one2ndchance picks up where omgharrypotter left off. It's Post War AU RPG set in 2000. The War is over, it's time to start fresh...or at least try to. Lately the idea of peaceful society has been threatened by the rumors of lingering Death Eaters and if that wasn’t bad enough the Ministry is in need of some serious reform. The new Minister’s policies have caused paranoia throughout Wizarding Britain. Innocent people are being put on watch lists, basic rights are being thrown out the window, and purebloods along with families of Death Eaters are being mistreated.

Anyone in the books as long as they were alive during Harry's time and since we are not DH compliant anyone who died in DH is still alive. Aurors, Quidditch players, Ministry Workers, Purebloods, Muggle borns, the occasional Death Eater who cannot seem to let it go, Weasleys...Weeeeeasleys *puppy eyes*, they're all welcomed.

unexpectedrpg is a brand new AU Harry Potter role play for those who are tired of the same old drive toward war torn Britain. With Voldemort dead and his Death Eaters scattered to the winds, Kingsley Shaklebolt had stepped out of the ashes as a leader to bring the Wizarding world back to the proud position it had once held. No one had expected what he was about to do. For three years Kingsley led the way in the reconstruction of wizarding society, but his mind was not as sound as he would have the world believe. For him there were two main issues that prevent the community from fully healing: low population and the dislike between those of pure and mixed blood. Kingsley fully believed that by correcting these issues he would be creating the perfect society. It was this desire of perfection that led to the introduction of the Kinglsey's marriage and family planning legislation. As of January 1st, 2002 the Decree of Marriage and Family Planning took effect. All unmarried citizens of legal age are now required to register their marital status with the Ministry as of their seventeenth birthday. Those who do not apply by the new laws are considered social terrorists. The cells of Azkaban now have new attendents. Those who do register in accordance with the decree can expect an official letter stating the time and place of their wedding, as well as the Ministry approved match. With the legislation all marriages are now a matter of Ministry approval. Who will be your match?

Welcome to The Retreat, a rehabilitation center specializing in Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome for war victims. It is funded by Saint Mungo's hospital and set within the beautiful woodlands of the Kamchatka Peninsula. We proudly boast a well trained staff of nurses and doctors specializing in psychological counseling while, at the same time, providing a healthy and nurturing sense of community and family. What our pretty brochure won't tell you, however, is that our head doctor is a bit of a bored masochist with a god-complex, magic within The Retreat has been nearly nullified, the grounds are charmed to heighten emotional responses, and there's hidden cameras set up everywhere, even behind the two-way mirrors. So won't you join us in our pseudo-quest for mental wellness in a post-war world, where even though the Dark Lord is dead, the victims of the second war can't escape the fact that they'll always be someone else's pawn and plaything.
