Who: Ella and Tierney
Where: The Regent Hotel
When: Around noon

When Ella woke up in her hotel room she was both relieved and annoyed. She was relieved to be in familiar surroundings again, but annoyed because she still didn't have her freedom, which meant she wouldn't be seeing her family any time soon. A part of her was starting to really enjoy Lavel, especially because she could walk around and explore as she pleased and she had been yanked away from it all so suddenly. Now that she was back in the hotel she was stuck there with no way of escaping and there was nothing she could do to change that. She considered complaining to management again, but she knew that didn't get her far last time. She was convinced it wouldn't get her far this time. In fact, the only thing she would accomplish was to get herself pissed off which was an emotion she wasn't in the mood to feel right now.

Since a lot happened while in Lavel she was going especially slow that morning. She took her time waking up and slept in for as long as possible, eventually rolling out of bed for breakfast then rolling back into bed to get more shut eye. It wasn't until roughly eleven forty-five in the morning that she woke up for good and hopped in the shower. As she was brushing her teeth while waiting for the conditioner to soak into her hair she heard laughter. She finished up her brushing, rinsed her hair out and peeked out of her shower. "Hello?" she called. The laughter continued. It was children's laughter and it caused her to end her shower then and there. She exited the bathroom and found an outfit to wear quickly. The laughter sounded like it was coming from the room next door. She wondered why there would be children in this hotel. She knocked on the door to the room next to hers, but no one was answering the door. She couldn't stop herself from asking out loud, "What's going on around here?"

Hiding Out

Who: Tierney and Ella
Where: The Catherdral
When: Night time

During her first few hours of wandering around the place she came to know as Lavel, Tierney was still in a bit of denial. None of this seemed real and she couldn't be sure that any of the people she'd encountered were actual people and this all just wasn't a dream world. But once the animals started attacking shit got real, fast. Thankfully, Tierney knew what to do in an emergency, so she was able to quickly draw from her frame of reference. And the best thing to do in this situation was run. Which she did, as fast as she could. She took shelter in the church, and waited until things seemed to calm down outside. But as night fell, she was even less inclined to go outside, not if there were still rabid-like animals ready to attack. So instead, she waited, and wandered about the cathedral.

Who: Ella and Ash
Where: Around the grounds
When: Around noon

Ella was still trying to make sense of everything that had occurred to her in the last twenty-four hours. She went to bed slightly buzzed and woke up in a strange new place with clothing she would never be caught dead wearing. It didn't take her long to realize she wasn't in her own time period and the first question that entered her mind was - how did I get here? You would think that the clothes alone would be a dead giveaway about her location (not necessarily how she got there), but no the atmosphere was what convinced her this was real and the strange new smells she was encountering verified that. She looked down, noticing the colors and pattern of her attire and wondered if it meant anything. She decided to spend the day looking for people wearing similar outfits and quickly learned the significance once she did. The information intrigued her.

It took her a few hours to accept her new reality, but she soon found herself embracing it and deciding to make the best of this situation. This was a new place to explore and she was going to seize the opportunity to do just that. She liked the change of scenery, especially because back at the hotel she was starting to get a little stir crazy. At first it was amusing to try to leave only to end up in someone's room or a utility closet, but after a while she was certain it would get old - not that she knew for a fact since she had only tried to leave twice and both times she ended up in some random closet. As she walked around the grounds of Lavel she took the time to notice who was around, what they were doing and since she knew her role in this place it was easy to return to her duties if she felt bored by the amount of free time on her hands.

Twenty Questions

Who: Edison and Ella
Where: Outside his room then around the hotel
When: late morning

Edison had really enjoyed talking to Kennedy and despite the weird waking up in the hotel that didn’t make sense, things weren’t really as bad as they could be. He’d not slept much just an hour or two, passing time on his computer, reading through things to show Kennedy at a later point, things that she might deem interesting and he was awake when he heard breakfast arrive. That itself wasn’t a bad deal and he brought it in to munch on food before getting dressed and deciding to head out again. He packed his laptop, wanting to have it on hand if he happened to run into Kennedy, but his real goal was to explore the hotel, really take it in and see what he could learn from it.

Ella wasn’t pleased about waking up yet again in the hotel, but at least she didn’t have a nightmare that night. She felt a little unsure about her safety, even though nothing had happened to threaten her well being. Nothing out of the ordinary had happened to her during her stay thus far other than the issues she had with her phone the day before. She was still waiting for the right moment to try one of the doors leading outside to see what part of the hotel it would lead her to.

After eating her breakfast she grabbed her things and headed out of her room to explore. She was browsing some of the games she had on her phone when it slipped out of her hands and broke into a few pieces. Ella muttered some profanity under her breath as she gathered the battery, sim card, the back of the phone and started to put the pieces back together. “Stupid phone, stupid lotion,” she said as she kneeled on the floor outside of the door her phone had broken in front of. She didn’t stop to think about it. She just needed her phone working again.

Who: Kyle and Ella
Where: Around the hotel
When: Around lunch time

Ella listened to some of her favorite songs on her iPhone for twenty minutes. She listened to forget where she was, to forget she had missed work and to wonder whether or not she was missed by her family. She couldn’t believe she had been plucked away from family so abruptly, but she was trying to make the best of it. Besides she had been arguing with them lately so some time apart could do a lot of good. A few minutes into her music marathon she heard a knock on the door and upon opening it realized it was lunch time. There was a cart outside her room with food on it and she wheeled it inside. It didn’t take her long to finish the tuna wrap, bottle of water and apple she had been provided.

Once listening to music grew tiresome she decided now was a good time to draw. Unfortunately as she rifled through her bag she didn’t see any newspapers. She would need them if she intended on sketching. The medium she loved using, charcoal, had a habit of staining surfaces if you weren’t careful and since she didn’t know who was paying for her stay at this hotel she wasn’t going to risk being charged for damages. She grabbed her room key and headed out in search of newspaper, taking her sketch pad and box of charcoal with her too. She hoped there was some available and that the lady at the front desk would be nice this time. She wasn’t in the mood for another rude encounter with her.

Got You In the Zone

Who: Adam and Ella
Where: The Throne Room
When: Evening

After Ella spoke with Lindsey she felt she needed a drink badly. All of this was too overwhelming for her and it still didn't make any sense. She returned to her room to look through her bag and see if anything useful had been packed in there. The more she looked through the bag the more she realized she didn't remember packing it, yet another strange thing to add to the list of things she couldn't explain. Unfortunately there was nothing in her bag that could help her get out of the hotel. In fact she didn't even have her laptop in her bag, which she chalked up to her forgetfulness. She was always leaving it behind in different places and so it made sense that she wouldn't have packed it.

Luckily she had her iPhone on her and she proceeded to call her job to explain her situation, but the phone just kept ringing. Why was no one picking up her call? After a minute or two she gave up and dialed her parents. The same thing happened. She ended up calling two more before she realized there was something wrong with her phone or maybe it was the place she was in; either way she felt frustrated and so she proceeded to explore the hotel some more. It didn't take her long to stumble upon the ballroom and more importantly the bar within. She didn't see anyone around so she proceeded to make herself a sex on the beach. She usually drank cape cods but she was in the mood for a change in drink choice.

I Got Memories, This Is Crazy

Who: Ella and Lindsey
Where: Around the hotel
When: Afternoon

Ella woke up from her dream feeling startled. She had been dreaming she was swimming at her favorite beach then suddenly something pulled her under. She kicked and kicked but it wasn't doing her any good. She could feel herself drowning. The water was burning her nose and throat making her believe this was the end until she woke up. She groggily got out of bed and proceeded to the bathroom to wash up. She brushed her teeth then her hair and washed her face. The minute she exited the bathroom she realized she didn't recognize her surroundings. Ella's fear and confusion had distracted her from noticing she wasn't home. She quickly changed out of her pajamas, feeling relieved the minute she saw a bag with her belongings nearby.

She looked around the room for clues regarding her location. That's when she saw the note. She skimmed it then threw it down on her bed out of frustration. She didn't know what she was doing here nor how she got her. Worse yet she was pretty sure she was going to miss her shift at work if she didn't find a way to get out of here soon. She grabbed her hotel room key and headed for the door, but not before throwing on her favorite leather jacket. She walked briskly down the hall of her floor hoping to bump into someone who knew more than she did.
