It's now 2003 and after five years of healing the Wizarding World is ready to get on with their lives. The Wizengamot has reached the verdict on their last Death Eater trial. And just when everyone begins to breathe again, a family of Muggle-Borns with a brand new baby were brutally murdered. And above their homes the Dark Mark is glowing just as brightly as it had five years ago. The Order and the Ministry are both on the hunt for the Lestranges, the only missing Death Eaters. But the rest of the world is starting to wonder if it's all just smoke and mirrors. Is Voldemort really back from the dead? After all... he's done it before.

THE CODE


HOW TO MODIFY
You can't use the image or the text on top or in the premise section (obviously). It was made by/for [info]doublecrossed. However, the layout's all yours to edit as you'd like.

thanks! it took a lot of time for me to play with stuff to see what REALLY worked for it and i think thats 'the one'. thank you, though. i'm glad people like it!

Now... I'm a total noob where it comes to html, mostly doing learning by doing and I tried to do, but I fail forever. Can you help?

there you go. You just had the colspans on the banner and navigation set wrong (you had it set to three so it only went as far as three tds over). To adjust the text anymore:

valign="top" in a TD takes it to the top
style="padding: #px" adds in whatever number of px when you replace px with a number.

And I think I get what you did there and thanks for the post you linked to, definitely looks very useful and I'm willing to learn.

by the way, something still doesn't look right, I think something with the images? I'll try figuring it out tomorrow, but for now, I need some sleep.
