Is anyone missing a cat? Large, needlessly fluffy and looks at me like it thinks it's better than me. Gender unknown as the only contact we have had is a hissing contest after I found pawprints on the windshield of one of the cars.

The shop does not need a mascot, especially one I potentially have to feed when I forget to feed myself on occasion, more than that I definitely don't need one that keeps eyeballing my tools like they are toys.

I'm not saying I'll set it on fire if it runs off with something, but I could potentially set it on fire if it runs off with something or chews a wire.

Oh. Or maybe it will catch itself on fire. Hmm.

I'm kidding. I doubt it'll come to fire if I don't feed it. Maybe.

What are you doing for Christmas?

[After his reply to the first book, another one arrives the very same day. Again a little battered at the corners (someone's been trolling the second-hand shelves).]

Number two!

[( The deliveries take place over the course of four days. )]

[A bundle of presents arrive that are all hand wrapped with big bows and glitter and it's really out of control. The first gift is a certificate for archery lessons. The second is (and secret santa thinks they're hilarious for this one) a kamasutra book with a note (I heard you like biology ;3). The third is gift card for a comedy steak house in the Capital.]

[Over the course of seven days:

1. The Knitting Bible, along with all required accessories.
2. Knit Kit the First.
3. Knit Kit the Second.
4. Knit Kit the Third, in claret.
6. And a Knit Trip to finish it off, Bronzino package.

Lastly, to prove Santa's not completely clueless, a $100 gift certificate to Musician's Friend. The accompanying note wishes him a happy holiday and is signed with a very poorly done doodle of a Santa hat.]
