09:37 am [kagome654] [Link]	It's a guy thing Someone asked for Connor Hawke scans a while back, and while I'd like to post the JLA stuff with the most likable fellow to go by the name 'Green Arrow' I haven't been able to dig it out yet. I'm disorganized. I did find something during my rummaging that I thought was worth posting though. I think almost everyone knows how Ollie died (OMG, SPOILER!?), refusing to let Superman rip his arm off he perished when a plane exploded (well, there was a little more to it than that, but whatever). The heroes all mourn in their own ways until Guy asks something that really should have come up sooner... Hopefully, still enjoyable! It's by no means comprehensive but just some of the ones I saved and liked. There is a rather large first scan under the cut, so dial-up be aware. 09:49 am [kagome654] [Link]	Male bonding on the love boat- 'Three of a Kind' lightbrigade's post reminded me of a story that ran through the Green Lantern, Green Arrow and The Flash comics many years ago entitled 'Three of a Kind.' It was essentially about the three younger heroes bonding on an Alaskan cruise (and fighting some villains along the way). This leads to some interesting speculation on life, love and if Connor is still a virgin. The Arsenal mini-series ran from October 1998 to January 1999 and was written by Devin Grayson with some pretty bad art by Rick Mays. It features Roy Harper aka Speedy aka Arsenal aka Red Arrow and his Issues. And boy, does he have a lot of them, from "Green Arrow never raised me right" (Ollie had died 3 years earlier in our time, more recently in comics time) to "I used to be a drug addict" to "I don't know where I belong!" and the most important one "I can't find a good babysitter!" Including her first appearance in Robin (#4, #5, #6) and her second one (#16) and third! (#25, #26, involves a team up with Connor Hawke). These actually have ALL NEW SCANS for #4, #5, and #26 to make the story flow better with the cuts I had to make. 04:35 pm [batcookies] [Link]	Help finding some Oracle art? A few days before THE GREAT DISASTER, someone posted some pages from a comic that had really great art of Oracle. I'm fairly sure I own the comic and just hadn't read it in a long while, and I've been trying to find it now, but I don't know where to look. I remember it being Oracle with short hair and I think the rectangle-shaped glasses. Ring any bells? ( Under the cut is a picture we really need here. Even when going back through old posts I'd often like to read back and see what people had to say. Some were smart. Some were stupid. Some were witty. Some were funny. All of them suck to loose...
