I would first like to apologize for the ... lateness of this, but I spent a great deal of today catching up with everything.

For those who haven't had a chance to speak with anyone (or who simply aren't aware of what's going on), our captors somehow created or forged videos of devastation on each island, leading everyone to believe the others on the opposite island had been killed.

This is not the case. Everyone is alive and well -- as well as can be expected, given the circumstances.

I imagine we'll at least have the weekend to settle in, and then Monday may well be back to business as usual ... so take advantage of the time while you have it.

Breakfast will be served as usual, and of course, Lucky will be tending to the evening meal.

It's about time. We're reunited. It's hard to believe, but we're alive, and together again. Hot Merlin!

I really don't want to add to the horrific that is today, but ... Well, the only person who could make the potion that keeps me from going savage is dead.

So, we need a plan, and working with the assumption we're stuck here through the moon ... It should be a plan we can act on quickly.

I suggest some wizards warding off a couple of rooms for me and Remus so we stay safely locked up Friday night, but I'm open to suggestions.

I would just like to inform everyone that contrary to what you might hear otherwise, I did not spend the majority of the week huddled in the corner of my closet.

I've been out and around. Just ask anyone who saw me.

I assume Lily has discussed the situation with you?

Our captors gave me (just me; it was marked private) this video. I don't know if it's a genuine threat, but Severus suggested I tell you. There's no reason to believe he's serious, but no reason to not believe it, either.

I'm not sure what -- if anything -- you can do on your end, but maybe you can work something out.

So ... I guess by now everyone's noticed there's something going on.

What I got from Lily is that a group of people have been moved to a new location, and both directories reflect everyone.

So if everyone could just sign in and say which place you're at, so we have some idea without having to go door to door. Or if ... someone wants to sign in for you. I know the following:

I woke up this morning to find Tom Riddle's Diary, one of his horcruxes, whole and untorn, on my bed-stand.

It might be an incredible replica, and it might be a trick, and it might even just be a game, but it might also mean that, somewhere, Voldemort is still alive.

I felt you should both know. It's probably just another trick from the wardens of our prison, but... be careful.

Number of Dementors doubled. Patrols outside no longer feasible. Help needed to ward all exits as soon as possible.

As of last night, or early this morning, I suppose, we are now hosting a dozen dementors.

If the pattern follows, tomorrow will be the worst of it, and the numbers will likely increase further.

We are strongly encouraging people to stay in groups or pairs, and to look out for each other.

I want to have more than pairs out, but I don't want anyone taking on too much or wearing themselves out.

So I suppose we'll keep the schedule as it stands and those willing can volunteer to be thirds and fourths until this is over.

Anyone awake with infirmary training, I've got one down from Dementor attack, incoming in a few minutes.

The Dementor numbers have nearly doubled. Noone go anywhere alone.

How is everything going, as far as patrols and the like?

Let me know if you think we need to change up anything? I'm consulting with Sev as well.

Right, so most everyone should have seen Sev's post by now. We apparently have dementors already. Thought they might give us until Tuesday like last time

I'd like those wizards and witches capable and willing to take patrol shifts to try to keep the dementors out. Right now we only have one, but given how things seem to operate here, I don't imagine it will be long before we have more.

If there's someone here you'd prefer to partner with, then do mention that and we'll try to put together a schedule of sorts.

For those I haven't actually spoken with yet, yes I am ... back. Though I don't recall leaving.

At any rate, if you haven't already seen, or guessed, there was a report from the lottery team and if this lottery is like the last one, there is evidence enough to believe we're about to be invaded by dementors.

I'd like all of the magic users who can cast a patronus, or who can maintain a cast one, to message back if you're willing to help out. For those who can't cast one, please talk to me anyway and we'll see if we can teach you at least the basic shielding bit of it, if we can't create a full corporeal patronus.

Again, we may be preparing for an invasion of nothing at all, but I'd rather be safe than sorry.

If anyone has any questions regarding dementors, please seek out one of the Hogwarts wizards or witches. Any of them can at least give you an idea of what to expect if we are invaded.

[ Posted early afternoon Saturday, after the 'winners' complete their puzzles ]

Took these and recorded this while we were in 1006. Doesn't make much sense to me, but I figure it'll ring a bell for some of you guys.

[ Included is awkward, sloppy pictures of each of the puzzles, and a recording of the sound clip, which sounds much more staticky and likely includes comments from various lottery winners. Booth's puzzle is not completed, but should be assembled enough that the image is visible ]

When Jaime and I were looking at the registry (we're going to make a copy of it Monday morning, just in case ... they really do send some of us away), we noticed Bellatrix wasn't listed there anymore.

It's a good thing, but I can't help but feel moderately suspicious.
