Inside the front cover is the envelope from Bea, as well as a handwritten note on a torn scrap of notebook paper. In the sort of handwriting that says the owner knows it's bad, but he's really, really, trying, reads:]

Auction in the capital

The Majestic Theatre is closing its doors. All furniture, decor, and props will be auctioned over the weekend next. Among items included are seats, stage lighting, chandelier and other theatre fixtures, props, costumes, theatre memorabilia. Interested parties should attend beginning at 7am.
