[Aside from sticking googly eyes on everything, Casey's stay had been mostly uneventful. Which was fine, he would take mostly uneventful. He mostly played music and attempted to write new songs, and bothered Sam, and threw little balled up pieces of paper at Louis in the antique shop.

Today was just such an uneventful day when he returned to Lou's place. Except there was a person there. A person not Lou or Sam. It was the most exciting thing that had happened in eons. So when he walked into the place he looked around briefly just making sure he hadn't stumbled into the wrong place - which obviously he hadn't. But it was better safe than sorry.] Well hello there.

[The morning after this, typing on his phone in bed.]

So, the meeting was strange, but it's over now. I think Claire is going to think it over and get back to me. Daniel's going to stay here for a bit.

[Over the last couple of days (basically since Casey came to town), and likely over the next few days (maybe longer) - Lou is going to be finding some surprises sprinkled throughout his life.
