My name's Elena Michaels. I just arrived here the other day, but I've been reading through some recent conversations on the network and want to put something out there.

I'm a werewolf. In fact, I'm the Alpha of the North American Pack in my world. It's obvious that there are people here from many different universes, so I suspect that none of the supernaturals here have heard of us. I'm also a representative on something called the Interracial Council, which is a group of supernaturals who meet on a regular basis to address any issues that may be affecting our community as a whole. There are a number of supernatural races represented on the council.

Given some of the posts I've seen recently, I think it might do us well to put together something similar here. We all need to support each other and ensure that we are keeping ourselves and the other residents of the camp safe. There may be people here with unique dietary needs or other issues that they need help managing in this type of environment. I can understand the hesitation to be open about who and what you are, in fact, making this kind of announcement is strictly against Pack Law at home. But given the circumstances of what we're facing here, I think it's necessary to work together.

If you'd rather not respond publicly, please at least send me a message and let me know if you need anything.

[Clay & Kate]

I didn't mention either of you, but if you would like to speak openly about yourselves, consider this my permission as your Alpha. I don't see any reason to hide what we are here. We can be more useful if we're honest.

Unless there are objections, all things considered which would be fine and I honestly don't care, but I should pretend like I do, so I would understand, I'd like to keep offering the self-defense class if people are still interested in taking it. If the masses aren't, but a few of the current students still do, then I'm happy to give private lessons in my free time. For those unfamiliar: these classes are solely beginner material and are not at all meant to be preparing you for anything other than defending yourself in an emergency and they aren't in any way specific to where we are right now; these are the kinds of skills that you'll be able to find useful in a bad situation back home, just as easily.

CLARKE.
Can't remember which one you are, but I saw Steve mention the thing about the smokehouse. I don't know anything about that but I know that I'm strong and I'm bored more often than I'm not, so I'd like to offer to help with that.

To make sure supply runs are as effective as they can be when we send a team out I'd like to set up a meeting to keep the best list going we can for what is needed. As well to address any other concerns that might come up along the way. Ideally weekly but at the bare minimum the Monday before what will be bi-weekly supply runs. If medical, farming and service want to discuss this and decide on someone to be your person to do this. First one will be this Monday.

Clarke mentioned she can build a smokehouse which would be a good idea. We can't rely on being able to guarantee finding everything we need on runs - if there's one constant about this place it's that it's inconsistent. With our numbers growing the way they are we need to be better prepared to be more self sufficient. If you think you can help with that let her know. As well, if you have any other ideas on making us more self sufficient let's get it going.

KATE.
You said you could hunt - I'm assuming that's something that runs in the family?

An update on the current status of developing a vaccination against the Infected/infection. I'm going to begin trails with vaccinations this afternoon. I'll continue to keep everyone up to date on any progress.

As always, if anyone wants to find out if they're immune to the infected, come see us at the medical facility anytime.

[ BARRY ]
Do you know when the next supply run is? Can you choose to go on when you want? I have a list of a few things that I could really use sooner rather than later.

[ DEREK ]
Hi. Do you have any crazy exciting plans on this Friday night? I know there's so much to choose from around here.

Right, so. I'm going to join the club because I want to help and I don't want to lie about what I am anymore.

I'm Malia. And I'm a werecoyote. I was in a horrible car accident when I was little and killed my my mom and sister died and I shifted and got stuck that way. I lived on my own in the woods as a coyote for eight years before Scott and Stiles forced me to shift back.

I'm not happy with them for that.

So I don't know how to not be stupidly dramatic about this, but I also don't want to try and make excuses for anything not normal I might be caught doing, especially since I'm trying to get on defense. Maybe I don't have to announce this at all, but I'm getting fed up with pretending in a place like this and people thinking I can't fight because of age. Seriously

Hi, I'm Kira. I'm a Kitsune, of the thunder variety. So I'm fast (not Flash fast), I heal, I'm great with weapons and I generate and absorb electricity. No, the brown out was not me.

Questions, comments, concerns? No? Cool.

I've got some fresh carrots from this morning, if anyone is looking for some, and I could use an extra set of hands on hauling to food to the community center.

Elena Michaels. Just got here. Spent about a day finding my way here by following a familiar scent trail.

I'm going to go to the defense meeting, and I'm going to be honest about myself. Of course I won't mention anything about any of you, obviously. I would never. But at this point it kind of seems like they're just humoring us about not having some idea that we're not exactly normal. I could be useful, and given that no one is rallying around throwing out a succubus, I feel fairly confident in my decision.

Plus at this point I don't trust that I can keep an eye on myself. Pretending I'm human in a place like this is just going to get someone else hurt.

Like I said, this is just about me and I won't mention anyone else, but at this point I'm just making things more difficult for myself and everyone else. You all have the right to know what I'm doing.

[ BO DENNIS ]

Hi! I'm Kira. You probably don't now me. I work in farming and I'm one of the defense trainees.

Could I ask you a question? Another question, besides that question.

You need to let me fight. Your rules are stupid. I have the skills you need and it's stupid not to let me do anything.

This place sucks. We need to do stuff to keep people from dying. Despite what the blonde girl said, people don't have to die here.

How many of you have experience building a society from the leftovers of civilization? Maybe rather than passing judgment on the people who are making the effort to actually keep us safe, you should find ways to make yourselves useful and be productive members of the camp.

Death is unavoidable in circumstance like this. Yes, it sucks that we lost people, but it could have been a hell of a lot worse. And given the way this settlement is growing, it's entirely likely that it will be worse in the future. If you can't deal with that, then maybe you should try surviving on your own outside the walls.

All that being said, I have experience building and maintaining a smokehouse, if that is something people are interested in getting together.

Back home, I ran support groups for war veterans who were suffering from PTSD. I know that our situation here is different from that, but it's still a difficult one and it would be reasonable for people to have trouble dealing with the things that they've seen here, especially after the events of this past week.

That being said, if there is interest, I would be willing to hold a similar group here at the community center. Or, if you want someone to talk to in a one on one setting, I am happy to listen. Either way, if you're having a hard time with anything, please don't think you have to deal with it on your own. We're all in this together and we need to work as a community to survive this.
