I awoke early this morning to take a brisk run around the campus. The beauty of the landscape was yet u marred by the drone of hundreds of feet trekking to and fro. It was, quite simply, a beautiful sight. It served as a good reminder that tranquility can be found even in the most dismal of places.in other news, I feel that I am getting closer to excelling in potions more so than ever before even with that rather odd mix up the other day. It's a nice feeing to better oneself.

It is always good to get the first week of classes done and find the rhythm again. It is different in that it is for many of us the last year. At some point it will be necessary to figure out the next step, but that will depend on what develops this year. It is poised to be transformative whether one wants it to be or not. and there will be an opportunity to learn new things about who each of us are.

WHAT IN THE ACTUAL FUCK. Oh my god, our room now looks like pigeons popped some molly, then proceeded to have a dance party all over the fucking place.

I'm literally covered in every feather there ever has been.

It's like a pillow fight happened, except it wasn't sexy, it wasn't in underwear, and there were NO women involved. Just massacring precious sleeping instruments, and disrupting my me time.

All because Jackson had to pick now to have his most recent mental breakdown.

Sometimes, I do wonder how my fellow housemates are capable of having so much energy when none of them ever seem to sleep. Whether it's the incident of the evening, or any other caused by one of them, they're always up.

That being said, has anyone heard anything more about the Death Eaters? I'm up and curious about it. After all that happened, there seems to be a lot of quiet on the news front all of a sudden...

Alright Hogwarts, Michael Meru here. I figured that as Head boy, I should probably say hi and remind everyone that the new semester is a chance to be who you really want to be and succeed. It's a new year after all and a new start! The regular school rules apply as always. Curfew will be enforced by prefects and teachers. The forbidden forest is always forbidden. (Especially to all the magical creatures fans.) And if you see smoke coming from the eastern corridor on the third floor, please just ignore it. It will go away quickly.

Now for Ravenclaws! Quidditch tryouts are this Friday. Remember, we're going to win this season and best of all, we're going to beat Gryffindor. So let's get some fresh blood out there and eager to play, right?

Also, I just want to remind people that should they wish to find me for my birthday tomorrow. I will not be in the lab. I know how much that pissed everyone off last year.
