Hello everyone! I'm just here to announce the creation of ![[info]](http://www.insanejournal.com/img/community.gif) kiseki_etc! This comm will be replacing miraclecountry @ LJ, since LJ now sucks and it's being used less and less, and therefore it's no longer reliable for plotting or voting if I have to wait forever for people to even notice it.
So. Hop over to kiseki_etc! You can use this community for small plotting, memes, random silly things, attempting to enable others, and so on. Simply join it with your RP journals like you would with the other communities here.
ALSO, the Character Files list is horribly outdated, so please take a look at it and reply with any new info on charas. |

Finally managing to post this!
Okay, as everybody should know already, on the night of the 31st, we're having a masquerade!
( Details )
However, we should all know by now, Kiseki's a giant troll. So around half an hour after midnight, a new event will take place.
The characters will suddenly be transported to one out of five of the smaller islands, split from the ones they're closest to. The trains won't be working, of course (and won't, in general, work until the end of January), and anyone attempting to fly out of the islands will end up meeting a barrier, and being transported back to them.
The islands will be temporarily desert. The hotels' cafeterias will all be accessible, and be full of supplies, and anything fresh will get restored. Although as days advance, the characters should see that any item being replaced is showing up in smaller quantities. Meaning that, eventually, they will run out of food.
So, how do they return to the main island?

Everybody will find they have a (pink, scented) letter in their hand explaining what they need to search for. The letter will also warn them that "someone they know" will be protecting the eggs, and advise them to search in pairs - and only in pairs, because any group larger than that will not be able to find anything. The 'guardians' will show up for both people if they're together, but it should hopefully be a little easier to handle them that way.
They can search on their own if they prefer it that way, but the eggs will try to hide even more from people who're on their own - although once more and more people leave the smaller islands, there'll be a greater chance for those remaining to find an egg for themselves.
What happens once they do find the egg? They simply need to grab them (if they're in pairs, then each needs to take one), and they'll be instantly transported to the Welcome Center. The main island will be unchanged, save for the trains still not working. The barrier surrounding the smaller islands will prevent anyone in the main one to go search for them, but they can still communicate through the journals.
There is no time limit for this, and while both things are mandatory ICly, it's obviously not mandatory to play it all out. You can simply handwave things and say the character eventually found the egg later on.
Now! I've already decided the splitting up of characters throughout the island, mostly because with the event being so soon, there's no time to be voting and discussing it between ourselves. If you have any objections to the grouping, please let me know and we can try and work something out o/

It could be physical, emotional or both, so have fun with that. It's not mandatory, and the minimum duration for it to affect someone is 12 hours.

Event announcement time! One day I will write up a post without making some dumb \8DDD/!!1! thing at the top
Starting on Friday 25th, and ending on Sunday 27th, two events will happen in Kiseki.
First, any mirrors in the island might temporarily become a small version of the Mirror of Erised. If you're not familiar with it, go read HP DX9, here's the info on it. Basically, the mirrors will reflect 'the deepest and most desperate desire' of your character's heart.
Now, the original mirror works so that only the one looking into it can see what's reflected, and if there's one more person in front of it, it'll work as a regular mirror. Some of Kiseki's will work that way, but others may work so that it'll show whatever the first character to look into it desires, and then anyone else coming along can see it too.
For the mirrors that work "normally", the effect can last the entirety of the event. For the ones that work so that others can see it, too, the effect will only last a while - from a few minutes to an hour or so, your choice.
Second, your characters can have their memories altered, so that they believe whatever they wish for the most has become, or has always been, true. So, basically, it'd be as if they believed whatever would show up in the mirror of Erised to be how things really are. They'll be so convinced of this, they won't even be able to realize any inconsistencies or defying of logic, even if others point them out.
Like the event above, this one can have different durations depending on your choice - the effect could vanish after a couple of hours, or it could last all three days.
Both events are non-mandatory, of course, and will be counted separately for re-plays. As always, feel free to ask any questions o/ |

Needs moar mod-posts, right?
Time for an event!
Starting on Tuesday 18th, and ending a week after on the 25th (*), characters will sometimes be forced by Kiseki's magic to follow - literally - other people's commands. Say somebody tells them to "get out", then they would find themselves doing so, even if the other person didn't actually mean for them to do it.
It could affect anybody, and how long the effects of each individual command lasts is up to the mun - the character might be able to stop themselves before they completely follow the order through, or they might be stuck doing one motion for a good while.
As always, feel free to ask any questions o/
(*): So that it doesn't seem like I'm ignoring the crit given re: event timing already - this one has a shorter plotting period because it wouldn't require much plotting before-hand, and so that it won't overlap as much with the 31st, which is when I assume we'll have the Halloween dance thing. |

Hey look, a rare not-talked-about-for-months-and-delayed-forever event!
Hey everyone! Like the subject says, it's time for an event!
Starting now and lasting, at most, until Friday 12th ("at most", because you can choose to affect your characters for less time. The shortest they can be affected is one day, though), characters will turn into vampires!
TRC style vampires, of course! But not purebloods - think of how Fay was affected: they get to feed on blood, have increased healing abilities, eyes that switch to golden, and those fun extendable claws. And a longer lifespan, but that doesn't matter much for this. They wouldn't be bound to anyone, either, so they can hunt anyone they'd like.
This is non-mandatory, obviously, and for those who already are TRC vampires, they can choose to become human for the duration of the event.
As usual, feel free to ask any questions!
ETA: I hadn't considered 'cause it's Kiseki making the change, rather than an actual blood exchange, but! The painful process of transformation from human to vampire is optional. If you choose not to have it, the characters will simply change all of a sudden, no fainting or writhing required. |

Starting now, and ending next Sunday, we are having a replay of the blackout event!
We'll have a few changes this time, though.

And, most importantly, an entirely different event will be merged with this one! The secrets event, which means that every inch of every building in Kiseki will be covered in writing depicting secrets from and about the characters currently here. Written in many many different fonts, colors and sizes, they will not only change places, but also randomly glow (as if fluorescent) for a few seconds.

Hey everyone! Big changes ahead!
I will ask everyone to please check over the mod's journal, as many of the posts have been changed!
- Navigation links have been added to all the entries.
- Activity requirements're now part of the FAQ.
- The general and events suggestions posts were merged into one (the old events one).
- The living facilities, school jobs, and pets lists were merged into one. If your character is not listed, please comment there with the necessary information.
- The allowances have been restricted! Please check the FAQ for details.
- Most importantly, Kiseki will now have several new locations! Check the list for details (and read it thoroughly, as some of the additions are to the main & existing islands).
ALL OF THIS goes into effect as soon as I post the upcoming event, which I will write up now. Once the event's over, several Kisekians will be going around the city, handing out flyers detailing the new additions.
