	It ain't just annoying. It's suspicious. Not to mention all the talk about protecting us like we ain't ever been through nothin' before. 	Talk like that would have pissed me off when I was younger too. They probably do mean well, but its still annoying to read or hear. Especially when you've had to look out for yourself for any length of time. Have you talked about this to whoever made the rule? (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

No, just another 'well-meaning adult.' What're they gonna say? Okay, you don't need it since you been through so much stuff already you can obviously take care of yourself?

	Hopefully people here are outliers and don't want anything in return. I haven't been here long enough to get a feel on everyone. There probably are going to be some people who show up and need it. 	Let me know what you think when you do? Yeah that's what I figured. Just 'cos I've been through it and learned to cook and everything for myself, not everyone is like that. There are people my age in my world who aren't like that. Plus there's the jar of money you can take from. Best not to say anything at all, and that way I can maybe just go unnoticed.
