What: A rare fight & a change of guard for Toby

When: On the heels of this thread.
Warnings/Rating: Some harsh langauge. Toby-anger. Jan-anger.

( Toby was always quiet, but this was the angry sort of quiet that belied seething, churning thoughts, despite tight-pressed lips, and, in truth, it scared Jan more than yelling. He didn’t like being in trouble or falling out of anyone’s favor, especially Toby’s. )

Warnings/Rating: You know Toby & Jan. Lots of brotherly feels.

( Toby knew it wasn't a promise he could easily keep, but he had always done his best to keep the darkness away from his siblings, and that wasn't about to stop just because they were adults now. )

WHAT: A pirate and a princess walk into a wood. There are a few questions, little answers, and no one really leaves more enlightened than when they arrived.

( There was a pale form hovering just on the edge of his field of vision, a smear of white surrounded by varying gradients of black, and the man was almost afraid. )

What: A meeting of brothers in a tavern
Where: Enchanted Forest
When: Not long after the crossing over
Warnings/Rating: Cupcake tears.

( There was no mistaking who this person was, not with as familiar as he was with his brother, his presence, his very person, but October also knew that his brother would just call trouble upon himself by acknowledging him in this place. )

Warnings/Rating: Cuties.

( The sound bounced, it reverberated against plain painted plaster and the ceilings in a way that made the piano (not large but neither was it grand, it was tuned well but the sound that it made was an ordinary sort of thing) resound, the music made stronger in a way pleasant on the ear. )

What: Dragging Toby home.
Where: The hospital Toby works at.
When: Backdated to.. a while ago?
Warnings/Rating: Cuteness.

( The intricacies of dishonesty were very often lost on Jan. He lacked the judicious sort of mind messy business such as that required. He never could keep any of the details straight and it all made him feel horribly guilty - especially when the person he was lying to was Toby. )
