On the seven-year anniversary of the Battle of Hogwarts, Minister Shacklebolt announces the Ministry of Magic’s intention to begin an experimental live/work community in Hogsmeade Village. For the first time since the Second War, halfbloods, Muggleborns, and purebloods are to reside in complete cooperation and harmony. |

October, 2001. Global nuclear winter. An accident with the Dark Veil and a Time Turner. A portal to New Zealand five million years in the past on an alternate time line. Muggles and Magicals work together to set up settlements on the island. December, 2001. The Dark Veil is making copies of people from other points in time, as far back as 331 BC, and spitting them out five million years in the alternate universe past. The internet lives forever and travels faster than any owl, even without the help of magic. In the technology-saturated world of 2006, wizards are in danger of finding out first-hand what the consequences of that might be. It's getting harder every day for the Ministry to protect its citizens from exposure and the old tried-and-true methods haven't kept pace with muggle advancements. Without hard work, sacrifice and maybe a miracle or two, life as everybody knows it is doomed to change forever and they're running out of time to stop it. There are those who don't believe revealing magic to muggles would be such a terrible thing, however. Among them is a shadowy new group whose methods are unknown but whose motives have recently become clear. They want the Statute of Secrecy overturned, regardless of the consequences, and they aren't willing to wait forever. They've already started taking steps to force the Ministry's hand and although they seem unwilling to break the masquerade themselves, nobody knows if or when that might change. If you're not with them, you're against them - an "enemy of wizard-kind" whose name has been posted on a list of others like you. It's a list that's growing smaller as threats are made, blood is spilled and names are crossed off once and for all. | |

It is the year 2001, the Wizarding World of Great Britain has been under the Dark Lord's rule for nearly five years. The Golden-trio is only marginally closer to solving the puzzle of victory than they were immediately following their beloved Headmaster's death. Muggleborns have been rounded up and held in cells at Azkaban. Those under the spell of the Complacens potion remain content with the government, but there are those who are beginning to fight it; those few that are beginning to build immunity to the potion and are assembling secretly underground. Where will you be when the world as we now know it burns to the ground? Will you continue to live under the draconian rule of the Dark Lord? Game opened on July 30, 2010. » It's 2011, and you're stepping into another decade. The worst thing on the horizon as far as life is concerned might be the fact that the knob who's two cubicles down from you is about to steal your promotion right from under you just when it's within your reach. Or maybe that person you never liked in Hogwarts is now your boss. Your girlfriend is itching for you to propose, because damn it, you're thirty, or almost there (even if you don't actually want to admit it), and you've been together long enough as far as she's concerned that you two should take the next step. Just as easily, you could be investing in yet another dress robe to add your closet, always the bridesmaid but never the bride. The kids are driving you just a bit crazy, you and your spouse argue too often, and the love of your life that you've never really gotten over has moved on. Then again, it could be that in the past thirteen years, you've managed to not reach even one single goal you'd initially set for yourself when you first stepped out into the world and called yourself an adult, which... probably sucks because your best mate is almost equal to the dictionary definition of success. But, you know, even still all is well, right? HA. « |

On May 02, 1998, a battle broke out at Hogwarts. The battle. Students, professors, creatures, The Order and Death Eaters alike fought hard for their beliefs. And then, Harry came forward, and history was made when he defeated Voldemort. Peace does not come easy though. There was a heavy price and they're only just beginning to pay it. May 02 is a trio-era game set in the wake of the Final Battle. Picking up the day of and just after the ending of the final battle, we will follow our beloved characters as they grieve, fight and work to rebuild their lives, and attempt to find their place in the world as it stands now. But it certainly won't come easy. MAY 02 is a game that started immediately post-war with the goal of playing out the interesting dynamics of what might have happened during that time. While not epilogue (or interview) compliant, the game is set strictly in canon, with a few additions for a realistic feel. As it stands now, the Hogwarts year has just started, and the Quidditch season is kicking up but there are still two Death Eaters on the loose to cause problems, even as attempts to move forth are being made. |
