1979 is winding toward its own close. Conflicts between the Order of the Phoenix and the Death Eaters continue as Dark Lord continues pressing for dominion of the Wizarding world, and the Ministry will not stand for it. With the rise of a new administration five years ago, Britain has seen the situation grow more and more tense as all three sides raise the stakes one after another.
Laws prohibit travel without Ministry approval, and increasingly, democracy seems to be giving way to a police state. Muggleborns and their advocates disappear in the night as terrorists spill innocent blood in the streets. Pureblood manors are burned and ransacked as an organization for peace lashes out to fight fire with fire. Chaos ensues.
The loudest question on everyone's minds and lips is the simplest: who will win?
No one is certain, and no one is certain what will be left for those winners when the smoke clears.

It is the year 2001, the Wizarding World of Great Britain has been under the Dark Lord's rule for nearly five years. The Golden-trio is only marginally closer to solving the puzzle of victory than they were immediately following their beloved Headmaster's death. Muggleborns have been rounded up and held in cells at Azkaban. Those under the spell of the Complacens potion remain content with the government, but there are those who are beginning to fight it; those few that are beginning to build immunity to the potion and are assembling secretly underground. Where will you be when the world as we now know it burns to the ground? Will you continue to live under the draconian rule of the Dark Lord? Game opened on July 30, 2010. Epic battles are on the horizon, as is the battle between Harry and the Dark Lord, between good and evil. The wizarding world fell into peaceful times following Harry's seventh year at Hogwarts. Unfortunately, peace doesn't last forever. Painswick University is the oldest wizarding university in the United Kingdom. Nestled in the hills of England, Painswick has been home to the academics of the wizarding world. With a vast program of studies in a small town with a personal feel, Painswick can offer incredible opportunities to witches and wizards looking to further their educational journey. We see Painswick University as a fantastic opportunity for more adult character development and a chance to put the Harry Potter canon in a new environment. But what would happen if the Muggles found out about the wizarding world? And what if, among the Muggles, there was a group keen on causing a stir akin to the Salem Witch Trials? In this AU Harry Potter generation RP, Painswick University shows us just what can happen when the wizarding world as a whole comes under attack. |

There are tons of games out there about the Next Generation. But what about the in between? That's where Baby Bumped comes in! The year is 2003 and our favorite Trio characters are settling down. Many are married, a few have children. But the majority are pregnant. The Daily Prophet proclaims the baby boom to come in a few short months but in the grand scheme of things, it isn't all that important. Most are focused on their families and domestic bliss, though of course all aren't so blissfull. All is peaceful in the Wizarding World, but who's to say that it will stay this way. After all, the good guys are just starting to let their gaurds down and it would be the perfect time for the baddies to attack.
Baby Bumped is a light hearted game focused on the realationships of those from the Trio Era. It begins in 2003 and is AU in that it does not comply with the deaths that took place in Deathly Hallows, nor does it comply with the Epilouge. Do you want Harry to be a Quidditch player? Go for it! Did Luna, in fact, marry Neville Longbottom? That's great. Did Hermione and Ron have a set of Triplets? Fine! All that we ask is that it's realistic.

In 1975, as Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot and Prongs (better known as the Marauders, at least to themselves) enter their 5th year at Hogwarts, the wizarding world as they know it is slowly changing.
Like the first touch of cool rain, dark whisperings are beginning to be heard among wizards, particularly those of the oldest pureblooded families. Something is coming - and as it arrives, the whispers will rise to voices, and eventually all wizards of the world will hear the echoes of screams.
Dark Voices follows the students of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry as they learn to adapt to a changing world. Making friends, forming alliances, standing for what they believe in, and all hoping that they will be left standing in the end.
A new game with over 30 characters, Dark Voices is looking for Peter Pettigrew to join our Marauders. We'd love to have some more Order members to balance out the Death Eaters, and more female Hogwarts students, as there are a lot more boys right now! Hogwarts professors are also welcome.

As a lighter post-Hogwarts game set in 2002 and interested in developing the lives of characters several years after the war, we already have over 30 taken characters but are looking for some key figures to further flesh out our cast. If you are looking for a game with an experienced, creative and a friendly collection of writers who have a good grasp of how interpersonal dynamics between characters work, and a couple of mods who encourage player-initiated plots and who aren't totally inflexible and nitpicky and won't make you replace your PB because your character is 23 years old and the actor looks more like 22 years and 5 months or has appeared in a film maybe five people watched once and is therefore too famous and so forth, you may be interested in checking us out.
We're due to start on July 1, 2008 and still have many colourful characters up for grabs. The post on current flats (though this can be negotiable) can be found here, with more on the premise and the different styles of flats available here. Below is some information on characters we're actively looking for and ideas of how they could work in the game.
