He's gone. There's no sign of him. His room is empty. His things are gone. I think He went back home.

For those of you who still needed suits, come to me. I'll finish what he started. If anyone here knows how to work with clothing, now would be a good time to step up.

To make sure supply runs are as effective as they can be when we send a team out I'd like to set up a meeting to keep the best list going we can for what is needed. As well to address any other concerns that might come up along the way. Ideally weekly but at the bare minimum the Monday before what will be bi-weekly supply runs. If medical, farming and service want to discuss this and decide on someone to be your person to do this. First one will be this Monday.

Clarke mentioned she can build a smokehouse which would be a good idea. We can't rely on being able to guarantee finding everything we need on runs - if there's one constant about this place it's that it's inconsistent. With our numbers growing the way they are we need to be better prepared to be more self sufficient. If you think you can help with that let her know. As well, if you have any other ideas on making us more self sufficient let's get it going.

How are you and Pepper holding up? Any news?

A few years ago when I was back home and things had gotten especially crazy, my friend had brought all of us together and we set off paper lanterns to honor those who we had recently lost. I know it might sound a little cheesy, but it was nice and it felt like a good way to pay our respects.

So I made two this morning and I'm going to be down at the lake just after sunset if anyone wanted to join in.

Fuck it. I'll be the asshole. So are we not going to talk about the two people who died this past week, one of whom was an untrained Defense member under a team leader who has already asked for specialized training and barely received any? No?

No memorial service? No offers for any kind of counseling to those who are struggling with having to sit on that knowledge or who aren't used to death? Just going to pretend it never happened?

I'm done with Defense. I would appreciate being put on the farm with my sister. It would behoove you to take the advice being given in the conversation between Rogue and I, but if you don't take it then it won't be my problem anymore, anyway

Steve, if there's no objections, I'm going to go to a sweep of the area around camp to make sure nothing horribly nasty managed to get close and hide during all that fog. I won't go too far in case this isn't really over.

Has anyone been keeping a list of all the people in camp? I think we need a roll call to figure out if anyone else is unaccounted for.

There has to be a source to this fog. I've worked with fog before, and smoke, I can usually produce enough of an air current to clear it out but it's not even making a dent. Either it's coming from a constant source or... I don't know.

I keep seeing children. Why did it have to be creepy kids?

Until this clears up I'm asking for no one to leave Camp, if it's thick out there too you might not find your way back. I'm also asking for people to stick in pairs and make sure you let people know where you're going.

I need a few volunteers to help some members of defense run a rope from the housing complex to the medical bay. We'll put some lights along it. This way if someone needs to get there they'll have a guide.

Everything in the greenhouse has been covered and as far as I know there's nothing that needs to be done today so it might be a good day to just stay inside.

I know a lot of you are freaking out, but we will get through this - we just need to stay calm and keep everyone aware of what is going on. If you see anything, or need help, just let someone know.

Any chance we can cobble together some thermal monitors? Might give us a better chance at seeing what, if anything, is out there?

I need one team to set up the rope - I'm hoping between what's in the ammunition bunkers and the greenhouse we'll have enough to get a line going.

Tony, Rogue, Sam - do you think any of you could get high enough to get above this and see how widespread this is?

As far as everything else - well, we've got some decisions to make right now:

Stark wanted to switch over our power supply today. The system would be a hell of lot more stable, but the downside is we'd be without anything for 30 seconds. Which doesn't seem like a long time but if we can't see more than ten feet in front of us that's a long time. I'm personally inclined to the good of it outweighing the bad, especially if this fog is bringing in something worse than just reduced visibility. Last thing we need is to have no power on top of that. We either do this in the next hour or we don't do it at all, unless the fog stops coming in the way it is right now.

I'd like to reduce our patrol area, bring it in closer to the locations where people will be. I'm thinking a wide circle around the housing and medical, and then the greenhouse to make sure if something gets into Camp it doesn't destroy our food. If the fog itself is bringing things in then watching our fence might be a waste of time and resources. Thoughts?

The supply run was pretty successful, we've got the basic necessities but I managed to grab some stuff that people wanted, I tried to remember as much as I could.

Joey, I was able to grab some medical books for you. I hope they're alright.

For those of you who were looking for other types of literature, I grabbed a lot of fiction, some non fiction (mostly historical), comics that didn't have any familiar names, mythological books, psychology, fantasy, crafting, language, and a whole bunch of basic school text books. They look like they mostly range from the 100 to the 200 levels. I managed to grab some movies, too, and CD's.

I found a comic book about myself. And a couple of others about other people here. I didn't bring them back.

Little PSA for you all; our new power source is officially completed. When we switch over the grid, there might be a black out for approximately 10-30 seconds. It's not a long period of time but I'm going to want to schedule that with everyone to make sure that everybody is aware of when to expect it so we can stay on our toes. It'll be during the day so we have sunlight on our side, preferably early. With the new system in place we're going to have a lot more power. Which means more energy sources for defensive maneuvers.

Two things. Thing one - I want to schedule when we switch the grid over so we can have proper defense in place. 10-30 seconds is longer than I'm comfortable with. I'm having Allen switch the connections to make sure that it's done as quickly as possible.

Thing two - we might want to consider asking someone to start teaching some sort of sex ed course around here since apparently the teenagers are humping like rabbits. I'd nominate you but you have to have actually had it to educate others on it.

I want to run the trial model again. I want us all to watch it separately and then one more time together just so we can make sure that none of us are missing anything. We checked the fences last time and the brownout still happened, but I want to make sure we cover our asses here as much as we can.

Sunday night thoughts.

This last couple of weeks has been rather quiet and low key... it feels almost like the calm before a very big storm. I hope not. Maybe we should have a master list of birthdays, an excuse to celebrate as often as possible.

Besides, I can make awesome paper crowns. I'm learning I have more skills than just bossing people around.

Hope the new arrivals are settling in well enough.
