After pointing things out outside, Al takes the new alts into the first apartment building to go upstairs.
"Ed, I'm telling you right now that Dad's likely also in the apartment assuming he isn't out doing something. So behave," he warns before knocking on the door. |

After Izumi was done visiting with the Collective, Ed takes her over to the office, loaning her one of Sarah's coats for the trip.
"If he's not the one in there, it'll likely be Riza," he tells her. "He got married to the Riza Hawkeye from his world."
"I see. And all this is his doing?" Izumi says, taking another look around. Now that she has a coat on to keep her warm, she's taking more time to look at her surroundings.
Ed nods. "Yeah. Other people maintain the grounds, but he's the one that set this place up. Next place on the list is a gym so we'll have a place to train when the weather is too nasty out for it to be a good idea to do so outside."
By now, they've reached the office and Ed knocks on the door and opens it; poking his head in to smile brightly at his alternate. "You'll never guess who Sarah brought home." |
