It is the year 2001, the Wizarding World of Great Britain has been under the Dark Lord's rule for nearly five years. The Golden-trio is only marginally closer to solving the puzzle of victory than they were immediately following their beloved Headmaster's death. Muggleborns have been rounded up and held in cells at Azkaban. Those under the spell of the Complacens potion remain content with the government, but there are those who are beginning to fight it; those few that are beginning to build immunity to the potion and are assembling secretly underground. Where will you be when the world as we now know it burns to the ground? Will you continue to live under the draconian rule of the Dark Lord? Game opened on July 30, 2010. Epic battles are on the horizon, as is the battle between Harry and the Dark Lord, between good and evil. Most wanted characters by other players include: Daphne Greengrass, Arthur Weasley, Molly Weasley, Aberforth Dumbledore, Fenrir Greyback, Sally-Anne Perks, Ministry Workers, Order members, On the Run Muggleborns and more. What if he was somehow able to convince his friend Albus Dumbledore to accompany him--to seek out their ambition of taking over the world and controlling it for the greater good? The Neuen Assistentenauftrag presently controls the majority of the European continent, administered jointly by Chancellor Grindelwald and the Lord Protector Albus Dumbledore. The disciplinary excesses of the Chancellor seem to be held in relative check by the Lord Protector, who is regarded as fondly as the Chancellor is feared. Within the NAA, the highest offense is treason. Those who are able to conform to its laws enjoy the all the freedoms and privileges offered in the world free of the Statute of Secrecy. Britain's integration into the NAA in 1970 was the source of much division within the British magical population. Some argued in favor of allying for the economic benefits and the ideological tenants of egalitarianism within the wizarding community, while others protested yielded power to what appeared to be an increasingly dictatorial regime. In 1978, the British Ministry of Magic operates as a loyal satellite of the NAA. Territories of the NAA are secretly policed by a German-based military division, the Order of the Phoenix, who see little difference between dissent and disloyalty. Over the past few years, an underground resistance has begun to arise in England, a resistance whose acts are becoming increasingly more daring as the death toll of the NAA continues to rise. This is a game reactivation - all old plots will be treated as backstory. |

It's 1977; school's out for Summer, but this Summer feels strange... dark, somehow. It won't be long before school will start again, and Owls from Hogwarts are winging their way across the country with the promise of another perfectly normal year at Hogwarts. Homework will be piled on, the threat of looming exams being beaten into ignorant minds, but for now, at least, it's Summer, yet... something doesn't feel right. It's so much darker this year than it was last year. The days seem to be shortening beyond comprehension. The fog is thick and cold and constant, not to mention the fact that everyone seems so glum. There are disappearances being noted in the newspaper, but everything seems vague, as though someone knows what is going on, but too afraid to voice it aloud. The adults seem a bit on edge, uncertain how to handle the evil that is lurking in the shadows. The students, for the most part, are completely unaware of what is going on, even those whose parents are deep in the throes of swearing their allegiance to one side or another. The students, it seems, live in a world of their own, one untouched by the misery and doom of the outside world. Still, there seems to be something very unpleasant lurking unsaid, something creeping and crawling into the very veins of those it infects. Though there are only whispers, and people are afraid to voice their fears out loud, there are some things that cannot be fought. After all, it's difficult to feel protected by magic when the other side can use it, too. | |

It's 1998 and Wizarding Britain is a very different place. Voldemort controls a puppet Ministry and is seeking to expand his grasp into Europe and, eventually, the world. But he is not unopposed. There are many resistance groups working to keep him from accomplishing his goal and, among these, there is one that stands out from the crowd: The Order of the Phoenix. Secreting Muggleborns out of the country to keep them from enduring the horrors of Ministry-run "work camps", the Order is fighting a losing battle. Their last hope lies with a carefully guarded secret: The identity and location of The Prophesied One. Sic Infit explores the possibilities of what could have happened had James and Lily Potter stuck with Sirius as their Secret Keeper. What could have happened if Harry had never become The Boy Who Lived? What if Lord Voldemort had actually won? |

In 1975, as Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot and Prongs (better known as the Marauders, at least to themselves) enter their 5th year at Hogwarts, the wizarding world as they know it is slowly changing.
Like the first touch of cool rain, dark whisperings are beginning to be heard among wizards, particularly those of the oldest pureblooded families. Something is coming - and as it arrives, the whispers will rise to voices, and eventually all wizards of the world will hear the echoes of screams.
Dark Voices follows the students of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry as they learn to adapt to a changing world. Making friends, forming alliances, standing for what they believe in, and all hoping that they will be left standing in the end.
A new game with over 30 characters, Dark Voices is looking for Peter Pettigrew to join our Marauders. We'd love to have some more Order members to balance out the Death Eaters, and more female Hogwarts students, as there are a lot more boys right now! Hogwarts professors are also welcome.
