Hello, fellow crack!fic addicts! I'm back with some more animal fun.
elvenfixation on LJ asked for some Ted/Blake cat crack!fic, and I couldn't resist such a request.
Title: House Cat and Alley Cat
Characters: Ted and Mel as Siamese house cats. Blake as an alley cat. Lindsay and Gus as humans. Brief mention of doggie!Brian and doggie!Justin.
Rating: PG-2 (in cat years).
Summary: Cat!Ted falls in love with Cat!Blake, who is addicted to garbage.
Word count: 933
A/N: This is a side adventure about the cat!Ted (aka Dumb Cat) from Twinky and the Tramp, a crack!fic I wrote in which Justin and Brian are dogs. Like that series, this standalone is unbeta'ed.

I'm here to present to you my doggie!crack!fic "Twinky and the Tramp"
Title: Twinky and the Tramp
Characters: Justin, a beautiful labradoodle, and Brian, a handsome mutt. And Emmett as Justin's owner. Plus, two cats, a little boy, assorted doggie friends and foe, a flirty squirrel, and the humans who feed them.
Rating: Varies from PG 1-3 (in dog years).
Summary: Doggie!Brian and doggie!Justin meet in a pound, nature takes its course.
A/N: Because this is rushed, un-beta'ed crack!fic, it probably also qualifies as bad!fic.

I just ran across a delightful piece of AU QAF fic that deserves to be read again, imho.
"Queer as Murder" by Shannon Marie has got it all: Homicide Detective Brian Kinney, Shickel Gallery Manager and artist Justin Taylor, most of the rest of the gang with some interesting new characters added for some cracktastic mystery and suspense.

It's worth clicking on the link just to read the chapter titles. My personal favorite is "Blondes on the Brian". Of course it also contains just the right amount of schmoop too.

Hey guys, it's been a while since I posted anything here and there's a few reasons for that but I'd like to jump start things again.
I've read a TON of fic in my day (yes, at one time I'd read everything posted at bjfic.net - twice AND pretty much everything listed in the links section at whatlovemeans) and I want to share it.
It can't all find a home at qaf_retread but some of it holds a very special place in my heart, so I want to rec it here. It might be emo fic that tickles an emotional kink, it might be something fun and/or cracky, or it might be bad fic.
If you're an author and you don't want me to rec your fic, leave me a comment here, they're screened, or email me or PM me. (I'll only unscreen comments that start a discussion but NEVER an author's request.)
My intention with this community was never to hurt anyone's feelings but I like gobbling up fic with my friends and having fun and I miss this asylum. So authors, please keep in mind that while I might not consider everything here canonical or IC, most all of the fics I rec are special to me. |

I read these fics a long time ago, when I first discovered fanfic, and I didn't know enough then to know that they were crack!fic. I knew they weren't exactly Brian and Justin but who cared when the stories were so fun? Not me...and I still don't. I have read a TON of fics like this, they aren't qaf_retread material, but they deserve to be read and enjoyed by all because they have teh love!
