I read these fics a long time ago, when I first discovered fanfic, and I didn't know enough then to know that they were crack!fic. I knew they weren't exactly Brian and Justin but who cared when the stories were so fun? Not me...and I still don't. I have read a TON of fics like this, they aren't ![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/community.gif) qaf_retread material, but they deserve to be read and enjoyed by all because they have teh love!

Author's Note:Uhh...ok. So last night when I was trying to go to sleep THIS plot came into my head and my brain wouldn't let me sleep until I wrote it. I don't even know what to say. It's sorta bad!fic/crack!fic/just weird stuff with Ethan!fic. So read if you wish, dare, have the stomach for it. There are cats in it! I mean really, Lupe is the star, which she is excited about since she didn't even have a cameo on the show. I'm also unsure if I should make it longer, leave it as it is, or act like this never happened and move on. And thanks to dls for reading it, and encouraging me to post it to other places and to happier_bunny who let me post it here!
Who knew that writing WeirdEthan!fic would make me so happy? If only I'd known that was the cure for my mood and my writer's block, I would have, um, cut off my hands? |

We are fandom, so we debate and kvetch and argue and wank until our little fingers are sore, and in the end, who the fuck knows what "crack" is? Who can draw the line between simple humor, bad!fic, deliberate crack, accidental crack, and just plain fucking drags-you-in-by-your-emotional-kinks-and-doesn't-let-you-go-until-it's-over!fic? Alas, not I.
So forget all that. Just come read something funny and intelligent and truly brilliant, and did I mention funny, as in, so funny you will weep tears of joy while reading it.
I won't post an excerpt because they're drabbles and thus, it doesn't really work as well as it does for a longer fic. But let me give you the premise: Brian and Justin wake up trapped in a bad!fic universe. Apparently this happens to them often. Watch as they figure out what they have to do to escape.
Do not blame me if you damage yourself laughing. Blame vamphile.

So, apparently _alicesprings has been organizing her fic bookmarks, and decided that one of the fics she dug up would be just the thing to distract me from my tragic family crisis and my subsequent crack!bunny that tried to take over my brain. (I think I wrestled it into submission and have it chained out in the hutch where I keep bad fic bunnies.)
Anyway, if she thought it would cure me, she was right. I suggest it might be the cure for what ails you as well, and in fact, could single-handedly turn the entire global financial crisis around overnight if more widely disseminated amongst the populace.
In this story, which was written way back in 2002, Justin leaves Brian for Ethan as per canon. However, Ethan is not a violin player. No, he's a rapper. And this fic?
Genius.
By the time Brian finally arrived at 11PM, E-dawg and Justin were all tangled up with each other on the couch. 'I don't believe it!,' Brian thought. 'Justin brought that gold-toothed rap twink into MY loft!' He fumed.
Justin extricated himself from E-dawg's embrace and stood up to Brian, defiantly. "E-dawg loves me! He says I'm all he wants! Tell him, E."
E-dawg pulled up his jeans and smacked his lips. "...iss like dis, dawg. Justin be all up on mah jock. And he gotta ass like da back of a truck, cuz. Fa sheezy mah neezy, you gotcha arms all freezy, but I blingbling it wit spoken word, knamean."
"What the fuck was that?" Brian asked, looking at Justin.
