Your local friendly white Mage here putting out a reminder to bundle up, and do your best to keep dry in the winter months. It's easy to pick up a chill, or germs so make sure to wash your hands extra, and whenever you think you might be coming down with something take a little time off and try to get some extra rest. A lot if the time simple sicknesses can be beat before it even gets serious with a little extra sleep, some hot soup or drink, and a little extra care.

The Black Lion Company will be holding another open recruitment mission this month. Departure's on the 26th of Capricorn, leaving for the southernmost reaches of Valendia and estimated to return to civilization on the 28th. The expedition will be lead through remarkably wild territories, and for those who have joined us before, please make your usual arrangements. Those new to our operations - filter me directly for further details.

We're being funded by the Ivalician Historical Society this round, and though you'll be among the regulars of the Company, escorting these men and women will take some priority. Among other things. As always and for the sake of my second-in-command, please be prompt with your notice that so we may make the necessary arrangements.

First of all, thank you all for volunteering for this mission. The safety of Emillion and its citizens hinges on its success, as no doubt you understand. We have been able to pinpoint the location where the herb may be found, and believe it would be best to launch this mission as soon as possible. The details are as follows:

Volunteers will leave from the Aerodrome at 6:00AM on Saturday, Sagittarius 8. Dress warmly; the journey will lead you to the Emillion mountains, so please remember to take the weather into account. Volunteers will fly partway there, but as the site cannot be directly accessed by airship, volunteers will need to be prepared to walk and camp at least one night. Camping supplies (bedrolls, tents, etc.) will be provided free of charge, as will healing potions.
