That's always a nice change.

It is. I also don't see the point of being all doom and gloom just because things seem dire. Sometimes you just ned to hold onto the good and if it's just a feeling, so be it.

Hi. I'm Gigi.

Yeah, that makes sense. Sorta reminds me of Caroline actually.

Nice to meet you. I'm Matt.

I have my moments.

Nice to meet you, too. So, how are you on this lovely summer day, Matt?

Glad to hear it.

I can't complain. It's a nice warm day out.

If William says otherwise, don't believe him. He's just doing his older brother thing.

It is! Not too hot or sticky, either.

I don't think I've met William, so you're probably safe.

Exactly. It's like the perfect temperature.

He just likes to show up and be all "Georgiana" and whatever else he has to say. But he's a good older brother. AND he's helping me teach the 30s class if you plan on attending.

It really is. I'm from California, so I don't know if this is normal or not for the area, but I like it.

Oh, I hadn't thought about it, but I don't know much about the 30's so why not?

I'm from Mystic Falls, Virginia. I'd never actually been out of the town until I got to Lawrence, so I don't know either.

It should be fun. And we're going to do swing dancing demonstrations.

San Francisco has more variety than LA, but I absolutely love the diversity. And thunder storms!!

...I really like storms apparently.

It sounds like it. Maybe I can drag a couple of my friends with me.

I like storms, too.

You definitely should!

Yay! I feel like most people don't and I just don't get why. They're awesome and it always smells really nice once they're done. And whatever people call rain in California, especially LA? Is so not rain.

(Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

[info]crazyassworld

I'll try. I'm not sure one of them will be able to make it because she's got a shoulder injury.

We don't get a lot of storms in Virginia, so maybe that's why I like them. They're rare. It's a pollution thing in LA, I'm guessing?

(Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

[info]foolishbeauty
2013-07-29 12:22 am UTC (link)
Well even if she can't dance, she can still come along.

I wouldn't say so much pollution? It's something to do with air pressure and...the stratosphere and other science-y thing. Just climate, really. Precipitation happens and everyone freaks out, but after being in actual rain storms? So not rain, more like drizzle.

Instead, we get earthquakes and fires. Like, because it's so dry, there's fodder, but then after the random rainy seasons that aren't really rain like here, then you get more growth, which leads to more fuel for the fires when it's dry again.

(Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

[info]crazyassworld
2013-07-29 12:24 am UTC (link)
This is true. I'll definitely talk to her about it.

Science is not my strong suit. And drizzle sounds much more unpleasant than rain.

That's just depressing.

(Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

[info]foolishbeauty
2013-07-29 12:45 am UTC (link)
You should!

Mine either. I just lived there all my life, so some of it sticks. Especially for rain. And it isn't. It's all... you get damp or wet but it's more annoying than anything.

Right? I mean, I love San Francisco and the diversity you have up there and the views. But in terms of fires and earthquakes? Not so much. And LA has all the music and acting industries but it's also way competitive.

Yep!

And just a feeling. But I mean, it wasn't stupidly hot or humid. There's going to be storms tonight and tomorrow and that's just in the weather department!

How has your day been going?

(Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

[info]feelingwolfie
2013-07-29 05:09 am UTC (link)
But a good feeling about a day must mean you think something is going to happen. Otherwise, isn't it just feeling good that day? We're not going to see you out dancing in the rain, are we?

Not bad. Bored, mostly.

[info]foolishbeauty

Feeling good about the day means that you are open to opportunities. And even if nothing comes through, you still feel good. And maybe I will go dancing in the rain!

Well you can come dancing in the rain with me to alleviate your boredom if you're so inclined. Or other things.

Little bit.

...is it wrong of me to get angry when people keep trying to talk to me about the vampire that ruined my sister's life and killed our aunt cause he was a selfish bastard who cares nothing for anyone else who isn't a vampire-werewolf hybrid named Klaus?

I think it depends on the conversation. I mean, if they're trying to justify him? Most definitely. I know William gets livid when Wickham is brought up. In his William way where he gets very tense and doesn't talk and glares. But it's William level livid.

But if they're making sure you're okay because it's being brought up? Probably not such a good thing to be angry. I mean you're angry about him, but getting angry at people who just want to check on you? It makes things messy.

Caroline's post asking about advice was for Klaus but I haven't been overly worried about him because there's a truce. We leave him and his family be they leave me and my sister and the others from Mystic Falls alone.

I'm just not a fan of everyone constantly bringing him up. If I wasn't okay with it I'd say something. I've learned from watching my sister that bottling things up inside doesn't lead to anything good happening so I'd say something, you know? And I just want to forget about the stupid Original vampires and live a normal life. Or at least as normal a life as I can here. I know that's what my sister wants for me.

I had a feeling. Honestly, from what I've seen, I don't like him but that's for more personal reasons and what he makes me think about. But at least he doesn't seem to be a threat because of the truce? However long that They're always so

Believe me, I understand. I only had two people who knew about some things and both were very worried and would keep asking for awhile and it was frustrating. But just know that it's because they care. And if your sister has a tendency to bottle things up like you said before, then maybe they worry that you will do the same. If it's just checking up on you, though, just try to calm down and talk about other things. They obviously care about you if they're worried. Wanting to ignore things and getting upset when it's brought up is no reason to lose relationships of any kind.

Gigi the Optimistic Psychic. It does have a ring to it, you have to say. You might give Miss Cleo a run for her money.
