She's gone... with any luck, she's safely back home and won't remember anything about this place. But if Gwen wasn't sent back home, then who knows what's happened to her. Please don't let her be dead... not her. Anyone but her.

I wanted so badly to be able to protect her. But I failed... again. I couldn't protect any of them. Suzie, Toshiko, Owen, Grey, Ianto, Stephen... they all paid the price because of me. I didn't bring Gwen here, but I promised I wouldn't let anything happen to her. And now she's gone. I always lose everyone... and I'm forced to keep on going.

It's never going to end.

For those I haven't actually spoken with yet, yes I am ... back. Though I don't recall leaving.

At any rate, if you haven't already seen, or guessed, there was a report from the lottery team and if this lottery is like the last one, there is evidence enough to believe we're about to be invaded by dementors.

I'd like all of the magic users who can cast a patronus, or who can maintain a cast one, to message back if you're willing to help out. For those who can't cast one, please talk to me anyway and we'll see if we can teach you at least the basic shielding bit of it, if we can't create a full corporeal patronus.

Again, we may be preparing for an invasion of nothing at all, but I'd rather be safe than sorry.

If anyone has any questions regarding dementors, please seek out one of the Hogwarts wizards or witches. Any of them can at least give you an idea of what to expect if we are invaded.

You came through with fewer casualties and more kills than I expected. Pretty decent teamwork.

I figured it was about time I said hello to the other inmates in this whatever it is.

I'm Captain Jack Harkness. I used to run an organization called Torchwood, based out of Cardiff, Wales. We dealt with aliens, artifacts, and whatever else the Rift spit out at us. Some of you probably already know Gwen, my Second in Command.

I've been seeing a lot about the ammo being found, plans to fight, etc. Whatever needs doing that will probably result in someone being seriously injured or killed, just point me at it. No, I'm not going to explain why at the moment... just trust me when I say I'll be fine and I've dealt with worse.

We've been very busy today, and I'd like to thank everyone who pitched in to help prepare the places for a potential attack. There were no reports of any disturbances outside, so it stands to reason that we are still safe for now. I'll try to cover all the bases in some semblance of order, but I'll likely forget something.

First, Jaime found two pair of binoculars if anyone wanted to volunteer to take turns watching from some of the upstairs windows. We've managed to unlock one room on either side on the top floor, though I'll be the first to admit it worries me we could only unlock those two doors up there. Rooms 1207 and 1216 are open, and they have fairly decent views to both sides of the hotel.

Second, we're toying with the idea of patrols, but we were hesitant to suggest it because if something did happen, it would be our fault even if someone did willingly volunteer, knowing the situation. That said, we cannot stop you if you wanted to do so, but we do strongly advise you take someone with you. Even if you're a crack shot or have amazing reflexes or strong magic, the element of surprise is one that cannot always be overcome.

Third, we've established two safe rooms on the third floor. Rooms 317 and 318. They've been warded and set with several protection charms to deter entry to anyone not already here. If someone happens to arrive, they'll be keyed in to the wards as well. We're not certain the wards will hold up against reavers, if that is in fact what's coming, but they will at least buy time and give warning. While you are welcome to sleep in those rooms in the event an attack comes at night, it might get a touch crowded.

We are asking for armed volunteers to be able to watch those two rooms, or willing to take shifts staying with the people who are hiding residing in there.

Fourth, we've set up a make-shift medical center in the lobby. We honestly couldn't find much by way of actual medical supplies, but I am harboring some hope that in the event of an attack, our captors will provide us with the means to take care of any wounds received. If anyone has any healing skills and is willing to volunteer their time, we would appreciate it. We're also using rooms 215 and 216 as infirmaries for non-emergency medical situations.

We are trying to prepare for every eventuality, but we are admittedly dealing with a fair number of unknown factors. We may be doing a lot of waiting for nothing, but if we aren't, it is best to be prepared. If you have questions or suggestions, or ways you think something could be done better, please don't hesitate to let us know.

We're all flying blind here and just doing our best.

Just added 3 more boxes of ammo, various makes in this case, to the table in the kitchen. Also grabbed a fair amount of spare parts and tools for myself (I have an idea for a possible weapon).

Good evening, everyone.

As I'm writing this, Sunday is drawing to a close. Nothing yet has happened, but we do know they tend to like to start their little games on Mondays if nothing happened on the weekend. We have every reason to speculate that tomorrow they will be unleashing something on us - if they're going to do anything at all.

They might not. It might be a break in the pattern. They might be stringing us along for no good reason other than to watch us panic. They might give us a whole week off and hit us on Friday. The bottom line is, we know nothing.

We've boarded up the windows in the lobby, and barricaded the back door. That said, please only use the front door when entering and exiting the hotel.

We're also strongly encouraging everyone to not go out unless you absolutely have to, and if you do, try to take someone with you who has a gun, or some strong offensive magic or skills, or blades, or arrows, or something that can be used in defense in case something is out there tonight or tomorrow or the rest of the week.

We are also asking for a couple of volunteers to raid the store for food and bring it all into the kitchen area, and to raid the mall for anything that can be used for medical supplies, in case we end up needing them. Even clothing or sheets that can be easily torn into bandages, and towels. As many towels as you can find would be appreciated.

No one here can dictate laws or control you, but we are asking - for your safety and that of the others here - that you do your best to be cautious and keep safe. Don't take unnecessary risks, and try to stay indoors until we have some sort of confirmation one way or another.

We also have a ... very young guest. She's fourteen, but looks and acts younger. She may very well have some sort of mental disability, or she's very deeply in shock. I'd like someone to volunteer to keep an eye on her. She is a witch, but her magic is very unstable, so she is ... a risk. I can't honestly say more than that, because I don't know more than that, but she mentioned some 'bad accidents' with her magic.

If there's someone who doesn't already have something to do, who has some skill in minding children, please let me know and I'll introduce the pair of you.

Anyone need ammo for what I think is a Jericho? Found a box full in the kitchen of all places.

If anyone finds some for a standard police issue or a World War II Webley let me know? Those are the guns Jack and I have.

Jack: we should talk, we have to help somehow even through we fight different things (this sounds pretty close to the Daleks).

I'm posting this as I'm casing the mall.

Early today I stumbled upon a stash of weapons in a display case along with another case full of grenades. Later tonight or early tommorow I plan on making a run back to the mall to make the grab (I'm also a professional thief for those that are new aka I know what I'm doing). But at the same time it got me to thinking if there are guns there has to be ammo and Jayne Cobb's post was the proof I needed.

So before tonight if everyone with guns or other weapons drop me a note with what ammo is being sought I'll keep an eye open during the stealing run tonight. As for the people that have more unusual weapons I'll see what I can do for you guys too so same thing: let me know what is needed.

And since I know what the team would say here are answers:

So before tonight drop me info and if anyone finds a power source to a high powered stun gun or a rappelling rig please let me know? The rig is a common tool in my line of work.

Alright. Hello everyone who is reading this. My name is Ianto Jones and so far I have been here a number of days and yet still have had no contact with anyone outside. I suppose I would give the exact, but then passing out tends to be happening a lo I was given this device I assume to be used; however if I'm to be studied I'm not going to be following through willingly. The only person I have an interest to talk to is the one running this place, wherever it might be and possibly some answers as to what this is about. I understand this is an experiment, however have noted no real pattern so far in prisoners...

If any one has also seen a man named Jack Harkness or a woman, Gwen Cooper, it would be a relief to hear from them as well. You must understand those like myself here I have nothing against and I'm sure we'll work this out eventually. Sorry for what's happened, but thank you for any additional information all the same.

Just thought I'd announce our first group event. Having a pool party up on the roof on Friday, from 3 PM on. The mall has plenty of swimwear for those who didn't bring their own.

Refreshments will be served. We've even got a sno-cone machine.
