Sarah was sitting on one of the garden benches, lost in thought. She had one knee hugged to her chest, and whatever was rattling around in her head didn't seem to be a particularly happy topic. Tsuri trills worriedly from her shoulder, and she absently reaches up to give her a little scritching. |

Al had been thinking about certain things off and on, mostly prompted by the Gate Cat still hanging around the apartment, and the recent visit by Winry has solidified things in his mind.
Although first, before he starts making decisions, he wants to information gather. Along with passing on some information that he told his brother that he would.
Which is why he's now at the front door of apartment 3/4, knocking on it. |

Momiji Inubashiri stepped out of the portal to Gensoukyou. Nazrin had conveyed the message that Shou had wanted her to act as security while she was out of commission. Nazrin had more to take care of before coming back to the apartments, which left Momiji, (who was quickly released from her duties on the mountain) to meet the landlord on her own. Giving a sigh and making sure she was ready, started walking towards the apartments. Quickly spotting the office before even reaching the grounds, she walks straight towards it and knocks. |

It didn't take long for Kanako to find Her way to the nexus, and from there, even less time to stumble across where She had felt Shou's presence. She had gone to great lengths to hide Her own from Shou. After a moment of watching from a far, She had determined that her target wasn't there. Okay, She can run with this.
As luck would have it, Nazrin was also not present on security at the moment, being over in the clinic to install cameras, ironically.
Kanako looked around the grounds for a moment, standing just along the property line. She was easily an noticeable presence, being 6'3". Wonder who's going to notice Her first. |

Ed arrives back on the grounds in a fury, PINing back from the Sign near the landlord's office. He barely resists the urge to just...lash out at something, anything, and get his mind into some form of coherency before going to talk to Edward about this new complication in the Nexus.
If this influx of Envies turns into a trend, he is going to have WORDS with the multiverse.
After a minute or so of standing outside and seething with rage, he goes over to the office and opens the door. "We have a problem." |

| A new resident and a new heart attack |

William is thinking the whole way back that this is a bad idea, and that his brother is going to have another case of heart failure for this. But, he's committed, for better or for worse.
They reach the office and William turns to Envy. "Stay here. I'll let you in when I've talked him into it." Without waiting for an answer, he steps into the office and closes the door behind him. "Edward?" |

'Ed' had somehow gotten lost, and ended up near the Elric Apartments anyway. He's been thinking way too much by now. William's on his good side, after he thought about it. William was at least sympathetic. He wishes he could talk to William again, but he's thinking he'll probably run across another Ed. There seemed to be way too many of Pipsqueak around for his liking.
He sits down underneath a tree and plays with a few vials he had in his pocket. He'd forgotten he had those. |

After things had been decided on, people scattered to their homes with plans to meet back up the next day. It is now the next day and people are trickling in to Edwards office to make sure everyone's clear on what they're doing and to get ready to move out.

Sarah knocks on the door to Apartment 3/4 with a cheery grin and a large casserole dish in hand. She's got a favor to ask, and getting the person in question in a good mood first never hurt, right?

Right after Envy's made his escape but before anyone inside has had a chance to do much of anything of importance like, oh say, letting anyone outside know he's bugged out, Ed gets home from work.
Needless to say, Greed gets his attention rather quickly, as he isn't a usual sight around the apartments. He wasn't expecting Sarah to be outside either, so he heads over to them. "Should I be afraid to ask what's going on?" |

There is an apparent potential new resident surveying the grounds. He's a man in his early to mid twenties, with brown hair, blue eyes, and wearing clothing that could be from anywhere in the 1990's.
After a moment of getting a general layout of the grounds, he heads to the main building and presses the buzzer for the manager's office. |

"It's only for a few days, Brother," Celena assured Allen for the fifth time as she carefully folded another dress into her smallest travel chest.
Allen sighed. "A few days in a place you won't tell me, with a friend I don't know about."
Celena gave her brother a weary look. "I will be perfectly fine. My friend is trustworthy," she promised, giving her brother a peck on the cheek to reassure him. Or at least win him over.
It wasn't working. Allen frowned. "If she's trustworthy, why can't you tell me her name?" No, he was not figuring it could be a male friend. He'd be scandalized that his little sister was running off to spend a few days unsupervised with a male.
"I choose to keep this friendship secret," she explained. "It could do me ill at court."
Allen walked over and put a hand on her shoulder. "You also know I would never do anything to ruin you. I keep your secrets, Celena."
Sigh. Celena looked at her brother, feeling rather guilty about keeping such a secret from him now. Millerna and Dryden would give her grief over how hard she and Van had worked to put up the appearance of pure disdain for each other, only to be secretly friends afterwards, but Allen would not, and she knew it.
"Very well," she said, crouching down and locking the chest. "If you really must know, I am meeting with Van Fanel."
That seemed to surprise Allen. "Van? I thought you two hated each other."
Celena gave him a wry look. "We worked together to ensure the nobility did not try to marry us off to each other. The animosity could only last so long under such circumstances. Don't mistake me, a marriage would still be a terrible idea, but the animosity has been resolved."
The look Allen gave her was shrewd, as if he were plotting something, but it vanished before she could fully process it. "It had to do with-"
"Dilandau?" Celena finished for him, then sighed and sat down on the trunk. "Yes, that was the source of it. Apparently, I was not too terribly annoying for a noble once he realized there is a difference between that creature and myself." She had a rather dry tone at that.
"How generous of him," Allen said just as dryly. "Well, now that I know who you're meeting, I'm not quite so worried. Where will you be meeting him?"
Good question. How to field that one. "No place on Gaea." She smiled.
Allen's eyes crossed. "Surely not the Mystic Moon."
Celena laughed. "No, no, nothing like that. Would you care to see it? It's a fascinating place. It's called the Nexus, where all worlds meet."
Allen shooed Celena off her trunk and hauled it up. "I'll escort you, my lady," he said with a smile.
"Cedric can handle that, Brother," Celena tried to protest.
Her protests fell on deaf ears. "I'm sure he can, but it's a knight's duty to see his lady to her destination safely. You don't let me spoil you that much, indulge me, Celena."
Another sigh. "Very well, Brother." She smiled. "Thank you." |

After showing the newest resident to his apartment, Riza knew she had to tell her husband as soon as possible. Since escorts weren't necessary inside the individual buildings themselves, Riza let William return to his wife, and headed up to the second floor where Ed had gone to fix up the shelves for Sheska. Riza knocked on the door and waited. |

Al escorted Delilah home with a German Catholic priest in tow. This hadn't been his idea, but unfortunately, it would seem his sister-in-law knew little or nothing of the religious stance on relationships like his brother's with Alfons back in Germany, and seemed quite oblivious that she was inviting home a potential powder keg. But she'd spoken up before he could say anything, and he couldn't quite take back her offer to bring him here so he might secure lodging, not without sounding like a royal asshole in the process.
That was something his brother was better at anyway, so he'd let Ed handle this if it became a problem.
They walked around to the office entrance, where he expected to see his brother and Riza. Well, he did see his brother and Riza...just... not the brother he was expecting.
"New potential resident," he announced as he stepped in ahead of Delilah and the priest. He hoped Riza could interpret the 'well aw shit' look he briefly shot her at that. |

Sarah PINs in directly from the question area to her apartment, taking several minutes to have a very quiet and very, very needed freak out. After about ten minutes she knocks on the door to her homunculus fiancee's apartment, finally calm enough to hopefully not make him freak out any more than he already will at this news.

After checking out the going-ons around the sign for anything interesting, Anna did what she actually came there to do in the first place- stop by the Elric Apartments to check up on the landlord and his family to see how they were settling in with their deal with the Gate, and answer any questions.
She considered going in by way of the office, but changed her mind and rang the buzzer instead. |

At some point during the last few days, a fair amount of snow has built up on the grounds. While there's certain to already be a snowman or two that's been built by the kids, who says the adults (or supposed adults can't want to have a little fun with it, too? It's not like there isn't enough snow on the ground for a possible snowball fight of epic proportions.
Anyway, this is why Ed's lurking about in hiding with a supply of ammunition. Ammunition that just might get aimed at you from his hiding spot behind a random bush.

| This is Halloween, everybody make a scene~ |

It's well into October now, month of ghosts and ghouls and other scary things, and Sarah has decided that the apartment complex is in need of some decorations. To get into the spirit, of course! There are of course several small cloth ghosts hanging from any tree branch or awning that Sarah and Tsuri could get to, as well as a few plastic pumpkin decorations sitting out on the front porches to both buildings (the real Jack-o-Lanterns will wait until they won't be rotting by Halloween).
There has, however, been a personal touch to one large decoration hanging from a tree nearest to the front gate. It's a largish cloth doll, crudely stitched together in resemblance to a certain incarnation of a common annoyance to the residents of the buildings, with several wooden spikes jammed into the torso and head of it. The sign hanging about its neck stating 'ROTTING BITCH' was a nice touch, if she does say so herself.
Sarah is sitting on the front porch of the second building at the moment, admiring her handiwork as she and her fire-lizard chow down on some pumpkin bread. Care to comment? |

Ed shows up at Sarah's apartment door in mid-morning the day after this thread, knocking on it and hoping she hasn't gone to classes or something already. They had a manager to talk to, even if he had to drag Sarah over to the other's apartment. |
