Playground of the Gods is an active, afterlife based Harry Potter RPG. Over six months old, it has proven to be a resilient, fun, and strong community.

2001. Thorfinn Rowle becomes an Unspeakable and purposely ruins the Time Room while it's being repaired. The damage is unrepairable and it causes strange reactions when people enter the room, even time appears to stop. Thorfinn, bitter from losing the Dark Lord and the war against Harry, finds a way to rouse up some trouble. The room itself causes things to happen, even can make one apparate back in time. Only this room can do this and it is not known by the Ministry than anyone can do this to the room. Thorfinn starts to time-travel in hopes of getting a band of people together and stop taking over with hordes of death and destruction, but with subtle fear and pleasures. Sadly enough, he only thought of bringing back those that were useful to him and tried to cover them up. Eventually someone got wind of it and began to do the same but it didn't seem as successful. With these appearances, questions are being asked but given no answer. How will this development effect time? Should we send them back? Is it right? What if the Dark Lord returns?

It's the late 70s. Leg warmers are cool, Pink Floyd's The Wall has just been released, shag carpets and bellbottoms are free to roam, Bowie sparkles, and plaid rules the world. As the Marauders return to Hogwarts for their final year, the wizarding world is changing. Whispers of a war are growing louder, more people are dying, political and personal lives alike are becoming more thickly coated with fear, and, on top of all that, none of these kids will get a damn haircut. All In Plaid is a Marauder-era RPG offering a very casual, laid back atmosphere and a perfect balance between the playful side and the darker side not only of magic but of the individual witches and wizards who make up the generations destined to be a part of the first war.

We are a go-with-the-flow, first person format community looking for lots of new faces. This RPG will feature two general social circles of characters, one younger and still in Hogwarts and one older consisting of parents, Ministry officials, and Order Members. We have a lot of prime spots open from James Potter to the Dark Lord himself and everybody in between and would love anyone who is interested to come check us out and apply for a character. Any level of experience welcome. Who knows? Maybe you've been waiting all your life to be dressed all in plaid.

In 1975, as Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot and Prongs (better known as the Marauders, at least to themselves) enter their 5th year at Hogwarts, the wizarding world as they know it is slowly changing.

Like the first touch of cool rain, dark whisperings are beginning to be heard among wizards, particularly those of the oldest pureblooded families. Something is coming - and as it arrives, the whispers will rise to voices, and eventually all wizards of the world will hear the echoes of screams.

Dark Voices follows the students of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry as they learn to adapt to a changing world. Making friends, forming alliances, standing for what they believe in, and all hoping that they will be left standing in the end.

A new game with over 30 characters, Dark Voices is looking for some more Order members to balance out the Death Eaters, and more female Hogwarts students, as there are a lot more boys right now! Hogwarts professors are also welcome.

If everyone knew 1984 was when everything was going to happen, why was no one prepared? Hexennacht is an alternate universe MWPP game set in 1985; a world where Gellert Grindelwald is now the Minister of Magic for all of Europe, and Muggleborn wizards live in fear of the Black Caps, Grindelwald's personal army, charged with keeping the Muggles and wizards alike in line. Hexennacht begins with the latest decree restricting magic allowed by Muggleborn wizards to the simplest forms of magic, while the purebloods are allowed to get away with murder. With the Death Eaters on the run, Voldemort in Azkaban with no hope of getting out, and the Order in hiding, along with the remains of their single ally, a former terrorist organization, is there any hope of restoring Europe to a land of tolerance? It's been ten years since the fall of Voldemort and the Wizarding World is once again at peace. Beauxbatons, the french Academie de Magie, and the idyllic Wizarding town of Beauxcoteau saw very little of the war, but even their slight unease has passed. Things have returned to normal within the walls of the school. Normal, but never boring. Death might not be hanging over their heads, but failure, humiliation and social ruin are. The students are struggling to find themselves, forge their futures and avoid the sometimes cruel atmosphere of school. They are falling in and out of love, trying to keep peace with their siblings, and attempting to live up to the expectations placed on them. And then there are the students who don't want peace, don't want to grow up and refuse to follow anyone else's rules. There are Quidditch games to win, dances that require dates and tests to study for. Normal? Maybe. Boring? Never. Academie de Magie is a brand new game now accepting applications. Game play will begin on Wednesday the 13th!

It's been a year since the Final Battle, and the Wizarding World is slowly rebuilding. During that time Kingsley Shacklebolt has stepped up as Minister and quickly put to rights most of what the Death Eater regime wronged. Muggleborns are slowly filtering back into society, though fear of the same thing happening again is high.

Trials have been held and Death Eaters sentenced to Azkaban. While Azkaban is no longer guarded by Dementors, the prison is as cold and forbidding as ever. However, some Death Eaters have escaped and although they haven't made any overt moves since Shacklebolt and the Order came to power, neither has the overwhelming aura of fear abated much. Some Death Eaters escaped by turning in their associates; for others there was little evidence. Still others went on the run and are hiding from the Aurors and the Wizengamot.

There are whispers of an isolated group of Death Eaters still bent on seeing the rise of Purebloods and the annihilation of Muggles and Muggleborn alike, but no trace of this group has been seen. But their presence is felt, and it's only a matter of time before they strike.

But for Harry Potter and his friends, their lives are just beginning. Most of Harry's year chose to continue on for an 8th year at Hogwarts, under the Specialized NEWT Program. Having successfully completed that, they took their NEWTs in May of 1999, along with students in Ginny's year, and spent the summer (or longer) job hunting. With Auror and Healer Training to start in October, Quidditch to begin again after a year-long hiatus and new shops opening all the time in Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley no one wants to think about a second war.

But it's coming, and this time the aftermath will be epic. Is the Wizarding World ready for a Second War? It's time to find out in The Aftermath.

The first five years of Voldemort's active stage were relatively quiet though. Very few actually knew an uprising of the purist movement was coming soon - and in the most extreme of ways. Towards the middle of the decade, he and his Death Eaters came more into the forefront, staging attacks on the muggle and wizarding worlds alike. No witch or wizard could believe what was happening. Not since the time of Grindelwald had such havoc been wrought on their world, let alone to the muggles as well. However, life goes on. People get married, have children, continue living their lives, even with the constant threat over their heads. Students continue to attend Hogwarts and learn, fight, and fall in love. The fifth years prepare for their O.W.L.s. As they hurdle toward their exams, stress, along with the sparks of conflicting ideas, put strains on students and the relationships they hold, particularly one of Lily Evans and Severus Snape. The pinnacle moment of the breaking of their friendship was talked about for months afterwards. Severus Snape called his best friend a Mudblood in a moment of humilation and anger, causing the demise of their friendship, and putting into motion the events and actions that would eventually lead to the death of Lily and James Potter and baby Harry Potter destroying Voldemort the first time. But... what if it had not happened? What if James had not approached Severus and found something else to direct his attention towards? Would things have been different? Could it have changed the course of history or would Lily and James marry still and have the saviour of the wizarding world? Only time can tell. Death Eaters are infiltrating Hogwarts by recruiting students within, student's families are being torn apart, and the world is spiraling into a war based on bloodlines. Through all of this, how will Hogwarts students lead their lives? Where will their loyalties fall as they are forced to choose between joining Voldemort or defying him? One thing is certain though: They will feel like they are not in control of their own destinies.
