Who: Tierney and Christer
Where: The Regent Hotel
When: Morning

While she'd had no idea how she had gotten back here, Tierney was secretly relieved to wake up in that damn hotel room again. She would have prefered to wake up back home, but this was a slight improvement from that weird medival place she'd been the last couple of days. Sitting up in bed, she looked around the room to get her bearings. It was only a moment or two before she jumped up and hurried to her bag to dig through it. Pulling out a large plastic bag, she began removing numerous little orange precription bottles, carefully lining them on the floor in front of her. After checking the label of each, she then went though each, counting the pills in each container as she mumbled to herself.

So concerned with the medications, it took a moment before she noticed the shadow cast on the ground, hoving over her. Startled, she jumped slightly and looked behind her. Spotting the faceless, suited figure, Tierney frowned and hastily put her things away, pocketing a handful of different colored and shaped pills. "Who the hell are you?" Getting no response, and feeling uneasy at being watched, she stood and hurried out of her room. She needed to take her medication and doing it on an empty stomach was definitely a bad idea. Hopefully she could kill a few birds with one stone: lose this creeper following her, score a snack, and get back onto her med schedule sooner rather than later.

Looking for Answers

Who: Christer and Tierney
Where: Near the stables
When: Afternoon

Christer was trying not to focus too much on his feelings around Lindsey, her knight, and himself, which had him throwing himself into his job which wasn’t even his real job, but he’d been suited to work in the stables just like had been at home. He worked until he was exhausted, finally sitting outside the stables with something that mustered for lunch, watching people pass. They were staring at him again, blonde hair hanging in his eyes, but more than that, he’d gone down to just a flimsy shirt with shorter sleeves, showing off the tattoos that trailed up and down his arms. He knew that was what they were looking at. They always were.

Tierney had met Sullivan, and gone with him to the tournament. But at some point, she’d wandered off and wasn’t able to catch up with him again. She wasn’t worried about it, if they really did come from the same hotel, they’d cross paths again. And if not, she’d survive. With his watch, which she didn’t have to steal after all. Bonus. She was doing a little exploring now when she spotted the tattooed blonde. Well, that didn’t seem to fit the way most other people looked around here. And that was a good thing. Approaching him, she didn’t bother to lean down, she was short enough that he wouldn’t have to look up very high to see her face. “Hey. Nice ink.”

Ribbons and Curls

Who: Christer and Lindsey
Where: Outside the combat ring
When: Morning

Lindsey had livened up her livery that morning with ribbons. They were subtle, the same colors as in the crest, tied around wrists, elbows, and shoulders. They gave the outfit a little bit more of a feminine touch without being ridiculous. At least in her mind which was what mattered to Lindsey. She wasn't thrilled with the mostly drab clothing so she was making do and amusing herself in the process. It felt necessary anyway as a means to support her knight on the sidelines while he competed. Which was seriously exciting for Lindsey. Of course, she didn't like seeing the real danger and some of the bloody things that transpired but when it was pure action without that stuff, it was like watching a really amazing movie. Live.

She sat to the side and out of the way of the rest of the throng of onlookers in the makeshift stands. She'd seen those things being erected and she was not risking breaking her neck when they collapsed. Nope. Plus she could see better from where she sat and she was more accessible to Finn and Norman should they need her. Not that she was all that helpful at this stage. She had already lodged her dainty refusal to clean blood from swords. That should not be a girl's job, right? So it was simply time for sideline cheerleading even if she did get some strange looks.

Complicated

Who: Lindsey and Christer
Where: Around the encampment
When: Afternoon

Lindsey had done her due diligence. She hoped. She’d done inventory and sharpened blades and oiled saddles and all sorts of thing she’d never thought she’d ever have to do in her lifetime. Every bit of it had been interesting thing and she wasn’t unhappy to have done it. Finn was adorable and so was Norman and so nothing felt unpalatable. Still there were nagging parts of her that wondered where Caleb was. After her last run-in with him when she’d kinda had a meltdown she felt terrible. And where was Christer? She couldn’t picture him in this setting but the fact that people who had been in the hotel before were here now? She kind of held out some hope. So she’d taken herself sightseeing once she’d finished her squirely duties as far as she knew. Plus she kind of was going to a big banquet. She needed to try on clothes. That last bit was her excuse for being out there to find Christer and she made the most of it. Trying on lavish gowns that made her look much older than she was.

Christer had woken up in the stables. It was weird, but almost soothing. At least the animals were familiar and the outdoors were familiar. That was about where it ended though. Everything was from a different time, even his clothes and it took Christer some time to adjust. There'd been work to do though which honestly had helped and after a few hours he was more focused on that than anything else.

Curiosity

Who: Lindsey and Ivanya, later Christer
Where: Lobby
When: Late Afternoon

Lindsey had wait for quite a while after Christer tried the front door and disappeared. So long that she started hearing her tummy growl. Either he'd really been the one who was going to get them out of here or he'd found somewhere else to be. Whichever it was, she couldn't stay in the lobby anymore. She'd gone upstairs to her room, ordered food, and eaten it without really tasting it much. She probably couldn't have said what she'd even eaten once she'd grabbed her laptop and brought it back down to the lobby. Just for good measure too, she'd put on kitty ears and drawn whiskers on her face for the shits and giggles. She opened the laptop, started up Spotify, and danced around the lobby to the likes of Feed Me, Diplo, and deadmau5 as she pulled all the cushions off all the couches and put them in a pile. She made sure to turn the volume up pretty loudly to annoy Sally at the front desk as she set about to make the fort by herself since Christer didn't seem to be coming back.

Not Where He Planned to Be

Who: Christer and Open
Where: Someone's Room
When: afternoon

At Lindsey's suggestion, Christer tried the door out of the hotel, hoping he'd wind up outside of it. She'd said he could be the one the one to get out and to get them help. It was all the motivation he needed. Only when he went through the door, Christer felt weird at first and then he was blinking, staring at somewhere that definitely wasn't outside of the hotel. No he was standing in another room, one he was sure wasn't his.

Looking for the Secret Garden

Who: Christer and Lindsey
Where: around the hotel
When: morning

Christer woke with a jolt, reaching for his gun, not finding it, but still feeling as if he was falling back against bed again. What a dream. He’d been helping track a bear. A big bear. It was invading campsites and stealing food and scaring campers. They were going to pull it back further into the forest to keep it and the campers safe. But he wasn’t there. He was in bed. Which...wasn’t his bed. Christer sat up, looking around himself and not sure where he was at all. He ran his hand through his hair, feeling out of place in his uniform in the bed hurrying out of it so he didn’t get anything dirty. And it was weird. How had he gotten here?

The bag was his, full of his things, but it all felt weird. He looked around the room then found the note. That was super strange. It left Christer changing into something less wrinkled and less official, just a t-shirt and jeans, then heading out of his room to see where exactly he was.
