Character description (personality): Outgoing and energetic, but incredibly clumsy, Tonks could (almost literally) be described as a "whirlwind" personality. Tonks is fundamentally optimistic, she has strong ideals and an even stronger moral compass that she lives by. She is unendingly loyal to those she loves – she will forgive them just about anything, almost to a fault. She’s a hard worker, and once she sets her mind to something, it’ll get done to the best of her ability.

On the down side, Tonks tends to be spontaneous, a little bit thoughtless, and occasionally impatient. Her highs are quite high and her lows are correspondingly low. When she’s having a hard time, she is just as unable to hide it as she is unable to hide her good moods. It doesn’t happen often, but when she hits bottom, she hits it hard and it may adversely affect her ability to function.

Tonks is somewhat scatterbrained, and while she’s pretty endlessly curious, if she isn’t interested in something it can be difficult for her to stay motivated. Her marks at Hogwarts were generally very high, but only in those subjects she needed to get into Auror training. She failed Astronomy completely, for instance, not having any interest in the movements of the stars and planets.

RP Samples:
First person:

It's a bit strange, isn't it, dating someone you've known as a friend for a long time? I mean, I'm used to a kind of routine, meet someone, mutual chemistry, get to know them, decide whether to take it further... You'd think dating someone you already know would be easier, more comfortable. It's not, for me. I don't really know what I'm doing.

Third person:

Ironically enough, it was a beautiful summer night in Sussex. Tonks could hear the faint crashing of the waves, they were that close to the coast. The cottage would be very nice, very picturesque. If not for the grotesque death mask hovering in the air above, tingeing everything a sickly shade of green.

Tonks followed Jenkins as carefully as she could, using the dim light from both their wands to pick her way over the ground as they approached the house. Fortunately, even if she fell, the crash of the waves in the distance would likely muffle the noise. It felt very isolated out here, really, especially for someone used to the hustle and bustle of London.

A line from some Muggle film she'd seen once ran through her head as they stepped in the door. "...No one can hear you scream..." With a shiver, she entered the house marked by death.
