The Wizarding World is under attack. Two murders in the last month have witches and wizards on edge and purists thinking the tables have been turned, because now they're the ones dying.

Who killed Draco Malfoy and William Greengrass? Recently released Death Eaters angry at cohorts who didn't go to Azkaban? Former Order Members taking their revenge now that they're free again? Or a child grown up in the years of peace, seeking justice, revenge, or a whole new war?

Who's next on their list?

Verso is a Harry Potter AU murder mystery game that explores what happens when the tables are turned. Will the Order reform and defend known and suspected purists? Will the DMLE take the threat seriously? Will the former Death Eaters brush up on rusty skills to exact revenge? Clues will be dropped with each murder, allowing players the opportunity to solve the crimes... but how many people will die first?

It took the Wizarding World two years to get to Knockturn Alley. They'd rebuilt Hogwarts, the Ministry, and St. Mungo's, and properly celebrated the heroes and punished the villains. When Lisa Turpin bought the dilapidated old White Wyvern Pub on the now-renamed Victory Road people told her she was crazy. Ten Months later, in December of 2000, The Victory Bar (V-Bar) opened and began a time of renewal for the formerly Dark neighborhood. Not long after, Melinda Bobbin opened Sweet Nothings, a charming and high-end patisserie. Soon, more businesses moved in and by 2008 the street is a bustling reminder of what good can come from the darkness, if only one believes.

Join your favorite familiar wizarding faces - and some new ones - as life goes on ten years after the war that changed them all. We're a brand new, friendly social RP (started July 11th!) with a game-wide plot starting soon. Kingsley Shacklebolt has called elections for Minister for Magic at the end of his first full 7-year term - eccentric inventor Gaspard Shingleton is running against the stalwart Auror and the campaign is set to begin!

In 1981 the Wizarding War ended with the death of Voldemort. In 1999, the Order Members and Death Eaters who went to Azkaban were pardoned and released. As the Wizarding world struggles to adjust, a new threat looms. Soon, people will be attacked by an unknown foe. Only this time, it isn't Muggleborns and their sympathizers who are in danger. It's purists.

In 1981 Peter Pettigrew kidnapped Harry Potter and brought him to Lord Voldemort. The resulting battle ended the Wizarding war. Harry Potter survived, as did his parents, but Voldemort was dead, Dumbledore was missing and presumed dead, and many Death Eaters and Order Members alike were in Azkaban.

Now, in 1999, the political tide has changed. Faced with the reality that exposure to Dementors is inhumane, the Ministry has closed Azkaban and granted all the prisoners a full pardon.

As the Wizarding world struggles to adjust, a new threat looms. People are being attacked by an unknown foe. Only this time, it isn't Muggleborns and their sympathizers who are in danger. It's purists.

The Year Above is a long-term game which follows one group of Hogwarts students through their school career and beyond. We begin in 1990 with our young people starting Hogwarts and the first year (the year before Harry Potter attends Hogwarts) will be mainly a social game, with events becoming darker and more complicated in later years as we follow the timeline of the books. How will they react to Harry Potter starting Hogwarts? Muggle-borns being petrified? A crazed killer being on the loose from Azkaban? The game emphasis is on character development and will provide the opportunity for a truly representative experience of the rise and fall of friendships, the highs and lows of growing up, and how 'ordinary' people are affected by war.

Its just a STITCH IN TIME

It’s 1980. The magical world is caught in the clutches of the first Wizarding War and You-Know-Who is an ever-present threat to the entire wizarding community. His Death Eaters run riot every other night, waking families from their sleep and burning lives to the ground. At the centre of it all, the Order of Phoenix is doing its best to stand firm, and pull some sense of normality back to the world.


Somewhere in the middle of Ministry of Magic, hidden in the department of Mysteries, a single rogue spell was fired. No’one knows who did it. Or why. Or how. All they can tell us is, ever since that day, people have been stumbling out of a doorway which, until now, had always been locked.


These people are not of this time. But now they’re here, and they’re stuck in a world that is falling apart around them.

Tutis Tempus, a HP RPG (post-DH, not epilogue compliant) that merges the Harry Potter universe with a Terra Nova-like world. The Dark Veil is pulling people from other points in time, as far back as 331 BC, randomly, and depositing them five million years in the alternate universe past. In September, tectonic plates shifted to collide Zealandia with Australia and the Settlements are expanding.

Who We Are

The Last Station is what you get nine months after your regular town game and your Harry Potter post-war game meet in a bar for drunken shenanigans.

We are looking for creative and eager individuals who want to get involved in a collaborative community where plots are largely character-driven but mod support is available where needed. We're not fussy about how short or long your thread replies are, so long as they're what's true to your character. We like canon continuity but turn a blind eye on the epilogue (is there anyone out there who actually likes it?). We're slash-, het-, and femme-friendly, but we do also encourage the development of lines outside the romantic. We're in this to have fun, so we'll do our best to make sure it stays that way for everyone too.

    The year is 1904. The second industrial revolution is sweeping the Muggle world, and machines are accomplishing feats only wizards could once perform. Goblins have control of Gringotts, centaurs are plotting assassinations, and vampire hunts are in full force. Colonists are returning from the Far East, Africa, Arabia, Oceania, and the Americas with new ideas and foreign magics. Muggle populations are expanding into wizarding areas, and more Muggleborns than ever are attending wizarding schools.

    Premise

    May 2, 2005. On the seven-year anniversary of the Battle of Hogwarts, Minister Shacklebolt announces the Ministry of Magic’s intention to begin an experimental live/work community in Hogsmeade Village. For the first time since the Second War, halfbloods, Muggleborns, and purebloods are to reside in complete cooperation and harmony.

    Game opens June 20th.

    June 2nd, 2001. The final executions are nearly carried out, the Dark Lord is gone, the Death trials finalized and the appeals exhausted. Eight of the most infamous terrorist of the Second Wizarding War will die at midnight.

    But no man wants to die, and these convicts have other ideas, other plans and resources inside the execution chamber. Before anyone realizes it, they've vanished- gone back to a time when no one will look for them.

    Trouble is, they're not the only ones.


    June 2nd, 1941. One last Air Raid. One last night of fear and fire, of foreign bombs landing on London streets. The end may not yet be on the horizon, but the darkest of nights are almost over.

    Hallowed Times has been open and active since September of 2012. Just some of the big events that you've missed include:

    • A Halloween Fair that included a controversial Haunted Maze
    • The Internships where students partied with Rockstars, did a lot of paperwork and got fired for the first time.
    • A Yule Dance that included a roving bunch of mistletoe.

    [info]hallowed_times is an eighth year epilogue compliant game that follows the students back to Hogwarts for one final year of schooling where they are given the chance to relive being 'just students' before having to go out in to the world to become adults. The game includes overreaching plot, but also includes social interaction and the rebuilding of Hogwarts and the Wizarding World. Eighth year students have special allowances that include access to special education opportunities as well as the freedom to work jobs off Hogwarts Grounds on the weekends.

    We are a non flashy game that focuses on the enjoyment of writing characters with added elements of plot.

    Hallowed Times has been open and active since September of 2012. Just some of the big events that you've missed include:

    • A Halloween Fair that included a controversial Haunted Maze
    • The Internships where students partied with Rockstars, did a lot of paperwork and got fired for the first time.
    • A Yule Dance that included a roving bunch of mistletoe.
    • A New Years Eve House Party that got a little out of hand.
    • A Valentines Day Date Auction, where the girls got to buy dates with their favorite boys.

    Upcoming:
    • The Official Hogwarts Open House, come see the Weird Sisters!
    • Old School Switcheroo Plots! Those were always fun.
    • QUIDDITCH! It's Qudditch, need we say more? It's Ravenclaw vs Hufflepuff for the cup!
    • A few more parties. There's always parties.

    [info]hallowed_times is an eighth year epilogue compliant game that follows the students back to Hogwarts for one final year of schooling where they are given the chance to relive being 'just students' before having to go out in to the world to become adults. The game includes overreaching plot, but also includes social interaction and the rebuilding of Hogwarts and the Wizarding World. Eighth year students have special allowances that include access to special education opportunities as well as the freedom to work jobs off Hogwarts Grounds on the weekends.

    We are a non flashy game that focuses on the enjoyment of writing characters with added elements of plot.

    Culture. Blood. Friendship.
    There was a time when the lines were clear and the boundaries firm. That time died with Voldemort.

    Now, a generation who thought they'd already won the war are finding out that the war was a symptom, not the disease. Arguments over blood status have shifted focus but remain no less heated. Accusations are both far flung and festering quietly as light and dark fade to the background and new battles are begun.

    Schism is a social game with deeper game-wide plots as well. Set in real time, it revolves around the lives of those left to rebuild the Wizarding world and their struggle to see it become what they want it to be.
