Every hour I am eliciting a half mile sweep to ensure the lack of presence of the undead. Thus far, in a few hours, I have encountered two of the foul beings at once. They were dispatched.

There's a cave in the Outlands where the undead seem to be originating from [...] this time. There are symbols written on the walls of it similar to the ones we have discovered previously. We will have to disperse of the hoard that is currently there before we can examine them more closely, so be prepared to fight. There are at least four dozen of the undead creatures at the mouth of the cave, possibly more within the caverns.

Councilor Cassul and Councilor Liu have already been informed, and we are hoping to amass enough reinforcements that the threat can be dealt with swiftly.

Citizens of Emillion,

Everyone currently inside the city walls is advised to remain there until further notice. Travel outside the city is extremely discouraged until the undead threat is dealt with. If you are currently outside, please seek safety inside the city if you are able to do so. I repeat: stay in a safe place until further notice.

Siana, Divina, Maria and I have been able to confirm recently that the undead threat warned of in the last few days by the Rangers is real and much bigger than anticipated. As per Aspel's request, we investigated the area and tracked the undead to a very eerie cave. There were unidentifiable symbols written in blood on the outer walls and a number of scorch marks. Siana recognized these as similar to those found recently in murder scenes in Emillion. We were unable to investigate the cave owing to the large number of undead amassing outside (estimating around fifty around the time). We believe their numbers could be much, much larger inside the cave itself. This is not a threat that can be dealt with by a handful of people. We should rally as many fighters as possible to our cause.

I hardly think I need to ask after what we've seen, but please, gather as many supplies as you can in preparation for the attack. We will need to strike against the undead soon, before their numbers grow too large to deal with. I am currently on my way to procure as many healing potions as I can.

While I am loath to contribute to the gossip mill, undead sightings outside the city are on the rise. Although it originally appeared to be a few isolated incidents, with the undead merely mindlessly roaming around, it seems that's no longer the case. The sightings are becoming more and more frequent, and the undead are beginning to travel in numbers as opposed to remaining on their own. If you plan on leaving Emillion anytime in the immediate future, please exercise caution. Familiarize yourself with the vulnerabilities of the undead: Holy, Fire, and healing magic. The Rangers are working tirelessly to rid the Outlands of these revenants, but the sudden increased activity coupled with the strain on r has made things a bit more challenging.

Again, I cannot stress this enough: if you are leaving the city soon, please be careful, especially if you are traveling after sundown.
