, her acting guard. The weight of disappointment she felt when she discovered that neither Akira nor Veratos, or any of those she had considered her closest friends were here weas carefully hidden. The small smile on her lips, her relaxed composure betrayed none of the feelings that dwell within her heart. ]

Good evening, citizens of Mandalus City. You will forgive me for addressing you all like this in light of such a distressing time, but understand that there are matters best dealt with sooner rather than later.

[ Holding her hands together over her lap, she continued to smile into the camera view. ]

As of last night many have tried to come into contact with those who are residing on the landfill that had appeared suddenly this past evening. I am here to assure you that no one here on this bund means you any harm. For you see, my name is Mina Tepes and I am the ruler of all vampires from my world. And this place, this bund, is my property from home. This bund is a safe haven for all vampires to live and many of my subjects have also arrived with it.

Humans are not permitted to enter this land unless permission is cleared by me and me alone. Any vampires that are currently residing in Mandalus are welcome to visit and live here. Housing and stigma will be provided for all who desire to live here in peace. But understand that by choosing to live under my protection I expect you to obey the rules and laws I have set in to place.

All that I ask of the citizens of this city is that you leave my subjects be. Any attacks against them that occur without provocation will be dealt with accordingly. But otherwise, I aim for us to live in peace with one another.

[ She paused to take a moment to lean back in her throne before continuing. ]

[ With that said and done, Mina taps her communicator to her chin and looks around the Business District. There was still a little over an hour before nightfall and the light-blocking gel would last until then. The red-tinted shades resting on the bridge of her knows shielded her eyes from the sun light and still she wore her uniform.

She had plans to do some shopping today but gathering up more information on this city was still her plan. She knew there had to be other vampires here, even if they were not her own subjects. It had been over a day since her last feeding of stigma and she knew she would last another couple of days; But she needed an alternative plan sooner rather than later. The same for the gel.

With a small sigh, she pocketed her communicator and after glancing down at the bracelet on her left wrist, the Vampire Queen headed for the closest shop. ]
