I'm posting this now because basically from tonight until Monday morning I am pretty much crazily booked and would probably forget and then not be around for like seven days and people might think I've disappeared or something and that would be pretty sucky, soooo.

So Monday I leave for Ireland which yay Ireland! I’ll have my ipad but chances of me actually using for something other than organizational/navigational purposes are pretty slim. Not that I don’t love you people, but IRELAND.

If I don't return, please remember me fondly and know its because I ran off with a hot Irish man and will miss you all lots. But you know, hot Irish man easily wins in the end.

And think of great events you want to have happen. Of course there will be more laser tag and I am like 95% certain that the Lawrence Historical Society is so gonna do the Gone with the Wind ball but ideas people. Give me them.

Also, no one gets alcohol as a gift because you know ridiculous age thing, but I will drink some for each of you in spirit.

I found a 7-day trip to Ireland for under $1000. SEVEN DAYS. With round trip airfare and a rental car and accommodations already built in. DOES SOMEONE WANT TO GO WITH ME TO IRELAND? I can schedule it for right after the talent show is over and before classes start at the university and it could be the 11-17 of August or like a few days after the 11th. COME ON, people. You know someone wants to go to Ireland. We could get like a whole group of us to go.

And maybe by then beer will be back and we can drink at a real Irish pub and see castles. Don’t you want to see castles?!

I hope everyone that went had a blast at laser tag yesterday. Also, don't worry Team Bon Jovi, you'll get a chance to try to kick our fabulous butts the next time we play. Which really, this has potential to be at least a monthly thing.


Rose! If I get the field trip forms filled out can I plan an excursion to a farm that's only a few minutes out of town? Let the kids enjoy some good old fashioned horseback riding?

If she does agree to this I'm so gonna need chaperoning help. Anyone want to visit a farm and ride horses? It looks like you can also milk cows and stuff but I'll stick to the horse part.

Since the coffee and candy and everything doesn’t seem to be suddenly reappearing back into our lives, maybe we should do things to help us stop thinking about the crazy that has occurred.

And you know what’s a great substitute for caffeine? Adrenaline.
