News & Log, Carriage House: Janus A/Atticus M/Steve M

[Captain Liberty, it seems, is a vocal critic of the President's immigration policy and the creation of 'tent cities.' The internet is in an understandable flurry. The Captain has detractors and supporters. Lauded by some for speaking out, criticized by others for choosing this issue to come out of hiding for, why not others? Why not before? Then there're those who think he should stick to what he knows: shaking hands, selling bonds. Others see him as the idol of a violent regime with bloody hands now trying to advocate for peace; others see him as as a hippie who defected, now that the history has come out and his testimony at the Winter Soldier Investigation is released. Some think maybe the serum has addled his brain, since it was never tested for longevity. Alzheimer's is cited at least a hundred times in a certain thread of conspiracy theorists and conservatives. Someone(s) divulge they think the man has been a bartender in their small town, and suddenly the Mean-Eyed Cat is of interest to out-of-towners. Someone(s) else shares he's gay, or at least bi (someone else points out a certain woman from the '40s), and suddenly, there's another furor about Captain Liberty being a gay communist planted by the Russians to bring down America from the inside out.

All of this happens in the first 12-hours after Steve reveals himself. After the initial interviews, he is unreachable. Then, after about eight hours, he returns to tell people he considers himself bisexual and leftist, and now he's going home and he wishes them all a good night.]

Who: Janus Allen, Atticus McVickers, & Steve McRory
What: probably getting yelled at
Where: the Carriage House
When: after this
Warnings/Rating: TBD

The interrogation itself wasn't bad. Steve had endured far, far worse, but he was tired by the time he was dropped off at the Carriage House. )
