I guess I'm supposed to introduce myself or something. So, hi. I'm John Connor - John Baum - John.

Unless there are objections, all things considered which would be fine and I honestly don't care, but I should pretend like I do, so I would understand, I'd like to keep offering the self-defense class if people are still interested in taking it. If the masses aren't, but a few of the current students still do, then I'm happy to give private lessons in my free time. For those unfamiliar: these classes are solely beginner material and are not at all meant to be preparing you for anything other than defending yourself in an emergency and they aren't in any way specific to where we are right now; these are the kinds of skills that you'll be able to find useful in a bad situation back home, just as easily.

Can't remember which one you are, but I saw Steve mention the thing about the smokehouse. I don't know anything about that but I know that I'm strong and I'm bored more often than I'm not, so I'd like to offer to help with that.

How many of you have experience building a society from the leftovers of civilization? Maybe rather than passing judgment on the people who are making the effort to actually keep us safe, you should find ways to make yourselves useful and be productive members of the camp.

Death is unavoidable in circumstance like this. Yes, it sucks that we lost people, but it could have been a hell of a lot worse. And given the way this settlement is growing, it's entirely likely that it will be worse in the future. If you can't deal with that, then maybe you should try surviving on your own outside the walls.

All that being said, I have experience building and maintaining a smokehouse, if that is something people are interested in getting together.

I think a lot of us have been trying to just live our own lives independent of everyone else, and I don't think we can do that. We need to come together and watch out for each other. Maybe if we had, Adamus and Sam would still be alive.

Hello, My name is Marina and I just got here last night. I wanted to thank everyone for being so kind to me when I arrived. I know this can't be easy for anyone. I'm sure nobody wants to be here, but it's good that everyone's willing to work together to make this place liveable.

I'm going to be working in Medical, and I'm living with Jessica Jones and Clara Oswald. If I can do anything else to help out, please let me know.

You know it's going to be an excellent day when you manage to stub your toe on your bed, run into your door handle and collect two paper cuts in the span of two minutes. Then spill the coffee on that same foot, almost get slammed by a car hood, and drop your granola bar in the dirt. I am having a day, and it's only half way done.

Like Barry said, I'm going to be working on creating a vaccination for the virus. As we just began to study the virus today, I can't say for sure how long this will take, but it will be one of my top priorities, next to the overall health of the camp residents.

That being said, one of the best chances I have to actually create a vaccination would be to find someone who is immune. So if you are willing to provide a blood sample, please let me know and I'd like to get a sample from you as soon as possible. Given that some people are much more than human in here, it's possible the key to a vaccination could be with one of you. Or maybe even someone without abilities. This isn't mandatory, of course. Volunteers only.

You know, I'm grateful and all...I am. But twenty-four hours is a long time to stay put after the night (or day, I guess now) I've had. To the fast man in the red, if you're here...thank you.

I wanted to reintroduce myself. As I said yesterday, I'm Caitlin Snow, and I'm a doctor. I don't know how long I'll be here for, how permanent this is or how stable our presence in this place is, but I want to be as helpful to all of you as possible. So, please, if something is wrong or you need to see a doctor, don't hesitate to come and see me, or even call for me. It's not like I have far to travel to get to any area of this place.

I have a Ph.D. in Bio-Medical Engineering. But I also have training in neurosurgery, as general practitioner, and more. Getting closer to two years ago, I became more of the in house doctor for Team Flash. If you're aware of Cisco and Barry, they are my teammates. I do my best to keep them all alive and healthy, everything from minor colds (no one ever listens to me when I say get rest), to fractures and breaks, heart failures, concussions, seizures, etc. I also actually do work in my technical field, from figuring out ways to combat, stabilize, or improve meta-human abilities, to synthesizing cures for unstable super soldier serums as examples.

I'm telling you all of this because I want you to have some idea of my background and capabilities. If you need anything, talk to me. I don't have the technology here that I do at home, but that doesn't mean I won't work to help you in any way I can, while also working to continue to improve the services we can provide. Ladies! I've been going through the lab here, and Joey it's seriously amazing what you've done so far in an end of the world situation. I've started putting together my own wish list, or ideas that I thought we could slowly work toward. I'd love to sit down with the two of you and come up with goals we can realistically work toward together and with the help of the Defense team. Would you be willing?

First, I'd like to give my deepest gratitude to the defense teams, who managed to keep all of us safe during the breach. Without you, I hate to think what might have happened.

But thinking ahead, I think we need to do something to make sure that this doesn't happen again. It's a fact that the electricity here is unstable, which means that a blackout or a brownout could easily happen again, causing the defenses to go down.

I know supplies are limited and that technology is lacking (through no fault of Tech), so here's my suggestion.

During WWI, the trenches were separated by a 'no man's land' of mines, pikes, barbed wire, etc. etc. We need to build something like this outside the walls, to keep the unfriendlies from being able to take advantage of any sort of electrical issue. Mines might be impossible, I realize, but the rest shouldn't be.

I suggest that we tear down one of the houses (there are some still unoccupied, and others with only half occupancy) and use the materials for construction of our defenses. Ten yards from the wall I would suggest we build trenches. Six feet deep. Filled with wooden pikes, sharpened on the tips. Perhaps a place for a person to stand guard, but that's not strictly necessary. The trench needs to be wide enough that a ladder stretched over it has no chance of breaching the walls. Then, for 100 yards (at least) past the trenches, we need to build our no-man's land.

If we make it so that they can't even get to the walls, that cuts our danger significantly.
