[Prince Charming had finally succumbed to exhaustion, after trying to stay awake as long as possible to keep the Nightmares away from Snow, and the children. So when he did fall asleep, it was leaning against a wall, and his phone slipped from his hand and hit 'dial all'.]

[Which was why all of Mandalus got to hear David when he began to yell.]

No! NO! YOU WILL NOT TAKE HER FROM ME AGAIN! YOU WILL GIVE ME MY WIFE AND YOU WILL GIVE ME MY DAUGHTER! I WILL NOT ALLOW YOU TO DESTROY US AGAIN, GEORGE! NEVER! AGAIN!

[And then there is the sound of a sword, being drawn.]

...I will kill you first.

[At first, you only hear the screams.

There are a lot of 'No no NO!'s, and some, 'SERPENT, STRIKE DOWN THIS -'. Then you hear the sound of flesh rendering, of blood splattering against the wall. You hear bones breaking and the sounds of the dying. And then you hear the soft 'heh heh heh' of someone laughing - laughing as if it was the funniest thing they had ever heard. Hilarious to see the suffering. Then it was suddenly choked off - and a gasp of pain - ]


[Then Castiel's voice, soft and tortured.] ... oh no. no. not again. not again. father, please, not again.

[His face swims into view, splattered with blood, and all around him is a scene of absolutely carnage. Deep underground, cultists lie dead, three deep. Castiel's gaze is desperate, and you can see the black moving under his skin.] Please, please, someone has to kill me. Now. Before they escape again. I cannot allow --

[He stops, suddenly, tilting his head. Then he abruptly disappears. And the phone shuts off.]
