about activity checks

We considered our options and decided to switch the AC requirements to 10 comments per AC round, for the time being. These will still be open once every two months, with other requirements and such remaining the same, check the FAQ for further details.

Please note that requirements for applications have also switched to one thread of five comments total.

That is all for now! Feel free to ask any questions or give any input on this, as always.

rule addition

We'd like you all to check out the applications page, which has two new additions.

First of all, and that one's more easy to see, there's a line in the application template that ask for applicants to explain why their character would be a good addition to the game! It's detailed further there, and keep in mind this isn't a mandatory addition to applications, if you can't think of anything to say there's no need. But we do encourage people to at least give it a thought and consider the kind of CR or developments they could play out, when intending to bring someone over.

Second, the re-app template has an addition that is mandatory: we ask for three ideas for things the character could do upon their return. This doesn't mean it'll be monitored and, should the ideas fail, the character will not be forcibly dropped or anything. It's merely a guideline, of course, a little on the same line as the addition explained above.

If you have any questions or doubts regarding these, let us know!

Small edit

Due to a few apps having a bit of trouble, we edited the Applications template.

The requirements are the same as usual, we hope the re-wording and clarifications help for future apps.

As a bonus for this 4th wall event, we're making it so that everyone who applies within this app cycle (up until April 21st!) can provide to links played within the 4th wall event rather than do a sample post. This counts for both new and old muns!

Two separate threads with five comments each from your character will do. They don't have to be threads with characters in the game, anyone works out as long as it's good enough.

It doesn't need to be the first five comments on the thread, either, pick whichever thread of five comments you feel shows their voice the best.

As with any sample post, you may be asked for "revisions", so maybe extra links or a small additional sample could be asked for.

That's all, feel free to ask any questions if you need it.
